Red

Klive sighed. "I'm afraid not. I didn't really know what to ask him. The most information I got out of him was when I asked about the egyptian exhibit at the museum. A few other people seem to think there's a correlation between that and recent events." It occurred to xem that xe had had no word from Arial and xe quickly scanned the room, looking for her or Rene.

"You really are a strange girl. No questions about where you are or who I am?" The man wore a confused frown. He didn't know why he was complaining, a silent prisoner was better than a troublesome one for certaain.

"Hey, do you mean that you are actually going to answer me this time around?!" Monika said, surprised. That man, who didn't think twice before "poisoning" her and making her collapse the previous day, in the alleyway, now was surprised because she didn't ask him anything.

After some seconds of silence, Monika picked up the sandwich, and started to eat it, then waited before talking again with that man... Would he listen to her and answer her questions now, unlike the other day?

She began to whisper: "Well, of course I'd like to know who you are or in which part of the city I am now - and actually, I'd like to ask you many more things. But, yesterday you didn't reply to any question I made: are you really going to do it now?", then, after finishing that small sandwich, and pausing for some time, she continued to talk, softly: "That aside, I'll ask you the same thing of yesterday: why, of all the people in this city, you abducted me? Do you know who I am, or have we met before? And, one more thing... I noticed you took my stuff with me yesterday: but, now it's not here...".

After talking, Monika thought about a way to get her stuff back - if the man wanted to... She remebered she had some water inside of the bag, which not only she could have drunk - she was thirsty at the moment - but she could get back all of the other things that were in the bag.

While surely it was worth trying, Monika found simply asking that fairly difficult - because, instead of asking informations, she was asking the man to do something else for her. His words, "Be glad you get anything", still meant (for Monika) that this man would have likely refused.

After another pause, Monika whispered something again. "Speaking about my stuff... I have to admit I'm thirsty now but, instead of making you get something for me, you could just bring here my backpack: there's some water inside... I'd be very grateful." She didn't actually know how to word that and didn't want to upset the man, resulting in an unsteady voice and a lot of pauses.

It was strange to say something like that to such a man - maybe a maniac, maybe a murderer - but Monika had to say that she'd have been grateful... After all, she was a polite and good mannered girl. And, that could have always helped, even in a situation like that.

{Klive and anyone from the Beach Group}

Arial could be seen with her head in her arms at her desk, clearly disappointed in the turn of events that happened yesterday. 'Stupid cops and their stupid procedures... At least Mom and Dad didn't get their panties in a bunch...' After the police managed to contact her parents last night, Arial got herself a reprimand for crossing with the authorities. While her designer parents were appalled by such behavior from their only daughter, they let her off lightly since, as they put it, Arial didn't get herself a criminal record from the trespassing. However, as a warning, they locked up her beloved motor scooter, leaving Arial with only an old skateboard to use. She wasn't bothered by it, however, since her scooter wasn't exactly fit to ride after yesterday's stunt. Plus, Arial knew the password to the garage anyway thanks to Ignacio, her mischievous older brother, so she could always visit the garage to clean her scooter up.

The green-eyed teen gave an audible, heavy sigh. "Hopefully they are done with whatever the hell they were doing there today."

(Dean)

Robert nodded and walked as Dean gave the explanation of what happened for him, "Hmm, well atleast it was just a warning. Same here luckily. I swear if not for how they were in a good mood before, plus how they're actually glad I'm getting out of the house because of this all, I can't see how it wouldn't have been the end of it." He chuckled to himself about how he lucked out.

"Hmm, and that does make sense for a great lead to go after. Hopefully the guy knows something good like how you're saying it."

(Robert)

Dean responded `Bruh, I chased him with Lane, speaking of Lane, he isn`t here today. I been wanting to ask him something related to the bouncer. So duel to pass the time, we can do in the cafeteria." He took out his gazer `Can I have your number? Please?" said Dean

Beach group from yesterday; Arial

"I hope so too," Rene said as he overheard Arial talking. "Despite our outcome yesterday, I still want to check out the beach for any sort of clues. However, I do think we need to be more cautious in case the police are around still."

Rene paused before continuing, "Perhaps we ought to cover more ground as well should the beach not yield anything to us. Maybe not today, but as the rest of the week carries on."

"A duel? Sure, sounds good. I did add some cards from yesterday, so should help me see if it has any kinks to bad in the system. And sure, number on the way." I pull out my D-Pad and bring up my number for you to copy, heading to the cafeteria in the meantime.

Once the cafeteria is in-sight, I head to an open table and quickly get my bento and deck out. "Ready whether you want to duel or eat first, Dean. Either way's fine by me."

(Robert and I will edit the result in)

Dean said: "Let just duel." He proceed to take out his gazer and disk. He couldn't wait for him to lose against him considering last time he brutally lost in a close duel.

LATER

Dean was shocked at the fact that Robert made a comeback after some mistakes liking sacrificing blue eyes to summon red eyes metal darkness dragon and not activating mirror force on his 2nd fortress. And the fact Robert only had 400 points left. He disengaged the disk and walked over where Robert was standing and spoke "Good game, I swear these deskbots always find a way to comeback despite me having a strong start. Anyways, about that number."

Robert smiled as he pulled of a close win, happy at it went in his favor after all that could have just ended things. "Hehe, yeah, the little bots tend to work well when they're working together." He beamed at the compliment to them, glad that he was able to put some good use to monsters that'd, admittably, would be weak without the right balance.

"Oh, and no prob." He relayed his full contact number to Dean before opening his bento, getting to it as his stomache started growling.

"Again, what makes you think that something happened to her? From the sound of it, she just left ahead of you." Setsuna sighed. He was being too harsh on himself for a possibility that may or may not have happened. "Like I said earlier, she could just be too sick to even contact anyone, let alone come to school. Just because weird thing have been happening doesn't mean weird things will always happen."

Setsuna thought back for a bit. Monika was going to find that Ayatane guy who supposedly had a Numbers Card. That could always be behind her disappearance but it was merely a single possibility at this point.

Rooftop (To Setsuna)

"I just know it because of the strange things that's happening around. I don't want her to get harmed."

He's trying to persuade Setsuna, although it would be seemed impossible to pull without any evidence.

"I just don't want to. Not under my watch."

The mans face took on an expression of interest. "I'm not going to tell you anything about where anything is. The less you know about that the easier it is to control you. Still, if you're being this well behaved I suppose there's no need to be cruel." The man abruptly climbed the stairs and left the room, locking it. When he returned a few minutes later he held Monikas bag. He dropped it at her feet after climbing down the stairs. "Everything is in there except your D-pad and phone. Can't have you communicating to anyone just yet"

((VOMIT! YAAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!!!))

Suddenly a cry came from outside the classroom. A particularly queasy student had just burst into the room and started throwing up into the bin in the front of the room, right in front of Klive and Red! Immediately Anna went to care for the child who had thankfully grabbed the bin next to the door in the panic. Unfortunately some unsightly remnants remained after they had left for the Nurses station. Anna quickly called up Will, the janitor. "Excuse me, I'm terribly sorry but a child has decided that being sick around a bin was the best immediate course of action. Could you come clear it up?"

Klive

Like most of the class, Klive was confused about the sudden arrival of the sick student. Kudos to their quick thinking, didn't look like they'd make it to the bathroom. I guess a bin is better. "Well that's rather gruesome. C'mon Red, how about we go dstract ourselves from that by talking to someone else, I'd rather not stay this near to the door..." And so Klive quickly hopped seats to sit next to Ariel. "Heya. So, you find anything last night?" Klive was as questioning as he'd ever been.

[Klive/Ariel]

Red shivered as she saw the student hanging over the bucket. It reminded her to much of her childhood, having to puke on a regular basis during her kindergarten years. Red quickly turned away and started following Kilve. Hopefully this Ariel person had found something useful to the investigation. So Red found a desk to lean on and starting looking for that sandwich she had made this morning, her ears still on Klive and Ariel in case they said something.

He is not stupid. Not at all... Communication seems to be the only way out of this - unless I fight against him and make him collapse, or something like that, which is the last thing I would like to do right now. He is also cruel: being polite was life-saving here. thought Monika, as the man brought her the bag without the stuff she'd actually wanted to receive.

Then, something else came into the girl's mind. What was the objective of that man? Didn't he want me to scream for help and use me as a bait? She pulled out a water bottle and began to drink some water, as she said she was going to do, and hoping to gain some trust from the man this way. The response of the man, while not very satisfying, was still better than anything, and gave Monika some confidence: that man was not going to hurt her and was actually telling her something instead of not talking at all. "Wait, I can't communicate just yet? What does this mean?" she asked, talking in the same way as before. She added, this time showing a sadder face "And also, don't worry about controlling me: unluckily for me, it's way too easy..." After some time of silence, she whispered: "I have to admit, you don't look like the ordinary maniac. You seem to be... more clever... It's a bad thing because I can't fool you - not that I'm very good at doing this anyway - but you're certainly better than any maniacal serial killer that could have already murdered me." Then, she waited patiently for the reaction of the man, trying to imagine it... it could have been virtually everything.

He chuckled quietly. "I suppose I can't fault you for thinking I'm a killer. It's not a title I hold quite yet though. Still, don't bother with the flattery and don't worry your pretty little head over what I said. Just know that you'll see your friends soon enough. That's the idea behind a ransom."

With those words, the man not only made Monika more worried about her friends, but actually seemed to have ended the conversation. He was still there - probably waiting for Monika to say something else, or just to watch over her in case she wanted to run away... the girl could have made the most out of that time, before he went away, by talking some more and get some more informations, but about what? The man wouldn't give them away easily, and he probably had already said more than he wanted to.

"Wait, which one of my friends? What do you want from them?" she asked instinctively after a while, way louder than she wanted to. Then, Monika asked herself which friends he was talking about... Zander and the other that went with her into that alleyway two days before, or someone like Lane, or anyone else in her classroom that Monika had never hanged out with?

Realizing she had probably worded in a bad way that question, she talked again: "I mean... are you talking about all of my classmates or just some specific students? Probably I could 'help' you myself..."; probably just making the situation worse. Monika was now just mumbling quickly some words before thinking about what she was saying and began to panic.

After that, she tried to stay quiet, refraining from speaking again, and managed to calm down. "I'm... I'm sorry for that, those questions were more instinctive than anything and they could have been out of place. The thing is that first, I can only communicate with two or three of my classmates, and second, I'd still like to know what you want from them. I could probably help you, even though I don't know much." she said, trying to redeem herself... and expecting to have failed.

Arthur sighed and sat near Arial, not feeling particularly chatty after his run-in with the police the day before. How can we figure out more? he thought to himself, not entirely sure what to do.

"Look. Monika is my friend, too." Setsuna spoke. "If you want, I could message her. If she doesn't reply, then we can go straight to her place after school. If, and only if, it turns out that she has not returned home or anything, then we can go investigate this place where you were supposed to search yesterday. Fair enough?"

It was highly likely that Gen was overreacting. However, that didn't mean his concerns were invalid. But, it was too much of a stretch to assume the worst case scenario so she would have to confirm that no others possibilities were left.

".....Okay."

He let out a sigh, hoping his assumption is wrong. He tried to calm down a bit.

The bell rang abruptly, calling a halt to the conversations. After a brief wait as Anna returned from caring for the nauseous child the class resumed with their lesson, each of them waiting eagerly for the school day to end.
