Y'know I realized while I was making Sora that there was an unintentional, unique advantage that having him a part of any empire could be beneficial. If you wanna know what I'm hinting at, look at Gen 5. There was certain items removed from Gen 6 existing in Gen 5 except for a Normal one. Even if Underdark didn't have Megas, the Excadrill is a huge advantage they have, because he can find rocks.

Ground water, elemental gems, weather sands, and mega stones. On the mega side, the steelix champion/captain/commander can mega. Magic kingdom have a slight advantage due to their king.

We're assuming items do not work so...yeah. Excadrill is still crazy powerful with that Sand Force/Rush ability. It's actually why one is probably going to become one of my PCs aces after it evolves from a Drilbur.

My update will be up soon. I must say I'm really enjoying RPing as Yuki.

Edit: Anyone can take control of the Crygonal and Vanilluxe as I don't have anything particular (if a certain wanderer/mercenary or nation wants one of them though...I'll then take control and interact). Artemis though I have something planned. It's going to be a bit of a long one.

Ohh, crap.. I thought you had sent them to explore, so I posted stuff with results.. Anyways the Vanilluxe and Artemis are still free to do whatever..

Hopefully the post should keep people busy for a while.. I had to end up finishing the day since I really needed to get a move on with Roht and the others.. Even Artemis and her squad would have taken that much to reach back, so commander you can pretty much give Artemis a good sized post before having them head back to the King and reporting..

Commander I just wanted to voice in that Mega Stones are a thing here, when you assume "items don't work"

Other things like type gems, weather rocks, etc. are still just like Mega Stones; still items. Plus some Pokemon kind ofalready have armor in one way or another.

EDIT: What is Yash's and Tyran's opinion on items outside of Mega Stones being a thing?

Considering we have already seen items like type gems being used mentioned/used I don't see where the confusion comes from.. Also what item are you talking about?? The gen 5 one??

That was a nice and scary scene. Permafrost sure has its share of scary Pokemon...

^ yep, the permafrost kingdom sure is scary considering there's an ice monster and a mysterious murderous ice queen that lives there.( I assume it's a froslass)

also, I have a question. What kind of pokemon lives in Vesperia canyon?(the one linking the underdark and permafrost continent) I like to introduce my Volcarona in that region.

I think Pixl deleted the Mega evolving Steelix. And I don't see the advantage Magic Kingdom is supposed to have. Unless I'm mistaken and they don't have a Sableye as a king.

Also Underdark has Tyranitars. We can destroy everything. xD

Inb4 Gilgamesh. I know it's been a while since I mentioned that name, but soon...the strongest swordsmen in all the land shall grace the stage.

Can I buy his loyalty with gems?

And I feel like making an alliance with Winterfell Permafrost. It would be fun to invade all the western kingdoms.

If the twos of yous dares marches into the Land of Sky, we'll burniate y'all with everything we have...

actually, hell, I'm pretty sure it would be incredibly hard to conquer sky at the moment, considering we more than likely have the most powerful defensive military compared to the other nations And we have hundreds of thousands of unsullied on our side... with wings

I gotta admit though, the main continent honestly reminds me of westeros, and the other continent off to the east is kinda like Essos in a way... go figure XD

But like I said, we's gonna get our game of throne on around here. It's too good to pass up and too easy to pull off not to do it, and you all know it is.

I second that. The Champion and Captian are pretty muh fuggin scary by themselves. If the two of them can somehow sway the Latias, Gengar and Lucario to join their cause it could get pretty nasty.

Wander isn't screwing with you when he says the military is very serial about the fighting and stuff.

Wander, Rayquaza is literally the only thing preventing your Kingdom from being slaughtered by Permafrost and even that only hinders the inevitable. Any aerial units can easily be knocked out of the sky or suffer a sever cripple. I mean when half you army can be wiped out by two or three blizzards, a stable to ice types...it's not a good time to gloat about defense.

*Puts on sunglasses and crosses arms*

you forget about our endurance and weakness training which is standard for the Sky Troops, my friend. I called them "Unsullied with wings" for a reason, they've been conditioned for their vulnerabilities. Those twisters described wrapping around his tail in the scenes when azauqyar was conducting the training?

They were blizzards. That's why the air was so damn cold. We thought up of all this long, long ago... simply relying on type match ups isn't going to just let an invading army sweep us, they'll have to rely on an actual strategem I'm afraid.

And honestly, if anything we still have the advantage of home terrain and not having to rely on a supply line, we literally would have access to all our resources at a moments notice because they'd literally be right there at our fingertips. An invading army however, would either be stuck with whatever they carried over on the march, or have to wait for it to makes it way to the war front... or try to pillage as they go.

It would be...most unfortunate is a bunch of rock slides were to come raining down on troops as they attempted to climb the peaks though... or if fire were to rain from the sky... or so many other nasty tricks I have up my sleeve given the types at my disposle

And even besides that, we can always form defensive alliances of our own if it's needed...

All in all, the point is, if one thinks they can simply come in and sweep the Sky nation with type match ups like an uber team taking on a LC team, they had best think again... cause that ain't gonna fly no way no how, you're gonna need at least some type of plan besides just playing rock paper scissors. Warfare is complex and deep, just as much as it is destructive, things on the battlefield can be incredibly dynamic...

and the best part? I'm not making any of this shit up right now; I legit went to the trouble of describing it all back in the first chapter. The narration from Azauqyar's POV even so much as legit says that anyone who thinks they can come in and secure victory with type matchups alone would be in for a nasty surprise... cause warfare is a deeper subject than just Rock Paper Scissors, unlike your classic bout of pokermans. Far deeper.

This brings back the days of when I was designing the chaos requiem (something for a novel). That thing was a saga of events which was probably the most interesting thing I ever thought up. The only thing I will say is that we can argue for hours, but only the battlefield will give us the answers.

Indeed it shall...indeed it shall. :feelsgd:

EDIT: In before I give an offer to sit down and discuss peace.

Considering how stuff is headed for me in irl, I may actually be out of it for a while, posting only shorts and that too once or so.. IF (the big if, get it?)that happens, then it slows stuff even more.. Maybe if stuff gets too slow, I may just have others speed things up..

Um what you mean by that either the guys that isn't looking for the groundon responding or I responding(Ignis or Rader)? Speaking of Rader, still no stuff for him of the fields exploration.
