"I guess. . ." Hiroki was rather nervous about that prospect. And it was weird. Kagari seemed like she was embarrassed by the prospect, too, judging by the color of her face, though her tone sounded. . . excited? "I wonder why they only gave us one bed." I guess there's nothing WRONG with it. It's not like no one has ever slept in the same bed as another person before. It just seems, I don't know, like you'd want to actually know the other person. After looking about for a moment, she spoke again. "Maybe we should just finish unpacking." With that, she started fishing her clothes out of her bag, getting an armload of them and walking over to the wardrobe.

Ruri's snapping broke Kagari out of her embarrassment. She then realised she was still holding on to her suitcase.

"Ah!"

Kagari briskly walked over to a dresser in the corner of the room and placed her suitcase on it. She turned to Hiroki and Ruri, composure regained.

"Anyway, what would you girls like to do now? We could go explore around the place, or we could just sit here and chat."

Hiroki slid the wardrobe door open with one elbow, ready to get to work hanging and storing her clothes when she ran across the futon within. "Um, Kagari, you didn't mention there was another place to sleep in here." She turned to look at the other girl with an innocently questioning look of simple confusion. Why wouldn't she mention that? And where am I going to put all these clothes?

Kagari flushed bright red.

"Um... Yukimura-san... If you look carefully, there's only one futon in there... We'd either have to share the bed or share... the..."

Kagari got so red she was unable to speak, then jumped on the bed and buried her face among the pillows.

"Martial arts... I used to play volleyball in school." Ringo contemplated. That would perfectly explain her physique. Her face changed to a much more serious one. "Don't get me wrong though." She stretched out her right hand to point at Gunther. Placing her other hands on her hip, she puffed out her chest. "I will win next time. Gunther Nah Just Gunther. From today on we are rivals." She couldn't hide her grin. I've always wanted to say something like that! This is going to be fun. "You better train hard, because I will be training harder. Dancing, singing, beauty, running, sports, whatever it takes. I will defeat you!" She closed her eyes and raised her outstretched finger upwards. Then Ringo relaxed her pose. "But for now, do you want to have a look around the gym? This place seems huge."

"Well, I have zero reservations about sharing a bed so you guys can figure out the sleeping arrangements. I just would rather unpack first before we decide to explore the building or anything. So, until then, we can just chat while we unpack our stuff."

Ruri walked back to the posters she had yet to put up and put them on either side of the star chart she had put up. Afterwards, she walked back towards the luggage she had left in the foyer.

"Umm, guys is there a bookshelf in any of the rooms?"

Hiroki blushed more than slightly herself. "I-I think the bed will work fine, th-then." She awkwardly hurried toward the dresser with her armful of clothing. "T-this will be my drawer," she said as she opened the bottom one and began furiously stuffing clothing inside as if the pieces had offended her great ancestors. I knew something like this would happen, I'm always so awkward.

"Lets see..." Lyre murmered as she fiddled with the arms on the cuttlefish."Ms. Himiko said there was a gym or something...ooh there was a pool we could go swimming or there was karaoke right we could do that. Hmm... that would be more fun with more people..." Lyre trailed of a bit "We should actually introduce ourselves to the other girls from the other elevator be for anything though." Lyre said with her eyes closed in thought "Umm..was there anything you wanted to do Arya I don't want to force you into anything or something." Lyre said hiding her face behind her fish.

"The library might be nice..." Arya managed as she finally felt the blood beginning to recede. She wasn't much a fan of books to tell the truth, but that claim about having the largest collections and archives in the world had peaked her interest. It was certainly worth a look at the very least; if it didn't have what she was hoping to find, chances are it simply wasn't out there at all.

She finally stopped her rummaging and turned to face the blue haired girl, deciding it would just be easier to just unpack later. "I don't know about the pool though; Never been a big fan of swimming. But anyways... lead the way, I guess."

Rival. A rival. Somebody to test her mettle against. And why the heck not? For a while there, Ringo had nearly beaten her in the race. Maybe she'd be the only one able to keep up with her in training. "Well, good luck beating me in sports. That's one thing I don't intend losing to anyone on," she said in reply, her arms folded as she stared back, her face showing no sign that she was impressed. But pride burned in her deep dark chocolate eyes, which were narrowed. Who would've thought I'd gain a rival in such a froufrou setting? "You could try beating me at all this idol stuff-- try. But like hell I'll let anybody best me in sports. Anyway," she said, her voice trailing off as she looked around. The gym floor was huge, she was sure. According to the attendant from earlier, the fifty-first floor had a section for physical training equipment, a room for meditation, and an indoor track as long as two hundred meters. "... Do you think she was kidding about that two hundred meter-long running track?"

"The library? Okay that sounds interesting. I don't remember if I brought a swimsuit anyway." Lyre said as she walked out of the room carrying the stuffed cuttlefish well waving for Arya to fallow her. Stopping in front of the triple room Lyre could some voices from it. "Though first thing first." she whispered to herself as she knocked on the door.

Hiroki jumped at the knock, bumping into the dresser with a good portion of her weight. As she skittered out of the bedroom and toward the outer door, Kagari's suitcase slipped off of the top and fell to the ground, popping open and spilling its contents across the ground. Hiroki opened the door almost breathlessly, surprised at the speed she had managed to move at. "Um, hi," she said to the girl waiting on the other side, looking up at her with the blush of embarrassment still faint in her cheeks.

A grin of satisfaction spread across her face. She's going to be taking it seriously as well. This is going to be fun. Ringo's thoughts returned to reality when Gunther asked her a question. "Have you seen the rest of the building? Our rooms, this place, the atmosphere? If they told me they had a oceanarium with a blue whale I'd be looking for it right now." Motioning the other girl to follow her, she started walking further into the gym. "Let's check it out."

Gunther couldn't help nodding in agreement. The place was pretty damn impressive. Suddenly she was overcome by a desire to see the whole building. But... first things first. She had to get some training in. Something else was on her mind, though... "Wonder what the food here's like," she mused aloud, following Ringo.

"I bet it's heavenly! They spend all this money on making the building awesome, they have to have good cooks as well." Ringo stopped in her tracks. She entwined her fingers together, closed her eyes and brought her hands up against her cheek. "I can imagine it now. Barbecued spare ribs, covered in sauce and spiting and sizzling from the heat. A side dish of potato chips fresh out of the fryer." Her mouth started to water before she snapped out of her trance. "Well uhm anyways. Let's keep going!" She picked up the pace a bit and opened the door with both arms. The 200m running track was as huge as she imagined. The air was nice and cool thanks to the state of the art ventilation systems, the ground was high friction and perfect for running. Ringo also noted that there were showers here. "Yep, seems like they were telling the truth about this place."

((I asked Acquie for the general description of the place \o/))

((\o/)) wow this thing looks like the top of a rabbit's head wot

Little did Ringo know (hopefully), her description of the dish had Gunther longing for dinner. Damn it, why'd they still have to wait till six o' clock? When they passed the doors, though, the sight of the huge racing track was enough to momentarily distract the athletic girl from her suddenly grumbling stomach. It did look like it was two hundred meters long. "Oх боже," she muttered aloud. Then without wasting anymore time, she pulled something out of her pants' bulging pocket. Good thing it hadn't fallen out. That would've made me an elephant in a china shop, she thought, wiggling the tightly compressed bag loose. It took her a while, but somehow she'd managed to fit in an extra set of clothes into the bag, squeeze out the air, and stuff it into her pocket.

Ruri had barely even started to pull one of her bags into the living area when she heard a knock on the door followed by a thud in the bedroom. Of course, her attention had shifted to the latter. But not long after the thud did she see a silver blur moving straight past her towards the door.

Her brain actually failed to register what just happened until she saw Hiroki opening the door to the apartment/dorm. She rested the luggage where she was standing and moved over to the foyer to see an aqua-haired girl on the other side of the gap where the door once was. She remembered seeing her earlier multiple times but she had no memory of her name. Ruri placed a hand on Hiroki's head in an attempt to calm her down, leaned over a bit and spoke, "Oh hi there, umm…I don't think I ever got your name."

Ringo raised an eyebrow at whatever language Gunther muttered in but ignored it afterwards. "Come on we better get changed into proper clothes before we start." She walked into the shower rooms, and dropped her gym bag on a bench. Even the shower rooms were big. Spreading out her clothing on the bench she started changing clothing.

Kagari remained on the bed, head buried in pillows.

Don't think about it don't think about it don't think about it

Naturally, the more she tried to avoid thinking about the implications of the single futon, the more she ended up thinking about it. She forced herself into an upright seating position, then hugged a pillow close to herself, forcing herself to calm down.

At some point, Hiroki had left the room for some reason or other. Kagari frowned. She hoped she hadn't freaked the cute girl out...

Already stretching and bending, Gunther said, "I actually came here ready so that I didn't have to change." Why wouldn't she? Beforehand she'd done her best to figure out what the Hope Complex was like: how big it was in terms of square meters (she had to know if the living spaces would be ridiculously cramped), what amenities it would have, if it would have a schedule for martial arts training... Upon finding out that a sports facility and gym was under the list of amenities available, she'd insisted on showing up in her gym wear, much to her mother's dismay. We're doing things my way, all right? You might've talked me into this, but we're doing it under my terms. She'd remembered how often she had to outlast her mother in a game of stubborness and this time, she'd won out.

Lyre was stunned by how fast the door opened she forgot what she was planing on saying. Staring in silence at the girl with silver hair who opened the door Lyre begun to lift her stuffed animal to her face to try and hide her embarrassment, but she stopped as another girl for within the room. Finally snapping out of her daze because of the other girls question she started to speak.

"Oh....Right my name is Lyre Cross and we never introduced ourselves since we road up here on different elevators, and umm....I thought it would be good to introduce ourselves before dinner." she said hardly taking a breath as everything just flew out of her mouth. "Oh this Cuddle fish" she took one of the stuffed cuttlefish's arms and waved it at the girls "and that's Arya." she finished well inclining her head down hallway towards hers and Arya's room.

"Oh, hi Cross-san. I'm Yukimura Hiroki, but you can just call me Hiroki, I guess." She wasn't entirely sure how to respond to the hand on her head, so she simply sidestepped a bit to move herself out from underneath it before turning to call to the other girl. "Kagari-san, one of the girls in the other room is here." She walked toward the bedroom, checking if Kagari was able to hear her through the pillows. As she poked her head into the smaller room, her eyes fell on Kagari's spilled luggage.

ohmygodisthatactually

Hiroki's eyes widened when she saw the Mami cosplay in the pile of clothing. She belatedly realized she had said her previous thought quietly, though certainly audibly.

As Kagari sat atop the bed in a daze, Hiroki popped into the room, before stopping at the door and staring at her luggage. Kagari wanted to die.

Oh lord she hates me doesn't she. Right now she's considering how best to destroy all my luggage and chase me away from here. What a way to start my idol career...

As Kagari was about to burst into tears, she heard a very soft sentence from Kagari's beautiful lips.

"Ohmygodisthatactually"

...that? What was "that"? What had Hiroki seen in her luggage?

Then she remembered the recently-finished Mami costume she had packed along on a whim.

Ah.

Ah.

Kagari kept her embarrassment from showing, mentally preparing herself for the inevitability of Hiroki's judgments

Ringo came out of the changing room, now in shorts and a t-shirt. "Well I'm not the type of person that thinks things through." She joined Gunther in the stretching exercises. "it was an impulse to come to the gym now, I didn't have anything better to do." Standing on one leg, she grabbed her foot and stretched her. Her eyes were fixated on the ceiling. She remained silent for a bit, and then turned back to Gunther. "Has it sunk in yet?" She asked as she switched feet. "I didn't see your performance, but you made it here so that means you must be good. To be good you have to work hard." When she was done stretching she took off her glasses and placed them in a corner. "The other girls seem odd, but they probably worked hard as well. I bet a few of them think this is all a dream, but this is real. Do you get what I'm saying?" Ringo asked with a hand under her chin.

Raising one arm and bending it behind her to reach her other arm's hand from below, Gunther thought about what Ringo said for a while. You're all odd, she decided. Out loud, she replied, "Just cause we got in doesn't mean we can slack off." After she finished her own warm-ups, she shrugged and added, "That was what I ended up thinking, anyway."
