Jacobliterator
I'd dial back on the Dragon types. All it takes is a Garchomp (and you will encounter at least one) and you're kinda screwed. I use a Seaking as my Water type, why not give that a shot?
ShaneKaze
I was considering using Sharpedo from a Carvanha that I could fish, as I would be getting that dual Dark type as well.It was between Sharpedo and Dragalge and I thought Dragalge stayed a water/poison type, but I was mistaken :INot 100% sold on Sharpedo tho. Jacobliterator
Its easy to be that way about Sharpedo. What about Walrein? You can get Sealeo in Ametrine Mountain and level it up. It will take absolutely anything thrown at it.
alaneapen
Adaptability Crawdaunt also works if you want that dual water dark typing. You can rock smash the rocks in Apophyll for a corphish.
ShaneKaze
Walrein seems to be obtainable far into the future. I don't know if I want to wait that long.As for Crawdaunt, I think I'd prefer Sharpedo over it.
Jacobliterator
How far in are you? Just to get an idea?
ShaneKaze
Chasing El in the area under Reborn City. Saved like right in front of him.So basically I'm soon to fight Radomus after all of this.
Jacobliterator
Try a Seismotoad. A Palpitoad can be found in the swamp between Coral Ward and Apophyll Beach.
ShaneKaze
You make a fine point, but is Seismitoad's movepool good?I kinda drifted off Pokemon after Gen 4 and only played White once.
Jacobliterator
No probs mate. He's got a pretty good movepool. You can counter his one weakness to Grass with Sludge Wave and he can learn moves like Muddy Water (think Surf but without hitting your teammates.), Poison Jab, Rain Dance, Drain Punch, Focus Blast, Hydro Pump, the list goes on. ShaneKaze
You know what, I'm up for new changes. I'll pick one up and see how I roll with it.Thank you so much Jacobliterator C: The only other thing that was bugging me was Luxray.Lack of speed really hurts Electric types, and since I recently passed the Aventurine Woods, I've heard of a Joltik being available. Is Galvantula comparable to Luxray??Base Stat wise it has better speed and slightly better Sp. Attack.I mean I was holding out for Luxray to learn Wild Charge. Then it would really only have Wild Charge and Crunch as it's moves, which is sort of lacking.Galvantula seemed to have a diverse movepool from what Serebii told me. Bug Buzz, Discharge, Sucker Punch, and best of all it actually learns Thunder Wave for 100% Paralysis effects.I was just wondering about your thoughts on it.EDIT:Wasn't there some sort of Piplup event that I read about. Or was that in some previous episode. Because Empoleon was like my favorite from 4th Gen. Edited April 26, 2015 by ShaneKaze
Jacobliterator
Galvantula. If you use agility, then electro ball, your opponent is screwed. Bug Buzz and Sucker Punch are good too. Luxray just doesn't have the speed necessary for Electric types.
Jacobliterator
P.S. No idea on the event, but good on you. Empoleon is awesome. My fav Gen 4 is still Magnezone, but he's easily second.
ShaneKaze
According to the Pokemon Location Guide (Since searching Pipulup really only brought up starter topics) you can find it on 7th Street.I picked up a Carvanha in the mean time with Jolly nature C:Sadly not speed boost, but when I get another ability capsule I can fix that.Training it on the Bouffalants on Route 1 before proceeding any further, took out Arceus already though.I s'pose I should pick up that Joltik as well owo and train that up. Jacobliterator
Its just my opinion, so you don't have to follow it. Just go with it if you think its good.
