Hey guys, I'm in the process of doing a dark type mono-run, and I am pretty sure that I messed up. My plan was to catch a murkrow when I got to Lapis Ward, but I wasn't thinking about it and joined team Magma. When is the next possible time that I can get him?

Go and do Magma's first quest, then you'll get another one immediately after it. Go and do that, enter Aqua's hideout, and after beating the first two Aquas (double battle) you'll get access to a level 20 Murkrow. You'll have to battle it to get him on your team.

Oh I'm dumb, I didn't realize that you could do the second Magma quest right after the first one, thanks!

So I did the first quest, but I've talked to Maxie and I have not gotten a second one. Do I have to beat shelly first?

It's possible that you do need to beat Shelly first. I don't remember Maxwell giving me the 2nd quest right after I was done talking to him for the 1st one

You could try re-entering the base and talking again, if not, beat Shelly.

Also in case you weren't aware, Murkrow in Aqua base is available on windy nights
