Ok people, here comes a major announcement: the beta for the first episode is here.

We shall NOT release it to the public for now, because there are still many things to fix (most notably, the mere act of using the Pokedex crashes the game, for reasons currently under investigation), however, we will make sure to do our best in the beta testing phase and, if everything goes as planned (and Azery doesn't slack off), the full version of Episode 1 will be out one week from now, give or take a couple of days.

Red_Chaos and Cepheus have been selected as the representatives of the general public, who will join us in the testing phase, so please congratulate them. To be honest, Cepheus has disappeared (apparently he is playing recently released videogames) so yeah, should we need one extra tester, we will let you people know. For now however things are fine as they are.

Your patient wait and your loyalty to this project are about to be rewarded! Plese keep on supporting us like you have done up to this point!

Update: the first version of the beta was throughly analyzed, the major bugs found and fixed, and a version 1.1 was made. Now we are currently going through the major and minor bugs of that, which means a version 1.2 will probably see the light by the end of the day.

Since I know that what you guys want to know is when YOU will get to play it, let me put it in these terms: 1.0 wasn't really playable, and 1.1, while without doubts a major improvement, still has a couple of problems that hurt playability. 1.2 should be playable enough, but since we are perfectionists, we probably won't release it untill we are sure that any and all bugs that can ruin your experience, including those in remote areas that most of you won't even visit, are out of the way.

I can't wait to play this. I'll have to wait until exams are over (which will be a little bit after the release) but this is great news!

You have a great team and it is going to be a great game!

Good work guys!

I've been lurking about and looking forward to playing this. I swear my rejuvenation run is doomed to never be finished, every time I start playing I get a new game I wanna play more. I've just picked it up again it it looks a lot like Se7en will be that game!

Either way, the hype is real. Keep up the good work locating and fixing all the bugs!

Hi people! while the beta is just around the corner, I thought this would be a good moment to sneak and introduce another pokemon to y'all

_114_clovery_by_zimvader42-d9gtltv.png

This little thing is called Clovery, and is a DARK/STEEL type, which as you know, is only currently shared by Pawniard and Bisharp in the canon games, making it quite rare. This pokémon and its whole evolutionary family are based on the suits on french playing-cards (the ones you usually use when playing poker).

Having the abilities Rattled and Oblivious, it is quite hard to defeat it with ghost and bug types, and even dark types have a bad time against it, and good luck taunting it. And no, miltank can't use attract either. Although there are no miltanks in graterras but you get the point.

Cloveries split in different forms when they get to their final stage, but the most curious detail about this pokémon is the fact that, for the first time (in forever), a regular gendered pokemon can evolve into a genderless form, making it quite an unique pokemon.

So well, that was all, and expect a playable beta /soon/ !

Sadly, this little fella won't be available for a while in the game, but it is one of Zim's (many) pet projects, so it was important for him to announce it... And sure enough, this line is a rather interesting one. Can't wait to see how many people will figure out how to get it to evolve, into what, and how to make the most of the evo they do get...

inb4 you have to get a deck of cards IRL, set up a webcam or a camera connected to your computer and have to match the pattern that is on it's design. If you fail, you get a horrible evo, but if you succeed you get the OP evo.

If we actually had any idea of how to code this, it would be hilarious...
