Eh, sorry for not having anything up yet. I'm the type of person that when it comes to these things, I pin the song down to the point I get a pretty good visual of it in my head. I can't promise something tonight, but I'll have my post up and finished before Saturday.

@strat you got a couple typos and grammatical misses in your post, just thought I'd point that out.

No one likes a grammer nazi...

Well I've already looked it over three times since it's been posted and tried to take care of any errors and typos and whatnot. But honestly, is the grammar itself really as absolutely crucial to the piece's existence as what the words that have been penned convey, so long as one can still read and understand them? Because I personally can't spot anymore in there than I already have. And honestly no one in the world has perfect grammar all the time every time anymore...at least not in the English language

I mean, if there's really still more/ the grammar is such an issue, I guess I can always go and ask a professional writer; have my Published AP English teacher look it over...

Please, don't get me wrong here, not trying to be a snarky dick or anything. I know you're trying to help, but honestly... well I've already gone through it 3 times XD.((And caught a few more things I didn't the last time and fixed them.))

That and the fact that I don't know Grammar even to save my life....XD ((I'm legit serious, either I've forgotten all of those overly complex rules except for the most basic ones, or they simply just weren't taught to us at all as little shits when they should've been...))

And I'd also like to point out the fact that it was rather late at night when I even started writing it...hence why there were so many typos in the first place.

It's not exactly crucial, but I just thought I'd point it out. It was the first non-content-related thing that jumped out at me, and I'm keeping my content-related impressions of the audition to myself, as they will affect some future events.

... Wait, what kind of signature are we doing? The kind that you write with your pen, or the one on the forums...? o_o

And uh, any problems with my post...?

Why are we talking about signatures? Did I miss something?

Also, any problems or issues with my post?

Potential participants should start thinking up a signature for their character. The immediate first event after the selection will be a contract signing.

Your signature should be easy to draw, but also unique and distinctive. It can be in English, or it can be in any other language, so long as it still has your character's name(e.g. Kagari's sign is in English). While unnecessary, it is common practice to add embellishments such as tiny hearts or flowers. Please take the time to think about it and draw it out on paper/in paint. I'll be asking for a .jpg sample of the signature when selections end.

Not sure whether to attempt writing it in kanji because I sort of mashed a few names together and I can't write kanji.

Precisely why I decided to go with a European name for this instead of a japanese one...

Not sure whether to attempt writing it in kanji because I sort of mashed a few names together and I can't write kanji.

It depends on the feel you're going for. In Japan, different idols use different writing systems for their signs.

Hiragana gives off a "cute" impression, with its myriad of curves and how it lends itself to having hearts included in the cursive.

Katakana gives off an edgier feel because of the sharpness of the system and the many straight lines.

Romaji is used to give off a mature or sexy feel, as cursive romaji has the appearance of being sophisticated.

Kanji is rarely used, because it suggests that an idol is straight-laced or old-fashioned, which is often detrimental ti their image. However, kanji is often used in conjunction with hiragana or katakana, as its pictorial nature lends itself to stylization.

Idols can take weeks to months just to create and perfect their signs, but of course I'm not expecting that level of sign. Just a simple, distinctive one will be fine. Keep in mind that it should be easy and fast to draw.

I'm pretty sure mine fits all that. Would an idol be fired for having bad hand writing?

Have you seen celebrity autographs? I highly doubt something like that would be the reason for being fired. Actually, they'd probably use something like that to increase your popularity by exaggerating it.

writing the signature is no problem for me its just getting it to Acqui is the problem. My camera on my phone isn't working so i can't take a picture with it, and trying to write it in paint would not work since i can't write with a mouse that well.
