Ghost-Gym-Leader (unofficially) confirmed??? Well, we are going to publicly reveal the gym leaders soon-ish, so just wait and see... Although, we are quite sadistic, so we won't officially reveal the types in hich they specialize, but you can always try and guess Alright, so I just found this (don't ask how it's taken this long, I don't know either) and I haven't read much of the thread but on the topic of fossil pokemon, are you going to use some of the extinct Australian megafauna as a basis? 'Cause I'm not gonna lie, that'd be damn cool. Thylacine is another option I guess. This is a good thing as Australia is well renowned for it's desert life. It's a shame I didn't get here sooner, I could probably have really helped with concept designs seeing as I'm familiar with more than just our famous fauna. Still, if for some reason you have any questions about Australian stuff feel free to PM. Some of these things will be in, some won't, some will but with elements from other animals/plants/mythological creatures. Our Pokedex is going to be EXTREMELY diverse, with the desert area I mentioned earlier, a jungle area with things like the Tasmanian devil, and even a location akin to Seafoam Island from RBY, where multiple Ice-type Pokemon will reside! However, we would like you to keep in mind a coupld of facts before we do: 1) We are not going to reveal which type is used by each gym leader. You can try to guess from the leader's theme, but don't expect any explicit comment on this regard from us. There shall be no exceptions to this. 2) The order in which the gym leaders will be announced isn't necessarily the same as the order in which they will be fought in the game. Ladies and gentlemen please give it up for Gale, the first Graterras gym leader to be officially revealed! Gale: Woah woah woah now, what do you think you are doing here? I am Lead Technician Gale, and I am in charge of the mantainance of Kupolis Power Plant: access to this area is strictly reserved to technical personnel, so if you don't have business here I must ask you to leave! Well he surely seems to be the serious type, but he looks young for a guy who is in charge of such an important facility...Gale: W-well, I guess you could say that. After all, I was offered a job at the plant as soon as I finished my studies at university, and it didn't take long to me to climb up the ranks all the way to the top... And you know why? Because I am committed! In life, you need to be committed to your career if you want to achieve a good position: remember, having a safe job that can support your lifestyle for many years is much better than striking gold out of a sudden, only to lose everything again... I put all my efforts into achieving this position, and even now I am as committed as ever, you cannot allow yourself to relax and slack off if you want to make it to the top AND to stay at the top: and that goes double for my role as gym leader, so yeah, even if I respect the commitment all the challengers put in their careers as Pokemon trainers, don't expect me to go easy on them! After all, if you really are committed, you gotta be able to overcome adversities of all kind... That was surely an inspirational speech for all the youngsters out there who are procrastinating their studies to spend time on this forum: anything else our gym leader wishes to add?Gale: Let's see... And yes ideally there will be one new gym battle per episode, however do keep in mind that we are following the traditional pattern of 8 gym leaders per region, and Graterras is quite big, with a (relatively) complex plot that will include multiple events for every location, including minor towns... So yeah, gym-less episodes will also be a possibility, although we will do our best to keep those at a minimum...
