"Why must we leave? Has something happened?" Roy asked the the cop woman. If she did ask them to leave, she could at least tell them why.

((Red, in the future if you wish to show Reds thoughts I suggest something like "this is insane! Red thought to herself", rather than just declaring it))

"If you would please bear with us a few moments longer dear, I will try to answer your questions as best as I may." Anna promised with a thousand watt smile. "And what do you mean, Setsuna? What issue are you referring to?"

KriMurdoc (Hey, we got another power duo going with the names)

"Thank you for your patronage, I'll show you where the exhibit is and then leave you to it." The employee said. The two were led to the exhibit, a glass case which bore an old, weathered sword with a simple hilt. The only semblance of extravagance that would indicate it's owners status was the inscription on the blade. "Galatine" and the fact that even with age, the high quality iron still shone, reflecting the light despite it's years.

There was a panel next to the case, discussing the sword, as is usual with museums.

This sword, due to the inscription on the blade, is believed to have been the sword of the famous knight Gawain, Knight of the Round table and nephew to King Arthur. The Knights of the Round table were seen as the protectors of the realm, serving as Arthurs companions in protecting England and also bringing Justice to those they saw deserved it.

"I'm afraid that is not information available to the public" Flagstarr replied with the stock answer. "It's better for everyone, yourselves included, if you just leave."

"Charles? I may have seen him." He responded to Robert. Ayatane was willing to overlook Deans blunt manner but even he was only so patient... The old mans eyes took on a sparkle. "Buy a couple of packs of Mechmania and I may remember something" He grinned a small coy grin, he knew full well that this was hardly a bribe...

"Right, well, I've heard from a fellow student that you had a strange experience yesterday, something about blacking out and waking up in the garde? Please correct me if I'm wrong." Klive questioned, brushing past the offer to introduce xyrself.

The man laughed a low, throaty chuckle. This girl was entertaining. "What reason do I have to reveal my identity to you girl? No, you will not get any information from me. Rather, I will be using you for my own purposes..." The man began taking steps forward, blocking Monikas closest exit.

Charlotte stopped breathing for a few seconds when she saw what Anna had just done....was she some kind of psychic or something...she took a step backwards wearily. She had personally never believed that cards could have supernatural properties but this.....this shouldnt be possible but it had just happened in front of her own eyes. "H-how can you even do this...?"

I probably should have asked something different... The fact that I just wanted to see if this man was Ayatane or someone else would have been less obvious. Monika thought, replying to the man afterwards. "Can I just ask you if you have already seen me? Do you know who I am?"

Of course, that place and this man just made her more nervous... And because of this, more impulsive. She had promised to herself that morning that she would have been more careful and less instinctive, but it didn't last long.

Monika then noticed a preoccupying detail. I can't excape from here... There is no way. Unless I actually start using my brain. she told herself, waiting for another word, or action, from the man, while standing still in the centre of the alleyway. If that was going to be her end, that would have been partially her fault, so be it.

Dean sighed, threw down some money, praying the owner will remember something " I take 5, please?" AFTER GETTING TO THE PACKS He tore open the packs and his special pulls was gem-knight pearl,2 cyber dragons, and googly eyes drum dragon. His reaction was "Hm, decent, gem knight pearl and the cyber dragons can find their way in the deck, if i clear out some seemly some unnecessary cards. He turned over head to say "Yo, Robert, you done yet?" After that, he pulled out his deck, both main and extra. He switched the cards in the deck around to find a way to fit in the cards.

Robert smiled eagerly as he passed over the money for five packs of his own, a face of glee as he received them and opened them. His pulls put the figuritive gears in his head into motion as he opened them. 'Ooh, this will work great once I adjust my deck. Another one of this to have, that'll be great! Maybe this one too?' He was finally snapped out his his thoughts as Dean talked. "Oh, uh yeah I guess."

He put his new cards away for later deck-tuning and turned back to Mr. Takeda with a thankful smile. "Thank you for the packs sir. And you did say that you 'may' know something about Charles? If you did have anything you'd share with us, that would be amazing."

"Earlier today, you alluded to weird occurrences in the area such as people with large chunks of missing memory, the appearance of mysterious cards, which I can only assume you mean the Numbers Cards, and of course your very own circumstances."

Setsuna tapped her finger on the table as she spoke. "So, let's start with the most important one: the death of the Professor. That is what ended up causing us to start looking into these things. Do you know what happened and is there any connection to all of this?"

"Wait, Wait, wait" Red though to herself, more people have had memory loss or have I told to many?" Red watched as her fellow classmate started questioning Anna. "Why is Anna now wanting to talk to us about these occurrences?, Red said to herself the more Setsuna spoke.

"And to add to Setsuna's questions, why are you telling us now? "

Anna smiled her little enigmatic smile. "You ask questions that I don't know the answers to. The only one I can answer is Miss Reds. You see, it was when Lane brought his own Number that a tale relating to ancient Egypt occurred to me. To be frank, this was as much confirming it for myself as it was a revelation for you all."

Cyaloom.

"There's a good girl, don't you scream for help." as the man came closer, his appearance became more visible, though not much. just sticking out from beneath a broad-rimmed black hat was a long hooked nose and a sinister smile at how easy it was being to abduct this girl. "You will help me force one of the others hand, I'm sure of it..."

Ayatane sorted the various bits of currency into the according slot into the register as he spoke, smiling at their good-willed compliance. "Well, I do recall Charles saying he was going to meet someone at the beach earlier today... Although, he had a rather grim air abut him. I wish I could help the young man..."

Dean exclaimed "Wait, what happened but if we were go the beach to find out. I'm praying he is there, he holds possibly important info for us." He turned Robert "Anyways, looks like we will be sidetracked for bit. Off the beach!" He hopped onto his skateboard without a helmet and went off to the beach.

Important Action

That was the moment when the man, who Monika was sure she had never met before, became more visible. That man was wearing a broad-rimmed black hat, and had this long hooked nose; qualifying him as some kind of "crazy maniac". He still was smiling and acting "maniacally" but now his intentions were more clear. He wanted to kidnap Monika for some reason she couldn't explain.

What did I do that makes him want to kidnap me? Does this man know Ayatane, as he was in the same alleyway where I met him? Is he related with Number cards at all? she asked herself, regretting to have entered that alleyway alone. Setsuna wanted her to go with Lane, but he didn't come because of a certain meeting with Mrs Anna (the current teacher) and left Monika on her own... and she didn't wait for him, of course. She totally didn't expect that, although she should have expected that.

As the man wanted to keep her as a hostage, he wanted, most probably, to make someone involved with Number cards come there, like Lane. Also, seeing as he was occupied, Monika came to the conclusion that, if really needed, she could have called someone else or the Police: if the man wanted other people to come, he would have, most probably, allowed Monika to call them. And if he wanted Lane there... he could either try to get more informations about them, or do something else... This was an idea that came istinctively into Monika's mind, as she remembered Lane's words during the launch break: "After I won the duel I tried to help him, but somehow this card transferred to me. And since my opponent seemed afraid of Utopia at first, I figured it would be best to keep Acid Golem."

What if this weird guy "fell into darkness" (using Ayatane's words) and now is trying to get Lane's (or someone else's) number cards?

Monika couldn't excape, so the only thing that was left to do was trying to talk with this guy - almost impossible. Also, as she thought it was her fault to have been involved in that sticky situation, she tried to think of ways to come out of that alone.

She only knew one thing for sure: that weird man coming slowly, but relentlessly, at her...

Monika kept standing still, getting ready for every eventuality.

Gawyn's breath caught in his throat. "Galatin....said to be the most powerful of the swords in pure strength. During midday, it was said that the wielder had the strength of 10 men, but as day turned to night, it's power waned." he said. "The card of course holds true to this in it's effect and is even pictured being wielded by Gawain. I wonder which part of England it was found in?"

{Beach Group}

Arthur sighed. Frickin' police always getting in the way of the real investigation, he thought to himself. Then, he got an idea. He looked down at his D-Pad and opened his conversation with Zander. He tapped out a quick message.

"Brb, distracting this pig."

Suddenly, Arthur dashed off behind the policewoman in an attempt to draw her away from the rest of the group.

[Chevaleresse]

"I would guess somewhere associated with the legend? Maybe near a landmark said to be visited by Gawain." Blair thought for a moment. "You know, Gawain sounds almost exactly like a character in a book I read once. The author probably took more than a little inspiration from this." She still wondered what had prompted the professor to come here, but it was nice to talk, I guess. "I don't suppose you've read the Wheel of Time series?"

[Red_Chaos]

[Anna/Group]

"Bullshit, she knows more then she is letting on with that damn smile of hers", Red thought to herself as Anna finished. "So, then will you please explain how these cards are tied in with the story?"

[Hiss13]

[[Anna/Important Action]]

"Wait…confirming? What did exactly did you confirm?" Setsuna sighed. "Moreover, what do you know with regards to the things I mentioned earlier? If I simply ask you one-by-one, it will take you too long. So, then…why don't you just divulge everything you know?"

Gen went back to the classroom, only to realize Monika wasn't there.

"She went off by herself? Crap! Gotta find her!"

He ran off to find Monika.

"Damn idiot." Zander cursed under his breath as Arthur began running past the police officer. "I was going to shove a wad of cash under her nose and see if he'd be willing to let us by. Whatever, might as well take advantage of this situation." Zander paused before running off in the opposite direction of Arthur. "Come on guys!" Zander screamed back at the students still at the entrance. "Ike Johnson awaits!"

Will frowned inwardly but maintained the jovial smile on his face. This student was rather impertinent, wasn't he? Or she? The janitor shrugged off the though. "Why, yes. I was in the garden. But I don't know much more than that. I saw a classmate of yours there, too." He paused, thinking on the student's question a bit. "Though, I would like to correct that I don't recall blacking out. My memory just... ends at a certain point."

{Beach Group}

A loud rumbling could be heard getting closer and closer as Zander, Arthur, Ken and Roy attempted to get past Officer Flagstarr. Then, out of the blue, a white scooter carrying two students zoomed past the entrance, kicking up a cloud of sand as it roared by the group. If they listened closely, they could probably hear Arial screaming "El O el! Too slow!"

While that might irked the stern police officer, that cloud does provide a good cover for Zander and the others to make their escape now...

(Beach group) Important Action - Start Exploring the Beach

"Woooooooooooah!" Rene screamed at the top of his lungs when Arial decided to ride onto the beach with her scooter when it created a cloud of sand for the others to escape. Clearly he wasn't expecting Arial to dash in, but he knew the importance of getting onto the beach was much higher than just trying to wait it out. Rene knew that Lisa had mentioned that the archaeologist should have been here today and that was what he was hoping to see. While he was still on the scooter, he could Arial screaming, perhaps playfully taunting, at the others. Rene didn't say anything to it, but when he came to a stop he tried to regroup himself. He then said aloud, "I...wasn't expecting that..."

Rene spent the next moments taking a few deep breaths to calm himself down. When he actually collected himself, he took a quick view of the sand around him and not when may have been in front of him. For a moment, it took him to the last time he visited a beach...He quickly smiled before coming back to his senses and wanting to start exploring the beach and seeing what was going on.

OOC: I'll explain more about Rene's last visit to a beach either later or in my next post.

Paul got off the bus and stood before the city museum. Something seemed to be calling him here, whether it was the dream he had while he was asleep in class or the nightmare he had while he was wide awake, he couldn't tell. All he knew is that there was a certain exhibit he should check into.

He made his way through the double doors and paid the fee to get inside. As he was exploring the halls, nostalgia drifted through his thoughts. He'd come here every once and a while with his parents and Sylvia, usually when a new exhibit rolled in. He was also usually bored out of his mind whenever they paid a visit to this place, however there would always be that one exhibit that he'd enjoy. He was hoping that would be the one he was here for...

As he turned a corner, he saw one of his fellow students, Blair, was it? She was accompanied by one of the teachers from his school, unfortunately it was one of the ones he never had so he couldn't think of his name. He approached the two of them with a greeting.

"Hey, fancy meeting you guys here."

"The Wheel of Time? Yes, I've read it. I think using the whole One Power thing to really define magic and how prominent a role it played in the story was one of the best parts, and I especially enjoyed the ending. Quite the plot twist. The character your thinking of is probably Gawyn, with how similar the names are, and I suppose how identical it is to my own." said Gawyn with a smile. Then another student walked up and said hello. "Hello....err...I don't think I've ever had you in class before. I'm Professor Falas, or just Gawyn. Here to see the new exhibit? It's quite fascinating."

Robert's face showed remorse as Mr. Takeda described Charles's own attitude, still holding as much of a thankful smile as he could. "Well, thank you for that Mr. Takeda. We'll try to help cheer him up when we find him if we can." He turns around with a goodbye to him, turning to Dean as they begin to leave.

"Yep, to the beach then." After exiting the shop, Robert hopped on his bike and began heading towards the beach.

"i'm afraid I've told you all I can." When Anna next started to speak, she locked eyes with each of the students as they glowed with a soft golden light. "You should be thankful I've even told you this much" She said with a magnanimous smile. "Now, I suggest you all run off and get to your various tasks." Now the glow was gone and none of the students would be the wiser.

Cyaloom

The figures smile drooped a little. She could have at least tried to put up a fight, scream a little. At least it'll make the job easier The figure thought to himself glumly. He took a rag from his pocket and smothered Monikas mouth with it, the overpowering scent of chloroform worming into Monikas nostrils and clouding her thoughts. The girl slumped in the mans arms. He chuckled a little and then stuffed the girl into a duffel bag, exiting the alleyway with none suspecting that there may be an abducted girl within.

Flagstarr wasted no time calling for help from her fellow officers. She immediately set off after Arthur. Her athletic ability and stamina far exceeded Arthur and it wasn't long before she caught up and tackled Arthur to the ground. Two more officers quickly apprehended Zander in a similar fashion, pressing him to the floor with their weight. The two who had not moved, Ken and Roy, were met with no physical force but one officer made it a point to stick behind and watch them as the rest of the officers tried to catch up to Arial and Rene. The two made it far enough to see a team of men and women in white coats taking pictures of what could be nothing other than a crime scene, though the body was left inexplicably missing. However, that was all they could see before a police officer leapt in front of the scooter and yanked the two off of it, sending the vehicle rolling past to crash into a sand dune.

The police rounded up the kids back to where Ken and Roy were, Flagstarr had a furious expression on her face though she spoke deathly quiet, trying to conceal her rage at these children. "What on earth are you kids thinking?!"
