Too late I memorized it.

btw: another spoiler

In one of the older threads, it has Jericho's pokemon which is also implemented in Se7en. I'm taking about the Ice creature.

This wasn't part of the plan :/

Yeah I see what you mean, I found that one too. I'm just going to stop looking these things up cause it kinda takes away some of the magic of it, ya know?

On the other hand. I'll finally be able to play Se7en tomorrow at some point, so that's certainly a plus!

YOU STILL CAN"T GET ME TO UNBLOCK EVERYBODY"S SIGS

Wait, so you have signatures blocked? does that mean you haven't yet seen Catherine's signature with all its spoilery spoilerinos?

You can always unblock, see, and then block again :I

wow it's been a while since I posted something here... (due to my 2 weeks abscence and other stuff)

soooo, now let me totally overanalyze this little Chest-buster parasite in a totally wrong way

Name: Xenova

obviously from the Alien term "Xenomorph" and "Xeno" could be a part of it's name for all evolution(s)

Appearance:

Worm-like parasite with a few spikes

I actually thought it would be part Bug-Type before reading

I think it will grow up to be an Alien-Xenomorph-like creature in the end like in the movies

(since you mentioned its influence)

Typing:

Poison

I think it might get either of these three types upon evolving:

Poison/Dark

-> the Xenomorph lurked in the dark, also giving it immunity to psychic -> also giving it STAB for potential Bite/Crunch (remember this tiny mouth inside the mouth??)

Poison/Fighting

-> if it grows up to be an Alien-like Xenomorph (as stated above) this might complement its pure power - also unique typing (but creating a 2x weakness against psychic)

Poison/Dragon

-> for appearance reasons - also when it keeps the tail it might use STAB Dragon Tail

Ability: Suction Cup

obvious choice for being a parasite, making it impossible to get rid of it...

also subject to change

if it evolves I would say it gets 'Sheer Force' if it evolves into something like Poison/Fighting or Poison/Dragon as I stated above

On that note I guess it will be a physical attacker.

Essentially Cat's team just means that if a manga series were to be made about this pokemon game, the Player would choose Lifoam.

I may or may not write a spin-off fanfic at some point and yes, I have prepared teams for each and every major character just in case. Teams that are both fitting of their respective characterizations and competitively sound, may I add. At that point, having to choose a character to cosplay as (which required Zim to make the banner for the sig), I went with Cat because I like her team (and her long-term development) the most.

You got most of this right. Well except the ability the adult form will have, but anyway.

I should point out that Poison/Fighting is not unique *points at Croagunk and Toxicroack*

I suppose we get it by giving one of our "ill" water pokemon a laxative?

Seriously, enough with these jokes.

the coloring alone on this thing makes it feel Poison/dark, but it would be hilarious if it turned into Dark/water

1000th post ftw

Ah, you did it! THE.FIREWORKS.MAN

Congrats on that 1000th post tho. Now think of a way to celebrate the upcoming 2000th one c:

I don't think we have any mon in the whole game who changes all its types upon evolving. Well, except eevee I guess. Although a pure poison evolving into a water/dark would be kind of an interesting concept, as well as any mons that evolve into things with totally different typing, for that matter. It is quite an unseen thing, even for fakemons, except on branched families like eevee expies and such.

yeah, I always forget... mostly because they are the only ones and I rarely use them... and I was thinking of another typing, while... well typing

well if it isn't sheer force it's Huge Power

Now this is a poison type I'm looking forward to seeing in action :o Not sure how many open spaces I'll have in my actual party once we get it, though.

Also, just looked up the tounge-replacing parasite and... wow. Not sure that that's the direction it's going to take, though, as the Cymthoa exigua is supposedly harmless aside from replacing the tongue and this Pokemon seems to be taking a more grim route with it's evolution. Maybe it's going to be an evolution like Remoraid/Mantine? Have any unevolved water type in your party along with Xenova to make it or both of them evolve or something.

Also also, the discussion about Tomas' signature made me realize something I forgot to post earlier- I remember there was mention of Pslamb's natural predator that supposedly dressed itself like Pslamb (a play on "wolf in sheep's clothing")... would that black-and-gold chupacabra be it? Granted this is probably someone everyone else has already figured out by now haha, just felt like putting it here.

Indeed. That particular Pokemon is actually going to play a role in Cat's character development (she drops a hint about it as early as when you first visit Kelon), expect to face it in battle soon-ish.

On this topic, I should mention that both rivals are going to have competitively sound teams by endgame, both featuring a (rather solid) FWG core. Yes, this means that at least 3 members of their team, and not just one like in canon games, changes depending on your choice of starter. Although you might have already guessed it from Tim's battle on Route 1.

EDIT: why yes, I just implied that one of the unannounced Pokemon in my signature is of the Fire type.

We noticed, we noticed.

And we're proud of you.

Since someone else found out too, I just have to ask. It has illusion, doesn't it?

Also, there are few pure types. This one is probably Fire/Dark.
