James looked down at his Shadow which shuddered once before going back to it static position. It always seemed so easy when playing games or in those television shows but when you actually experience it, it was terrifying in a way. But the rush and thrill that seemed to appear as a result excited him for some reason, like he told Phoebe earlier, part of the reason why he had become a trainer instead of a breeder which seemed to fit him so much more was because of the thrill that appeared in battles and this situation emulated that even with the grim tone. "Well then, let's get this going then..."James muttered before entering the tunnel following after Slade and Tyson.

{Arena- Jacob, Kage, & Bart}

A Porygon and a Magneton flew past Jacob as Bart's Infernape launched a double Fire Punch attack, knocking both of them out cleanly. The former champion grinned as he watched the weirdly dressed creeps stare in disbelief at the teenager who'd bested them. "You didn't really think the top Pokemon Academy was going to be so easy to take out, did you?" he asked mockingly. "Now, Luffy, Flamethrower!" The Infernape inhaled deeply and launched a huge gout of flame toward the remaining Pokemon, knocking them out in short order.

"Dragon Rage!" Jacob shouted. Spitfyre launched a blue fireball at the incoming Thunderbolt from the Magneton, causing an explosion in the middle of the field. "Help Teo follow up, Arete! Use Extrasensory!" The Togetic fired a rainbow-hued beam at the Magneton, locking it in place as Teo began a Sand Tomb attack. He used the sand to torpedo himself toward the Magnetic Pokemon, his jaw glowing blue as he prepared a Superpower attack. He slammed his enemy on impact, sending yet another Magneton way across the field. Just as he was about to launch a powerful Psychic attack on the occupied pair, the Elgyem found himself following his teammate across the Arena floor thanks to an Iron Tail from the Charmeleon.

Kage's attacks on the Metang landed cleanly, with Reina clinging onto the Steel-type. Lucas's Magical Leaf shield was shredded to bits, but whatever magical properties the leaves had had managed to stop the Sonic Boom. Either way, the Metang was clearly badly wounded, and another solid hit would be enough to take it down. "Gah!" one grunt shouted, clearly frustrated by his squad's lack of success. His teammate shook his head.

"We don't need their Pokemon, remember?" he said firmly. "We just need to buy some more time for him to relieve that Professor of his newest test subject." With that said, he grinned. "Metal Claw! Knock those pesky Pokemon away!" The Metang swung its claw at the Tyrunt, landing a powerful blow and knocking her away. He swung his now-free arm at the other Metang, which was still nearby, clearing the field for itself and its partner.

"Screw them!" the first grunt shouted. "If they want to stop us, then they'll learn the true meaning of being loyal to a cause!" The Voltorb then began to glow white, looking as though it was about to unleash a devastating attack...

{Haunted House- Mareek}

As Mareek and Nemo reached the second floor, they were met with a startling scene. Inside the hallway, they saw a group of the strangely-dressed grunts trapped inside a tangle of wild-looking vines and branches that seemed to come from the walls themselves. All of them appeared to be knocked out except for one. He was dangling from his limbs in the center of the room, only vines supporting him in the middle of the air. Suddenly, he began to dance an Irish jig, the vines moving his body like a marionette as he screamed and looked on in terror.

The only thing that took Mareek's attention away from the strange display was the sound of cackling coming from behind him. "Excuse me," came a young woman's voice, broken up by the occasional giggle. When she passed Mareek to inspect her handiwork, he would have noticed that she was a dark-skinned girl, her straight black hair tied behind her head in a clean ponytail. Possessing an athlete's build, she wore a green tank top that said 'Bad Bitch' in cursive rhinestones with a pair of short jean shorts and combat boots. and her eyes were coal-black, shining in the faux-gaslight of the hall lamps. Overall she was pretty relaxed, and seemed to be busy admiring her art. "You know, it's rude to stare," she reprimanded the young Trainer. "I suppose you're here because you heard the screaming, right?" The girl laughed. "What a joke. The second I let it out these guys came running, probably hoping to find some helpless little girl." Suddenly, a pair of red eyes dropped down in front of Mareek. A sharp hiss sounded and all he saw was a snake's mouth and fangs.

The girl laughed again. "Easy there, Eury. I don't think this one is dinner for you." A Serperior grumbled begrudgingly as it uncoiled itself from the rafters, slithering down to wrap itself around its Trainer's feet. "Although his Pokemon could be dessert..." At this, the Serperior's eyes veritably lit up and she licked her lips, watching the Cubone closely. The strange girl shook her head. "No, no. I have to go find my idiot brother." She looked Mareek up and down, offering a hint of recognition. "You're Mareek Sisto. Gotta say, I was disappointed you didn't make it to the finals. But then again, the way your little swordsman turned so bloodthirsty..." The girl bit her lip, seeming to relish the memory. "I'll tell you what, amateur. You help me get my brother out of the Arena alive and I won't feed your little friend here to Eury."

Mareek had no words to describe what this all was. From the strangely dressed men to the tangle of dense overgrowth, right to the obviously powerful Serpent and the woman standing in front of him now. Bizarre, might come close... and so would the word Crazy. Yeah... Bizarre and Crazy, that about summed it all up. Not that he was anywhere near stupid enough to dare voice that thought at the moment, though; He could recognize power when he saw it, especially when it was so far outside of his own level. But damn, he had to admit, this chick right here... she was some kind of scary.

"Well... I don't really see what choice I have here but to comply." He said simply,steeling himself and materializing that same cold, unreadable mask of a face that he used during the battle with Lana. This lady appeared to be just a tad bit on the Psycho Bonkers Crazy side from what he could gather so far; and he really didn't want to give her a reason to start toying with him like the guy dancing that jig over yonder... "If that... impressive vine work...is any indication, then your serperior is obviously strong enough to wield the move Frenzy Plant... which means you're obviously so far out of my league that putting up a fight would be akin to suicide."

Nemo, meanwhile... wasn't about to back down from the Lady's threat, even if Mareek was. This wasn't the first time this week that something had threatened to eat him up like a plate of Cubone pie a la mode, and the threats had been made by a crazy, electrical fox, no less... this lady would have to get a bit more creative with the death threats if she wanted to top Joltara in the fear department.

"Cube..." Was all the tiny fighter muttered. He had hoped Erce would be nearby to back them up, but there was no response from her if she was here... either way though, he stood at the ready at his master's feet, keeping his eyes on the serpent. Sure, the snake might be powerful, but he had a promise to deliver on, and he was still going to protect Mareek the best he could, if it came to it. And if he did happen to get eaten in the process, at least he could apologize to Java on the other side...

And he hoped he would give the bastard a bad, baaaaad double-whammy case of Indigestion and the Runs if he tried it...

{Haunted House- Mareek}

A squeal of approval greeted Mareek's agreement. The strange young woman clapped her hands quickly together and jumped up and down like a little girl. Suddenly she stopped her antics and put a hand on her hip, leaning her head in. "Thanks for the praise, amateur. Always nice to meet a fan." Eury simply continued staring hungrily at the Cubone, offering it a mocking hiss. Deciding the tiny swordsman wouldn't be a filling enough meal anyway, she put her head on her coils and continued to eye the red-headed boy.

Just as quickly as her Serperior had eased up on her target, her Trainer closed in on hers. She stood uncomfortably close to Mareek, her face mere inches from his. "The whole 'fearless' thing is a cute act, amateur. But don't think for a second that I don't see through it. You know how know you're scared of me?" She leaned even closer whispering in his ear. "Because you should be." With that, she flicked him on his nose and skipped off toward the staircase, followed lazily by her Grass-type serpent. As she reached the bottom of the stairs, she turned around. "Mareeeeeeeeeeeeek~" she called in a singsong voice. "Come on! You shouldn't keep a lady waiting!"

"A terrorist attack and a crazy chick...all in one day...God, what have I just gotten into?" Mareek sighed under his breath in relief once she was gone, so low that not even Nemo could catch it. "Well... as...off as she seems, at least it looks like she's not the enemy here... so that's a thing." He took another look around the place, making sure to take in every visual detail about what the, what he assumed to be, grunts were loaded out with. Some type of high tech armor and helmets or something. To bad they didn't seem to have any outward signifiers of an organization... though he knew from the logo he'd seen on the jumbotron that he wouldn't have recognized it even if they did.

"There's no use hiding anymore." He said into the darkness. He didn't have to check and see to know that Erce had concealed herself just around the corner... he just knew she was there, just like he always knew where she was, much in the same way he always just knew which duplicate was the real her whenever she used double team in battle... "We're leaving, stay close to me... seriously, please...." There was a bit more pleading in his voice at the last part than he would've liked to admit. But it didn't take anything more for Erce to emerge from the shade, and without another word the trio headed back down the stairs to follow one Ms.'Bad Bitch' and her pet grass snake. Mareek honestly wouldn't have stopped when he met up at the bottom floor's landing; the way out was easy enough to recall even in the dark...But there was no way in hell he was just going to go turning his back to this stranger, not just yet.

"Well, lead the way, I guess..."

Damnit. Well, here goes nothing. "Reina, Bulldoze!" As he shouted the order, Kage recalled both of the Pokemon he currently had on the field with a smooth motion, simultaneously trying to brace himself against the incoming tremors. The saurian Pokemon rolled back onto her feet, a bit unsteadily, and then slammed a foot down with a powerful motion, sending shock waves toward the opposing team. Her trainer was sent to his rear, but Kage still prepared to send both Lucas and al'Thor back out when the attack subsided.

((al'Thor is a Metang, by the way.))

Claude

The coordinator was scared. He really didn't want to go, not after yesterday and the very frank reminder that his friends could die, even in a friendly competition. This was real though, that made things even worse. there were no safety nets. Anything could happen... Claude was about to announce his intent to stay behind when Arcturus burst out of his pokeball and began spinning towards the tunnel, charging forward and propelling itself forward with Rapid Spin. "Shit!" Claude cursed in surprise as he set off running after the Staryu, hoping to catch it before it was too late t go back, an apprehensive Doux trailing behind.

((Report to the OOC for battling instructions after reading))

{Waiting Room B & Tunnel}

Kristen balked at the possibility of having to fight those creeps. Every time she tried to think about it, all she could recall was how badly she'd lost her cool during the first round of the Winter Cup. The usually fiery redhead sat despondent on a bench, shaking her head. "I-I'm sorry, guys... But I can't... I just can't, okay?" she said resignedly. Tears began to stream down her face as she cried silently, cradling her Vullaby. Maybe I'm not cut out for this... she thought to herself, suddenly feeling very alone.

Lana stood up, brushing her hair back from her face. "I-if you all really need me, I'll go. I can't say no if my friends need my help," she said softly, radiating a quiet determination as she walked into the tunnel.

Alvin sneered, pushing his glasses up his nose. "There's no way I'd back down from this. If this school goes up in flames, so does my career as a Bug Maniac!"

================================

Tyron looked the group over, nodding in approval. "Those of you who've come, I applaud you and thank you for your bravery. This isn't going to be easy, so I have a very long-winded and extremely inspirational speech that I've prepa-" he said, suddenly cut off by the sound of a mob of creeps marching down tunnel. Tyron shook his head. "Okay, no time for the speech! We're about to be under attack, so I'd suggest getting in a horseshoe with me in the center. We're going to hold this hallway so they can only come at us a few at a time. Hurry, get in position!" he urged.

Alvin took up a position all the way on the right side of the horseshoe, while Lana quietly slid over near Claude, who looked very frightened. "We'll be okay," she promised gently. "We have Tyron here, but we need you to give it your all. Okay?" she asked with a shy smile.

{Arena- Jacob, Kage, & Bart}

Kage's strategy paid off. The fainted Pokemon were beamed back into their balls by the creeps, who were fuming in frustration. "Even though it wasn't our mission to win, I can't stand that these brats beat us! They're just so powerful," one complained. He seemed to consider his options before turning tail and running away screaming, "Retreat!" The other grunts followed suit, clambering up the walls of the Arena and out through the seating area. Hopefully the defeated members of that organization wouldn't be too troublesome for the fans. As they fled, Bart laughed and shook his head. "They're powerful in numbers, but against strong Trainers who work together they can't do anything." He looked to the other two, cocking his head. "That being said, we should find more people before we get overwhelmed. My sister should be around here somewhere..." he said, trailing off into a mutter at the end. "Let's head through Waiting Room A. We can leave through the tunnel and walk around the outside of the Arena to get to Waiting Room B. I'm sure plenty of people went there to get out through the tunnel." He paused for a moment. "By the way, that was nice battling back there. It would've been a great final."

Jacob nodded in agreement, returning Teo and Arete to their Balls. "Right. I'm in agreement with you, especially that part about the final." He looked to his roommate, who had won his battle decisively. "Hey, Kage, let's go." With that Bart led Jacob and Kage down the tunnel, through Waiting Room A, and outside the Arena, only to see a large group of the strangely dressed thugs trying to force their way into the Waiting Room B tunnel.

"That's not good," Bart said flatly. He then broke into a run, heading into the fray to help out who he could only presume were students.

{Arena Exterior- Mareek and "Ms. Bad Bitch"}

The girl had practically dragged Mareek out of the door of the Haunted House and toward the Arena, insisting that he had been walking too slowly despite the fact that he had been walking at exactly the same speed she was. She'd been oddly quiet the whole time, wearing a serious grimace. That changed, however, when she caught sight of the creeps entering the tunnel and the group converging on them from behind.

"Hey, wait a second..." she said quietly. She then practically shrieked in delight, clapping her hands. "That's my baby brother! Ooooohhhhh, I'm gonna wring his skinny little neck!" she said excitedly. "Don't fall behind, amateur!" she taunted, breaking into a run and moving to reunite with her brother.

((Battle theme!))

Claude

Claude had quickly caught up to Arcturus, quickly returning the Aquarian to its pokeball.

"Calm down, I don't want you getting hurt and I only just caught you, we don't work together as well as the others." Claude murmured to the pokeball before Lana stepped beside him. Claude fell into formation next to Alvin and he smiled gently in thanks for Lanas quiet support.

"You're right, Lana. if we do this, we do it with our best foot forward." Claude got louder as he finished his sentence. He found himself falling into the same act as he would when performing.

"Who better to lead the charge than my very own Bug-type cavalier?" He announced with a nervous little quaver in his voice. Claude released Lancelot from his pokeball and the bug type dutifully took up a protective position in front of his trainer, glaring down the tunnel towards the poor grunt who found themselves facing Lancelot.

Robert nodded to Tyron with a confident smile, taking his place the the right. "Kiai, you fine doing whatever you can first?" Robert asked as he returned Nikki, getting a nod as the Lucario took his place In front of Robert feeling ready for whatever came.

Slade made his way to the far left and took his position. "Sasuke for now stay behind me for now. As for who's in front, Xemnas I think this'll be your specialty!" The boy said as he released the sand shank from his pokeball. "Keep yourself underground with dig. Since we're in a tunnel this'll be fun." He said with with a smug and confident tone to hide his the fact he's a bit frightened. Xemnas then dived into the ground, though still being visible by his fin sticking from the ground as he moved. Sasuke walked behind Slade covering his back just in case the enemy started attacking from both sides or to use a smokescreen to help the group escape if things get too hairy.

"Yeah yeah, I'm coming..." Mareek sighed under his breath. So much for that period of silence on the way over... right now though, he was a bit more concerned with the crowd of grunts up ahead than he was about the crazy chick or her sibling. Chances were, they were probably going to get into a fight pretty soon. So he might as well take the time to prepare right now.

"Erce, Nemo..." He turned to the two as he reached into his jacket and pulled out something before tossing it to the ground at Nemo's feet. The swordsman recognized it instantly- his precious club... "there's gonna be some trouble up ahead. Our two newest additions are nowhere near fighting shape, and... Java isn't here anymore-" Both Nemo and Erce nodded their heads before he could say another word. They knew how much their friend's death and the newbies' weaknesses had enfeebled the team's overall power. They both would do their very best to carry not only their own weight, but the other three's as well, and both Erce and Nemo would do their separate duties to defend him on top of that if needed...even if it potentially meant ending up like Java.

"A-alright then..." Mareek said, unable but to find himself a bit surprised, though he smiled... just for a moment. He could feel his body shaking, could feel those stampeding thoughts, those countless 'what are we doing's and 'what if's beginning to cascading through his mind. Those thoughts about his father, those thoughts about his brother... those thoughts about what he knew could happen again. He hadn't ever really doubted Nemo's loyalty, let alone Erce's, But it still meant the world to have just have that one piece of absolute confirmation that both of them had his back; That one piece of confirmation that at least they wouldn't abandon him... that he could trust them.

"Thanks, guys..." He managed, turning back to face the enemy again. "Now... let's go!" And with that last command, the boy and his Guardians turned and took off down the corridor after Ms.Bad Bitch, ready for whatever may come.

Kage hurried after Jacob and Bart. Once they reached the pile of grunts at the tunnel, he turned to the person he would have been battling. "Jacob, how about you send Teo in up front, and Lucas'll stand back and give them hell from a safe distance. I'd send out Reina, but she took a nasty hit earlier and she needs some time to recover. It looks like these goons have a lot of the same Pokemon." He laughed, despite the situation. "It's like they think they're from a video game or something. Let me guess, they're wearing some sort of funky outfits too?"

"Well then...Liona..?"The blue dragon was released from her poke ball before coiling around James's arm,most of his Pokemon aside from Shade didn't have the best mobility yet and Leviathan wouldn't be much help until he evolved either and he doubted the red fish would get much of a fighting chance considering that the few Pokemon he had seen the odd thugs use were mostly steel and electrically oriented type wise. Shade and Liona would have to make due for now. James walked over to the right wondering how Jacob and Kage were holding up before dismissing the thought. It would do no good worrying about them right now, they were two of the strongest in their year group after all. "Ready whenever you guys are, I guess.."

{Alvin, Lana, & Tyron}

The bulk of the grunts continued charging forward. However, upon reaching the horseshoe they found that they could only fit in about three Pokemon to every one of the Ymora Academy team's! "Shit..." one of them muttered. "Our advantage is being compromised!" However, the majority of the group was battle-hungry, and after seeing the relatively small group there was no stopping the onrush.

Two grunts engaged Alvin. One controlled a Klang and a Magnemite, while the other possessed only a Magneton. The Bug-type expert sneered as he quickly threw two Net Balls into the hallway. They burst open, revealing his Heracross and a Shedinja. "Hera, do all the work. Espiritu, disappear!" Hera obliged and rushed her opponents, launching a vicious Arm Thrust attack that was difficult to avoid in the relatively narrow hallway. It connected with the Magneton, doing substantial damage and driving the others back before they could launch an attack. "Now, Phantom Force!" The Shedinja appeared behind the Magneton, finishing it off. However, the moment it was defeated, another creep with an Elgyem took his place. The newly revitalized creep squad then prepared to launch another attack!

Lana found herself having an easy time, barely breaking a sweat as Rhy one-shotted most of his opponents with a hearty Bulldoze attack. However, at the rate the grunts were replacing themselves it seemed as though Rhy might tire out before help arrived.

Tyron laughed to himself as he controlled half the surface area of the tunnel, his Aggron shrugging off attacks from the creeps' laughably weak attacks and using his claws and tail to sweep opponents out of his way. Although the students were battling seriously, if one or two of them were defeated it was likely Tyron would still be able to hold the tunnel. Any more than that and he would conceivably be overwhelmed.

{Jacob, Kage, Bart & 'Ms. Bad Bitch'}

"Bart, I'm so glad to see you here. I'm surprised those lame-ass goons didn't jump you," the young woman said sarcastically. Bart glared at her, drawing a surprising silence from his sister.

"Really not the time, Marie," he said dryly. Upon arriving, the four Trainers found themselves at the back of the creep group. Most of them had their attention faced forward. However, as they grew closer more grunts noticed them and began to attack. Bart and his sister looked to each other, beginning to devise a plan.

"Jacob, Kage, and I will take the right side, while you and your little boy-toy there-"

"Take the left side~" Marie finished in a singsong. Her Serperior snapped in front of her like a whip as several Pokemon approached, her tail glowing blue as she slammed them all backward into the crowd. "Looks like there's about forty of these poorly-dressed assholes." She gave their armor a judging gaze. "Tacky," she decided. "You're all tacky and I hate you." With that, her Serperior began laying into the crowd, making short work of the grunts she came across.

Bart sighed. "Yeah, sure." He turned to the younger students. "Look, there's about forty, like Marie said. We can each take down ten or eleven before our Pokemon start to wear out, which leaves you each with a half dozen." His Infernape caught an incoming Magnet Bomb that was headed for Bart before throwing it back into the crowd, knocking the Grunt that had ordered the attack on the ground. With that said and done, Bart turned his attention to the crowd.

"But you each probably have six-" Jacob began before realizing neither of the upperclassmen was paying attention anymore. He sighed, shook his head, and turned to Spitfyre. He pressed the button on Teo and Arete's balls, preparing them to head into the fray. He decided to completely ignore Kage and smiled with a shit-eating grin. "Alright chums, time's up, let's do this." He took a deep breath as Spitfyre faceclawed. "LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.... MMMMMMMMMMJEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSSSSS!"

The first grunt Jacob encountered had with him a Metang and two Klinks. Using a double Incinerate from Spitfyre and Arete as well as a Sand Tomb attack from Teo, he was able to begin making his way into the crowd.

A grunt charged Kage with an Elgyem, which, to Kage's surprise, launched a Shadow Ball attack at Lucas.

A second grunt charged Mareek with a Metang and a Klang. The Metang rushed Erce, using Metal Claw to engage at close range while the Klang attempted to use Gear Grind against Nemo.

{James}

The grunt that approached James had three Pokemon: a Klang, a Magnemite, and a Klink. The Klang and Klink both attempted to use Gear Grind on Shade, while the Magnemite fired a Shock Wave at Liona.

{Robert}

Since Robert was so close to Tyron, only two Pokemon at a time were able to approach him. However, the first pair of grunts came on strong with a pair of Klangs. One used Wild Charge and the other used Gear Grind as they charged for Kiai.

{Slade}

Two grunts approached Slade with a Klang, Magneton, and Elgyem. While the Klang moved forward with a Gear Grind attack, the Magneton fired a Flash Cannon at Xemnas while the Elgyem prepared a Confusion attack to hit Sasuke.

{Claude}

Unfortunately for Lancelot, he was pretty badly outnumbered. Luckily, one very silly creep had decided it would be a good idea to use two Elgyems against an Escavalier. However, his partner was not so "gifted" and attacked full-force with a Thunderbolt attack from his Porygon.

Mareek assessed the whole situation while the enemy closed in. Nemo would probably be able to make short work of the two; he might have been pathetic up against enemies that had the advantage of better typing, but the fighter was in his own court now... and He wasn't exactly the same as he'd once been on top of that, that much had been proven to Mareek more than enough over the past few days. Then there was Erce... she wouldn't be as useful here, but she could provide one hell of a support to the ground type to make up for it... right now though, there was no point giving orders. They were already responding of their own initiative, they already knew how to handle it. And so the red head just watched, watched and waited...

Nemo moved quickly, his entire body charged with a hot, white aura as he reached within himself, within his own soul and called upon the power of his mother, on the power of all those ancestors who had come before him, his tiny yet mighty form charged forward as the two projectiles closed in, feeling the strength of the dead flowing through him and apparently not caring that he was moving closer to the danger. Then without a single bit of warning, the young Swordsman lashed his arm out in a quick, furious arc. A blue length of energy emerged from his palm, hard as steel as he adeptly swung his blade and connected with both gears simultaneously, sending his adversary's attack flying on a new path before eventually finding their home in the nearest wall.

He snarled at the Steel Type as he again pounced, unleashing a quick flurry of four additional, hard strokes of his construct at the Klank as he closed in...

Meanwhile, Erce stayed fixed to her spot as the Metang charged. But she was gone in a blur the minute it got close enough to strike, leaving the steel type to hit nothing but empty air as six identical copies of his target encircled it, claws blazing a sickly green as they each closed the circle inwards at the same time, slashing and tearing at the air with blinding speed, though as to which one was more than a mere illusion, only the Mantis and her trainer would have any inkling...

"Kiai, Force Palm!" Kiai charged up the whitish-glow in his palm, targetting the Klang using Gear Grind while still having to take both attacks. Out of reflex he grabbed and let out the closest pokeball to his hand, which ended up being Voltage, who looked around only for Robert to get his attention as quick as he could.

"Voltage, Low Kick one of the Klangs!" Robert says focused, the Elekid grinning reciting his cry and running at the opponent to kick one of them. He didn't know what was going on yet, but from what he saw it wasn't any time to question an order.

"Xemnas, knock that magneton into klink by using dig on the side of the tunnel! Sasuke double team into lick on the Elgyem!" Slade spoke as the two made their assault. Xemnas went under ground to avoid the attacks by the two Steel types and made his way to the side of the tunnel and burst out aiming to hit the magneton into the klink. Sasuke on the other hand created six clones using double team, surrounding the the psychic type pokemon. All of them then jumped toward the trapped pokemon whipping their tongues at it, though only one would do damage.

James almost snickered at how easy it would be for Shade to dodge that, the same couldn't be said for Liona though as Shock Wave was a move that always hit on target if used correctly. "Liona counter that Shock Wave with your own, retaliate with Incinerate afterwards." No commands where needed for Shade as the ghost type simply slipped into one of the shadows before reappearing behind the 2 mechanical pokemon and creating orbs of blue fire that surrounded and encircled him before firing them at the Klank. The Magnemite's Shock Wave got neutralized by Liona's after which flurry of flames started surrounding Magnemite threatening to burn it .

Kage cursed profusely and quite audibly at Jacob ignoring him and subsequently charging in heedlessly. It didn't help when he had a type disadvantage against most of his opponents' Pokemon, either. The incoming Shadow Ball would have worried all of his Pokemon. "Lucas, dodge towards it and hit with Draining Kiss!" He would have preferred Lucas staying at a distance, but he needed to KO this opponent as quickly as possible.

((Terribly sorry for the late reply, especially seeing as I'm meant to be a co-host))

Claude grimaced, unsure as to what to do. Mareek had proven that Porygons could be dangerous as all hell and general knowledge meant Lance couldn't hurt it before it hurt him. Furthermore, the Elgyem could provide support if left unchecked, even if Claude had the type advantage he didn't like that. So naturally the choice was to eliminate the numbers advantage right now.

"Lancelot, Ride through the storm! Twin needle, eliminate the Elgyems!" Lance rushed forward, taking the thunderbolt head on. Lance did not flinch though and systematically jabbed at the closest Elgyem, though his speed seemed far slower, even for his species.

((No worries. King of the late replies over here.))

{Jacob}

Jacob began knocking grunts aside, setting his pace even with the rest of the people in his group. The next grunt in front of him sent out an Elgyem and a Magneton, which were easily dispatched with another similar joint effort from the three of his Pokemon. It seemed as though most super-effective attacks were able to easily knock out the enemies' Pokemon. This is weird, he thought to himself. These Pokemon are using moves that are as powerful as their levels, but their defenses are weaker. It's almost as if they didn't get their experience from battling, he contemplated.

{Mareek}

The Marowak's vicious assault easily took down the Klang. However, Erce's attack proved to be less effective. The Metang recoiled from the X-Scissor but shook it off, rushing back in with Metal Claw and beginning to attack the clones with reckless abandon, not seeming to realize what they were. Another costumed creep filled in and sent out a Porygon and an Elgyem against Nemo. The Porygon fired a tri-colored beam while the Elgyem used a Psybeam attack.

{Robert}

Kiai's attack struck home and the Klang was sent flying into the wall, where it stayed stuck. The other one, however, didn't seem overly bothered by the Elekid's attack. In fact, it seemed more pissed off than anything else. It fired a Charge Beam attack directly at the small Electric-type, beginning to glow brightly. Another creep approached with a Metang, launching a Zen Headbutt attack against the Lucario.

{Tyron}

The teacher noticed the student next to him struggling against his opponent's Klang and reached into his pocket. He pulled out his cell phone and ripped the Cell Battery out of the back, tossing it to the rookie Trainer. "Use this to put your Elekid at the same level as these enemies' Pokemon. After all, he hasn't had the same training as your Lucario!" He then resumed battling against the unknown attackers. Finally, some action! he thought to himself. Although Professor Cadmus wouldn't approve of me saying that in front of the students.

{Slade}

The Magneton managed to hang on even after the Dig attack thanks to its Sturdy ability. However, once it hit the Klink it was knocked out by the collision. The small gear Pokemon was knocked off course, momentarily stunned. The Elgyem, however, took almost no damage from the Lick. It retaliated with a Headbutt attack to the frog Pokemon's solar plexus, causing it to be temporarily stunned and unable to move. Another creep came in, although luckily for Slade he only had a Magnemite. Unluckily for Slade, that Magnemite began using Lock-On! If he didn't act quickly, it would probably use some kind of super powerful Electric type attack on Sasuke!

{James}

Shade's Will-o-Wisp attack was successful. However, he left himself open to a Gear Grind from the Klang, taking moderate damage. Liona's Incinerate attack had more than just the intended effect of making Magnemite faint- it also managed to knock out the Klink that had been attacking. Another guy in that weird armor came up with a pair of Balls and threw them, releasing a pair of Elgyems that fired dual Psybeams at Liona.

{Bart}

On his way past Kage toward another creep, the upperclassman wordlessly tossed a pair of Hyper Potions at Kage. It was clear that he was meant to get his Pokemon in fighting condition while Lucas took care of the Elgyem.

{Kage}

The Elgyem took damage from the Draining Kiss, but wasn't KO'd. In a panic it forgot to use Shadow Ball and instead used Shock Wave, not following its Trainer's orders.

{Claude}

Claude was, in fact, wrong in his diagnosis and his Escavalier was not actually paralyzed. However, he had taken a bit of damage. How silly would that be, after all, to get paralyzed at the beginning of a sort of wave survival! Right? RIGHT? RIGHT?!?!? Both Elgyems were cleanly KO'd by the Twin Needle attack. Another creep approached, but began fumbling with his Poke Balls. Something seemed to be wrong with the clip. When he tried jiggling the belt, he accidentally undid the front clasp, causing his pants to fall down! He blushed profusely and quickly picked up his pants, mumbling something about it being cold out before awkwardly shuffling away. The guy with the Porygon smacked his forehead. Why me, Arceus? Why me? he thought. He then ordered his Porygon to use another Thunderbolt attack, hoping to at least whittle the behemoth Bug's health for the wave of creeps behind him.

Sasuke took little to no actual damage from the headbutt due to the effect of protean turning him into a ghost-type. Even the stun from the hit was a facade he put up to leave the enemy off guard. Seeing what the magnemite was plotting, since he has one himself, he used his quick thinking. "Xemnas protect Sasuke, grab hold of that magnemite with your jaws then use it as a shield!" Slade also did a small hand signal to Sasuke telling him to use grass knot on the Elgyem. He preform the signal very silently, he just crossed his fingers in his right hand and looked at the Elgyem. One could notice if one was paying attention to Slades hand which was by his side at that moment. The small dragon leaped at the floating Steel-type pokemon attempting to grab it with a bit attack then use it as a meat shield, well more like a metal shield, to protect Sasuke. Which, assuming all goes according to plan, the Elgyem would have to go through his teammate's magnemite and Xemnas in order to get to Sasuke, who was pretending regaining his bearings after being stunned by the attack and secretly controlling a grass knot under Elgyem. Though the attack would come slower then usual since he wasn't fully focusing on the attack, so the psychic-type would have to act fast in order to not be affected by it..

"Take the attack and slam it with another Draining Kiss," Kage ordered. From the feedback Lucas gave him, the attack would probably KO the Elgyem. "After that, set up another Calm Mind." He was still mentally assessing the state of the battle and the health of his Pokemon. A few more minutes would have to do for rest; hopefully they didn't try to gang up on him in the meantime.

"keep up the assault Lancelot! Twin Needle again" Claude ordered with a serious tone. Unless one was looking at him one would not know of the bemused smile he had after the creeps wardrobe malfunction.

Lance obliged his trainer, flying at the Porygon with two powerful lunges, the lances tipped with what looked ominously like poison...

((Btw, I used the Wheel thing for Tbolt, which is why I para'd Lance. I figured it didn't matter anyway,, his speed is low enough as is.))
