exxo
As Corey stated, he is surely not the only gym leader sided with Meteor, so I was wondering who could work for them, besides Terra. I don't think she is the only one.. Is there any clue who else could be implicated with them? Sorry if i posted in the wrong place.
BreezyPonie
I think a while back someone speculated that Julia was with them, but it didn't go anywhere IIRC. A while back, I saw Titania conversing with a Meteor Grunt in the forests of Route 1. She got all defensive after I talked to her and essentially told me to f*ck off XD I think that at the very least, she has some sort of shady dealing going on with them, somehow. Fumble
Radomus is also speculated to be a member of Team Meteor (or at least a former member), since he had a Team Meteor outfit when you had to flee Vanhanen Castle. He's kinda strange and not very trustworthy. He also insisted on keeping Anna's Amethyst Pendant, which many people think is a sign that he's Anna and Noel's dad, but it also could signify that he's part of Team Meteor's plan to get the four stones. Still, I don't completely believe this theory, mainly because I personally like Radomus. Also, I don't think he would ever work with El(ias). Vinny
Radomus is also speculated to be a member of Team Meteor. He's kinda strange and not very trustworthy. Lost would have your head for that comment. But you said you like Radomus, so i guess it's okay. A while back, I saw Titania conversing with a Meteor Grunt in the forests of Route 1. Titania would probably tell you to f*ck off regardless. That's just who she is. Honestly, i have no clue who would be related to Team Meteor when we talk about the gym leaders. There's not a lot of leads right now. Can't say. What i really want though, is for Shade to meet with the rest of Team Meteor. Now that's going to be something I wanna see. Lost Lore
Lost would have your head for that comment. But you said you like Radomus, so i guess it's okay. Being honest, no, I would not. Because Radomus is quite strange and has not done much to make himself seem very trustworthy. I do still trust him thus far, but I can see why others would not. I also don't think we can take Titania speaking with a member of Team Meteor as her having some shady dealing with them- for all we know, she was just telling that guy to fuck off. She probably wouldn't like them sneaking around trying to thieve Amaria's bracelet, after all. As Terra being involved with Meteor came completely out of left field for me (I can see it, now that we know that she's a skilled hacker despite her demeanor, but... startled me anyway initially), I can't really vouch for anyone else I'd think would be allied with them. Lord_Ludo
TOTALLY COMPLETELY SERIOUS THEORY: Shelly Team Meteor confirmed. We know she was good friends with Cal, as they both always lived in their brothers shadows, Blake and Bugsy respectively. And when Cal lashed out at her and left, Shelly was devastated. Devastated enough to turn to Team Meteor methinks. When Corey jumps off Beryl Bridge, with Shelly witnessing the aftermath, she was all choked up and traumatized, "because it was Heather's father and she's a young kind." Yea okay, more like she just witnessed her ally kill himself, that'd choke anyone up right? When the Doctor kidnaps her along with the other children, she doesn't seem to resist very hard. She's a gym leader after all, isn't she supposed to be al powerful and stuff? Yet she just gave into their grasp, something that could hint to an alliance... And no, its not because Shelly is a wuss, thats a perfect cover up anyways for it. Nobody suspects the quiet ones. Team Meteor almost immediately locates the kids at Charlotte's manor near Tanzen Mountain, therefore making it seem like there was an inside man among the group... Agent Shelly confirmed. Yea, Shelly attacked Team Meteor alone with you and Cal to protect Heather, but that's all it was, to protect Heather. She wouldn't have cared if it was you or Cal that Blake had captured, only Heather, her one true friend. Shelly knew Corey was a part of Team Meteor from the get-go, and because of that joined to protect him and Heather, as she knew losing Corey would devastate Heather. As Shelly failed in this objective, her only goal was to get Heather back, even if it meant to go against the organization she joined. As I said before, A TOTALLY LEGIT THEORY AND DEEEEFINITELY NOT A JOKE IN ANYWAY
Gaunt
I really can't see anyone of the remaining Leaders to be part of the meteors (maybe Titania but it's unlikely), Corey probably meant Terra, Cal and Blake...inb4 ALL the Gym Leaders are meteors. Chase
I'm one of the people that is HIGHLY suspicious of Radomus. The Meteor Garb, ambivalent degree of security the dialogue provides us, and knowledge of the gemstones holding particular power make's the man seemingly have the right hat for the job. He also doesn't give the player the choice, which is a stark difference from -asking- if the player would hand over the pendent. Another thing to take note of here, is that while Radomus is questionably good, El is questionably evil if the player is able to look past the obvious unlike-ability. For instance, is a father wanting to be with his daughter (regardless of parenting skills or disciplinary knack) something that would be questionably bad? The thing about El with me is that I -do- have a penchant for divinity seeking (and I also believe that I have a bit of skill in it myself by that's not the point.) - Is he -truly- ill-intented? There are other characters that illicit this kind of thinking. - Taka - Dr. Connal (provided you know his backstory.) By the same coin, Radomus is also not something anyone can put their finger on. Gaunt
Radomus is totally a good guy just look at the costumes/hats he has and at his sense of humor a person with all that can't be bad...wait...Terra is funny but also "evil" (well really she was just bored) so that can also mean...naa i don't believe it and even if he indeed turns out to be against us i would like him anyway (just like Terra). El on the other hand is just a crazy cultist nothing more.
Damage
Terra wasn't bored shes %&*%ing crazy. Hilda I'm with you, Radomus while entertaining does not have my faith what so ever. If I were to guess on a meteor leader in the league its definitely Titania since what I've seen of her resembles Corey's story. Other than that, I think meteor is more fighting leaders than recruiting them. Unless they've taken this time we've been locked out the city to take in older leaders. That'd suck huh? Unless they've taken this time we've been locked out the city to take in older leaders. That'd suck huh? Julia would use her boomies before letting them get close and they'd be able to hold off against them anyway since Aya, Cal and Shelly have improved their teams throughout our adventure so it wouldn't be a surprise if the older leaders such as Florinia or Shade improved their teams too. I suspect Amaria could be deceived by Meteor though until the player and Titania manage to convince her otherwise (perhaps in front of the meteor admin that's bound to be in the Water Treatment Facility). PsychoticPudu
I see Titania more as an Ex-Meteor. I think she was talking to the grunt about her resignation to the team. If Amaria gets amnesia, I'd see the bad guys making her believe she's one of them. Then there's a memory recovery quest involving the sorority sisters and who knows what else. Cal I guess did too but he's got a gym leader and a protagonist bodyguard. According to my headcanon, she joined when Solaris was still the leader. This action granted protiection from their shenanigans to herself and her friends, but Florinia didn't know the bottom of it. She got shocked when she discovered that her friend joined a bunch of terrorists and now she is the Flobot we all know and love. The Team Meteor never gave her tasks dealing with the city, but she is the main responsible behind whatever happened with the trains in the desert. But when Lin got to the top, some inner stuff changed, she got fed up of it and double-crossed them. But then again, it's just a theory. A Reborn theory. Shing
Uhhh, who's Simon? I don't remember him... at all. Simon is the person with Tara in team meteor. He was Team meteor member when her girlfriend(tara) died in the battle of the sirius/connal event time. If you did some event thing or something in the spoiler. He did then resigned. You meet him at graveyard in the city with the cody. Forgot the name. He did then did go home in jasper ward, and if you find him, he will mention the body of Taka in the lake. Tomas Elliot
You know, reading this after watching WCW wrestling shows from the nineties (namely the NWO storyline and its endless stream of "WHO IS THE THIRD MAN?" and "OH MY GOD THERE WAS A FOURTH MAN!") really makes me wonder if Ame is a covert wrestling fan. With this in mind, I hope Ame doesn't do the mistake WCW did, I.E. dragging the whole angle for too long, with too many people jumping ship to the point were people just stopped reacting to the repeated heel turns simply because they had become an almost daily occurrance ("Oh look, turns out that guy was the 36th man of NWO *yawns* "). So yeah, to quit the wrestling metaphore and talk clear: I hope Ame will resist the tentation of putting the player into a stream of "shocking" revelations in which all of (or most of) the leaders join Team Meteor one after the other. An angle involving a traitor has enormous emotional potential, so whenever it is used it should be made to feel like a big deal. And like all things, if it happens once per episode it stops feeling like a big deal, which ends up killing the potential. So yeah, revealing another leader to be a traitor would be a risky decision. Revealing two leaders to be traitors wouldstart feeling redundant, albeit still salvageable if two or more episodes pass between the reveals. Revealing 3 or more leaders to be traitors would be a mistake. Or at least I think so.
