Poke'mon Battlegrounds- CHAPTER 2 [OPEN]

Xeen - kabutops

"Now then, let's see about an INN" he exhaled. And set foot into the kingdom. As the looked around, Xeen kept a sharp eye out for that strange poke'mon as he had his suspensions about them. "And I though the magic kingdom was the only one constructed underground" he said as he exhaled bubbles. He looked to Zabuza "this place may be an ideal spot to start your training" he said.

Dragan (Garchomp) (OOC: If my post is ok, I have to manipulate the flow to make more sense)

Dragan

Dragan was flying toward to the plateaus to tell the locals the ideal action. When he saw the village, he signalled "Boys, prepare a defensive position in any case of the locals attacking." The seven gabites nodded and split up to be far away from Dragan but able to see him. Dragan proceeded to land and went to the mayor. The champion spoke "Mayor, I'm Dragan Zeal. Champion from the Land kingdom. Some of my men were here earlier but I am here for the builders to speed up the construction of our piers. In return, we leave this village alone unless under circumstances we have to conquer the land. Deal?"

Titania - Gardevior & Zabuza - Frokie

"Oh really, sweet!" The frog said excitedly. "Oh? I never knew you had an apprentice Xeen." The gardevior said with a happy giggle at the end. "Well actually, I asked him to not too long ago. So you're the first to know about this." Zabuza said proudly. "Well, I'll find the INN. You two just try not to cause trouble while I'm gone." With that she left, a little happy she had some time to herself. Zabuza then turned to the swordsman, "So what are we going to start with? I'm ready for anything!"

Underdark Kingdom

Titania made her way into the city and found a decent Inn for the party to stay at. She entered to find that it also housed a dive bar. She made her way to the bar and spoke with the bartender, asking him about lodgings for three. "Well miss, we have a few rooms free. I will attend to you shortly. Why don't you and your colleagues stay in the bar and have a few drinks." With that he went back to serving a rather drunk looking pokemon sitting nearby. She could hear a few rather crass words coming out of the pokemon. ((That's Sora the Excadrill by the way. Feel free to have fun.))

Ice Bridge [Roht-Raikou] & [brandon-Cloyster]

As Azauqyar made his way down towards the ice bridge, he could who had signalled him, a Raikou. Roht saw the sky dragon make his way towards them and told Brandon, "Keep your men in check. If they make the mistake of attacking him, we all are dead. Don't think you Ice types have an advantage. He can probably burn all of you in an instant." Brandon stared at the Raikou, then at the Dragon rushing towards them. "Men, hold your fire. We don't want to anger a God. Keep working on the bridge. Roht and I will speak with the Dragon." By then the Rayquaza had reached them and Roht spoke up, "Lord Rayquaza, it was I who signalled you. It's obvious that you felt Groudon awaken, and so I assume you are on your way to find him. I won't stop you for long, but we need to speak with you. This is Commander Surodnal from the Underdark Kingdom, and Commander Brandon of the Permafrost, whose army you see before you. You may have seen Lady Artemis and King Gideon fly away just a little after my spark. Now to the point. These two kingdoms are part of the eastern continent, and as you can see they intend to make their way towards the west. This will surely spark war, something that cannot be handled if Groudon and Kyogre both are awake. It is a matter of time before they begin to fight, and such a catastrophic event along with a war, could probably wipe out all the Kingdoms, yours as well. Yes, I know about the four western Kingdoms. Please attend to Groudon and meet with us in the west. I plan to meet my brother, who is starting a peacekeeping force. I intend to help him, both of them actually and remind them of our past. It is time. Rumours of dangerous Pokemon have made me nervous and I feel that an evil force is playing a game with us. I hope you will support us, as I feel there is something else at play here, which is causing such mayhem in the world." Brandon interrupted, "Sir, if I may shorten Roht's speech. He plans to figure out what is waking up all the Gods, and who is behind the chaos in the land. We have a new unknown force attacking people on our continent. We need to prepare for them to attack, for if they have any amount of control over Groudon and Kyogre, we are in trouble." They all waited for the Dragon to respond, partly awestruck by meeting the God in person.

Somber Plateaus

The Mayor heard the Garchomp's words, being particularly worried about the last sentence. "As we had informed your scouts before, we are a peaceful clan and don't want anything to do with you or your Kingdom. We offered you our services, but instead of requesting that you have come with an attack squadron. Don't think my people don't know about the Gabites. Your offer of peace also is false. You will leave us alone unless you want to conquer the land. Is that a joke Dragan? We had offered you our services, instead of accepting them, you try and move in your troops and threaten us? I think it is best if you leave. You aren't the advisor, nor a Commander. You don't even have the authority to negotiate. Send somebody with that authority, and perhaps more brains and less brawns. We can then make a deal. However I am not like you, and will have a few of my men join you to help with the repairs." He called his aide, "Tell the shipwrights and their crew to go with Dragan here. They need help making boats and repairing their piers. Go, quickly. Get them prepared." He turned back to the Garchomp, "As you can see Dragan, we are a helpful and kind people. However if we associate with any Kingdom, other Kingdoms will not hire our men and we will loose our livelihood. So please leave, and send somebody from the Land Kingdom who can negotiate with us." Saying that the Mayor turned and walked away.

Toxia Badlands

Crystal had been escorted by Sir Darius, and behind him Valerie. Once they reached the Badlands however, it was Valerie who took charge, and went to find the man she had spoken with previously. After a little while they realised that the poison types had made arrangements to see their new rulers. In the heart of the Badlands was a Lake, besides which they had created a stage and Podium. The three from the Magic Kingdom made their way towards it, with a large crowd gathering to meet the queen. They were greeted by various chiefs and heads of families who insisted on an official ceremony for the joining of the Badlands to the Kingdom. They just wanted approval from the queen.

The path to the Ruins

As Atlas and Pavise made their way back to the city, a starly came to them. It saw the giant steel Golem, but somehow managed to remain professional and spoke only with Atlas. Though it was obvious that it was intimidated by the Registeel. "Sir, Commander Rader needs your help at the tauros fields. He says one of the three major families are willing to be a part of the Land, but the other two refused to join. He also said something about trading rights, though I do not have any more details." The bird type waited for the Golurk's response.

Crystal - Espeon

The queen was surprised to find that they set up a stage just for them. She felt honored and felt that it would be awful if she denied them the ceremony after they went through all this prep work. "It would be an honor if we had an official ceremony here." She said with a joy filled smile. She just wondered what they had in store with this ceremony and hopefully it wasn't just speeches.

Dragan (Garchomp)

When he heard the elder/mayor finished speaking, he responded "At least you heard me out. But I will ask a commander to come here. I just going to take the builders, we will pay them handsomely." With that was over and with, he flew out to the position where the gabites were and told them "Men, go to the kingdom and tell Commanders Atlas or Ursa to come to the somber plateaus and speak with the elder. I will wait here for the builders." The gabites responded with a yes sir and flew away. Meawhile Dragan waited for the builders to come."

Sir Darius (Gallade)

Sir Darius was also surprised to see that the leaders of the Toxia Wastelands had gone through the trouble of setting all of this up. "This is quite a surprise. I was just expecting a meeting with their leaders rather than have an official ceremony like this." At one point, he had considered keeping a closer distance to Queen Crystal to help ensure her protection, but ultimately chose against it. Toxia's leaders don't need to think that the Kingdom of Magic's captain was being overprotective in these times where trust would be held high among other things. Not to mention that it was easy to see that there were families in the crowd as well. It seems like a safe bet that there wouldn't be any attempt on her life from the people of the Wastelands lest anyone was scarred for life, especially if there were any young among the crowd. "Let's just hope that things will go as smoothly as we first thought they would."

Atlas (Golurk), Pavise (Registeel) & the scouting team's Weavile

"Very well. we'll head over there right away." Atlas responded to the messenger. It then turned to the Weavile. "It would probably be a good idea to inform the king of this as well. Afterwards, head back to the capital to inform the rest of the Precipice Brigade of the current situation. They must not leave the capital under any circumstances. If anything should arise while I'm gone, then you will be the one to inform me. Is that understood?" The Weavile nodded and used it's speed to head back to follow his orders with haste. Atlas then turned to Pavise. "As delicate as negotiations can be, I will still need an escort should anything happen, which is why you're coming with." The Golurk said. "I will follow if you wish. Defense is my specialty, after all." Pavise responded. Atlas turned back to the starly. "You may tell Commander Rader that we will be headed over there right away." The Golurk waited for the messenger to respond and send the message before the duo headed over there themselves.

Krusher - Tyrantrum & weavile (NPC)

" Ignis, there is something I wish to to talk to you about. It may have something to so with your.... Forgotten memories" said the massive king, but right before he could speak, a weavile rushed by them, kneeled down in front of the king, and spoke out. "Pardon me your jawless, but you are needed at tarous plains, things are not going as you had hoped" she said. The king rose his head mildly annoyed "I see, I'll make my way over there... Perhaps if I talked to them my self I could sway them better." The ice type then took off and the king looked back to Ignis "I am sorry, but looks like that talk will have to wait, in the mean time continue to sweep this cave. If you don't find groudon within 36 hours you are to join up with me." He said as he made his way out of the cave.

Xeen - Kabutops

He looked down at the frog poke'mon "I am going to teach how to take on your opponent without fighting them." He exhaled. And he slowly made is way to what seemed like an open area. "Come here and take your stance" he said as he exhaled bubbles.

"Taking on your opponent without attacking?" The frog asked confused, "How can beat an opponent without attacking? Well, I guess you're going to show me anyways so make it a surprise!" The frog said confidently as he makes two blades of lights in both hands (Cut). He takes his stance a prepares for his lesson with his new instructor Xeen.

Ulkina (Latias)

Ulkina groaned to herself. One way or another, she couldn't hold trial by herself as the only judge. She knew she would be biased, and never had any official judicial training of any sort, nor did she have any idea of law in the ky Kingdom. She flew over to the front doors and saw the Dragonite she was looking for.

"Excuse me. Lieutenant Dravis is it?" She asked the Dragonite. He turned around. "Yes m'lady?"

"I need someone to send for Stratos immediately. I don't expect Azauqyar, your captain, to be back any time soon." The Dragonite nodded and muttered select words to another Dragonite guard. That guard flew away without another word. Ulkina turned around, thanking the Lieutenant for his service. She left immediately. "I think I know someone else who can help," she whispered to herself. She thought to herself, hoping to call out for Eric and his company. She needed him. Now.

Sora (Excadrill)

"Ya know wha I hate about dis...," the mole slurred. "Those damn superiors of mine. It was always work, work, work *hic* and more work." He grabbed his mug, signaling for another round wearily. He slammed down more gems. "Don't you dare fucking stooop keep till...I can't *hic* feel stuff like stuff should be felt."

The barkeep sighed. "What's bothering you old chap?"

Sora slammed down yet another round in a monsterous gulp. "I tell you wha. T-the damn superiors never let me have legitimate children." He looked down sulking. "Ah children, now they are real treasure. More than these rocks I tell you." He fumbled for more gems for the barkeep. "Them breeding programs they had me on. They milked me dry I tell you. At least one of every six in my mining legion has to be a child of mine. Illegitimate they are, yes, but those little bastards dig like me."

The Excadrill slumped over and fell off his seat, passed out in a drunken stupor.

Vertex & Yien - Bisharp & Banette

Meanwhile back at camp. Vertex was ambushed by Yien who had attacked him from the shadows. "We didn't get to finish playing last time, now we have no one to get in the way" Said the ghost type as he let out a crazed giggle. "I was hoping we'd meet again. now I can settle the score" Said the steel type drawing his sword. Yien just laughed at him "Aw.... are you angery? maybe a game will cheer you up.." he said as he summoned his scythe with magic. the two of them then rushed at one another and started a battle.

Poke'mon Battle : Beach Brawl - Vertex V.S Yien

Vertex started things off with 'metal claw', but Yien used magic to become intangible and the attack just phased through him. "Is it my turn now?" giggled the crazed phantom as he slashed Vertex with his scythe. Right before the blade could reach him thoug, Vertex defended himself with 'Iron Defense'and lept back before Yien could slash at him again. "Sorry but thats not going to work this time" said Vertex as he fired off a dark pulse directly at yien. It landed a solid hit! and a critical at that! "OOOoooh that was a good one! can I try?" laughed out Yien. as he used the same attack and some how did the same ammout of damage. Vertex now understood why it was Xeen was after this poke'mon, Yien is too dangerous to be left alive and he had no choice but to kill him, even if it ment having to fight Xeen again. Vertex attacked the ghost type with a 'Metal burst', but Yien dodged and attacked with... 'Aura Sphere'? the attack struck Vertex dead center and crippled his left arm, "Damn you! You'll pay for that!" he cried out in pain, Xertex was getting angery, he hates losing and wuld not tolerate the idea of being taken down by this poke'mon again. "Some one looks unhappy" giggled Yien, this wasn't bothering him in the slightest. infact Yien seemed to be ejoying both the pain he's causing and the pain he's feeling, there was no doubt something up with this poke'mon and it sure isn't anything good. Vertex lunged at Yie with 'Guillotine' but the attack failed when Yien became intangible once more. "I think its time I made the game more fun" Giggled Yien as he pulled out a strange stone that gave off an evil power and srated at Vertex with his unblinking pink eyes. "Do you know what this is?" said the ghost type in a sinister tone. "A mega stone" Said Vertex his face lost all expresion and he too a stance "I don't know what you plan to do with that, but its not going to work" said the steel type. "You are half right, this is a Mega stone... but this is not the kind this world is familiar with" said Yien with a sinister grin in his eye. Yien then activated the ston and underwent a transformation. His arms gre longer and his hands grew thousands of thread like fibers, the same happended to his legs, his body enlongated, his face got 4 additional eyes, and his mouth unzipped revealing three rows of red razor sharp teeth. "Game Over" growled the newly transformed poke'mon as he took his scythe and slashed Vertex in half. as the sun started to rise Yien phased back into the ground sining that toon once more. Vertx turned his head to the sun rising over the horizon. "I am sorry my queen... But I won't be comming home from this one." he said as he let out one last breath before his life slipped away.

Velvet (Lopunny)

Velvet woke up from a deep sleep to the sunrise. It was one of the most beautiful sights to her since she usually isn't anywhere near the shoreline. After a few seconds of gazing at the sight before her, she realized something. "Wait a minute... it's morning already? And I was never woken up to keep watch..." She sat up, still not realizing what had happened a short while ago. "Vertex, you've got some explaining to-" She cut her sentence short as she looked over to see Vertex's body a short distance away. "...Vertex?" She got up and ran toward what was now Vertex's corpse. She stopped in her tracks and nearly collapsed in shock as she saw that the Bisharp was cut in half. "Oh no... please tell me..." Tears were in her eyes by then. She somehow managed to get close to the limp body before falling to her knees. The tears began to run down her face. "No... not again." She punched the ground in an upset anger and took a good look around, but it seemed as though the culprit was gone.

Atlas (Golurk) & Pavise (Registeel)

After another long walk (well, another one for Atlas anyway), Atlas and Pavise have finally reached the border between the Kingdom of land and the Tauros plains. "We've finally reached the Tauros Plains." Atlas said. "Now we just have to find Commander Rader and continue with negotiations. Hopefully, things will go well. I don't think many of us will be happy if this breaks down. I know I won't."

Gliscor NPC

When Atlas finished speaking out, one gilscor who is a part of Rader's team was gliding by. He noticed the duo and flew down to land in front of them. He was intimidated by the Registeel standing by Atlas but he still spoke "Commander Atlas, Sir Rader was awaiting for you to come. I assume you got most of the situation at hand. I will lead you to him, Commander."

Rain -Suicune

Rain left the camp and went towards the east carrying out this mission alone. The aurora pokemon travels across the sea as he sprints on the sea surface. Creating an ice path as goes, bridging the east and the west continent. The lone wolf head towards Mt. Lavos, hoping to find the orbs there.

Atlas (Golurk) & Pavise (Registeel)

Even though they had just arrived at the Tauros Plains, Atlas wasn't expecting any sort of welcome this early. "Ah, so commander Rader has been expecting us to arrive this quickly? Very good. By all means, lead the way." Atlas followed the Gliscor with Pavise in tow. It would seem as though the Registeel was in thought. Most likely thinking of how most of the pokemon that they've come across have been intimidated by it's presence. Whether it was because they knew of the tragedy that happened less than a century ago or the sheer fact that it's a legend remains unknown to the Registeel. There was, however, one thing that it was sure of: it had a purpose in the world once again. Hopefully, that fact would suffice long enough for it to find out what had truly happened all those years ago. For now, Pavise decided to cast away it's concerns for later and follow it's current objective.

Krusher - Tyrantrum

As the sun rose up, the king crossed the smelly swamp and eventually reached the boarders of Taurus plains. But he still had a while before he reached the others. " the sooner I get there the better" he growled to him self as he picked up his pace. The ground shook beneath him indicating that he was near. (These poke'mon will join us one way or another, even if I have no choice but to resort to a fight) he thought to himself.
