Developers Jan Posted May 12, 2015 Developers Share Posted May 12, 2015 So even though I said I wasn't going to update until version 6, I lied. There were a few NPCs that were crashing the game. One survived this update, the other was evicted (temporarily). This version is only an optional update. So in that optional-ness, I decided to try something out. Intense mode is even more intense. Before, Gym leader's levels were just rounded up by 2-3. However, in 5-5, I've increased the levels (To a fair degree.) and changed around their rosters. So now intense mode is even more intense. However, this has not been tested. So things may seem slightly unfair/ridiculous. That's where you brave players come into play. You want to try out intense mode? Be my guest. I am always open to suggestions. Also as a bonus, Gearen city has been slightly remodeled. I was going to wait for V6, but eh. why not just give it here. Some overworld sprites have been touched up a bit, too. (Namely Aelita and Nim.) Version 5-5 (Mega) Mediafire Edit: Oh right, obviously, since this is an optional update, this won't be replacing the main links. So you should keep a copy of the last version you have. The following errors have been fixed(?) in 5-5 Reveal hidden contents Known Errors: Miscellaneous: Typo in Volcanic field text[Fixed] Gearen City: DrJenkel's Machine acts weirdly.[Fixed] -Casino Lottery-Amaria's sprite can be walked through.[Fixed]-Happiness Checker crashes the game.[sHE HAS BEEN EVICTED]-Continuity error with Melia's Zorua knowing Dark Pulse.[Fixed] -Old man got ahead of himself.... (Sprite cut off)[Fixed] -Casino lists Facade instead of Hidden Power. (Gives Hidden Power anyway)[Fixed]Amethyst Cave-Ren's sprite is missing from the Galvantula Web.[Fixed]Sheridan-Speaking to the Eldest for the first time in Purity Forest from above will crash the game.[Fixed]-Prior to 5.3.2, some warps act funny.[Fixed]-Prior to 5.3.2, it is possible to walk into a cave in the Sheridan Badlands. This will cause you to sequence break and mess up your save file.[Fixed] -Nuzleaf event says "scraggy" due to it originally being a scraggy event.[Fixed] -Passability errors on the Grave Peak.[Fixed] Goldenleaf Town -Spoink event says "Give Lombre the Gourmet Treat" instead of Spoink.[Fixed] Akuwa Town: -Surf Glitch[Fixed]Terajuma Island: -Version 4 end message isn't deleted.[Fixed]-Surf glitching[Fixed]-Bridge impassability -Yanma Trade-Passability errors on Kakori Gym-Some ledges are awkward[Fixed] -Scolipede don't disappear for good.[Fixed] GroundsOfTheolia: Venam not disappearing for good after Melia's chamber [Fixed] Any further errors will be fixed in version 6. In all honesty, Intense should be F***ing hard so as long as a handful of people are able to pass it, it should be okay. Those who don't can always jump down to reborn style instead.
