Hiroki looked from side to side awkwardly until speaking again. She was embarrassed by her own reaction to it. She was, however, able to prevent herself from fangirling out loud, though whether this was due to restraint or nervousness was anyone's guess. "Um, it's just, you know, Madoka is probably my favorite show of all time, and Mami was always my favorite character and I always get mad whenever she, you know, because she's really awesome, and I didn't know you liked her that much too." She looked down for a moment. "You probably think I'm super obnoxious by now, so I'll just leave. . ." Hiroki began to turn away.

"By the way, you are odd as well." Ringo teased. "I agree though. We have to keep up our shape, keep working, keep singing." She positioned herself at the beginning of the track. Taking a deep breath she started running, not the mad running she was doing earlier but a practiced, paced run.

Merely rolling her eyes at the jest, and in contrast, she paced her self, walking at first. Gradually, she began to pick up the speed, brisk walking... Then jogging... and finally running at a steady rate, catching up to Ringo. "Somebody would say that we're all odd." Resisting the urge to snort or scoff, Gunther added, "but you're one of the oddest.

Arya's hand raised up in a simple greeting when Lyre mentioned her, her body leaning against the wall a bit further away from the aqua haired girl. She said nothing though, preferring to let Lyre, clearly more socially than her, do the talking. Her mind was on far different subjects anyway. The Library had to be absolutely massive if it took up 4 entire floors of a building as large as the Complex, literally millions upon millions of volumes and texts... probably even more, for either better or worse.

"It's probably gonna take me a while..." She griped to herself in her mind, looking on as the introductions went on. "Well... at least I have plenty of time to get started..."

Ringo pouted. "I like being odd." She steadied her pace to match Gunther's. "Being odd means different. Different means unique. Unique means cool." In her mind, that logic was flawless. She started down at her feet for a bit. Her shoes weren't even close to slipping. It was indeed a perfect track for running. "I don't think I'm odd in a bad way either." She continued. "Obviously if I got picked for this, they saw something special in me. They probably saw something special in you too. Maybe they liked your hair."

As Hiroki turned to leave, Kagari called out to her.

"Um!"

She brought her hands together and started fidgeting nervously.

"Well... See, I like Madoka too - it's not my favorite show, but it's one of my top ten for sure and I really like Mami for being a mature character and I have this weird habit of making costumes and... um... well... you said the other girls came to chat so now's not a good time but... um... afterwards...well..."

Kagari flushed red.

"Maybe...if...if you'd like to... would you like to... wear...it?"

Kagari looked down in embarrassment.

"I... I think it would look great on you...only if you want to, of course!"

Biting her lip, Kagari braced herself for rejection.

"Never said odd was bad. Being weird is fun cause it makes you different, da?" It didn't even seem like Gunther was breaking a sweat yet, though her breaths begun to come out in puffs. And speaking of her hair... Without slowing down, she bundled up her hair and, with a simple white band that was on her wrist, tied it up into a quick, messy ponytail. Not that she seemed to mind the mess. With every step, her flame-like hair bounced and swung, almost looking like it really were made of an intense blue blaze. That wasn't the only thing that bounced along, though-- with her mane out of the way, her furry penguin hat tied at her neck was fully visible and jerked, with an expression that almost seemed irritable even, as it hung onto its owner for dear life. "Definitely, they recognized something in each of us and picked us cause they liked those somethings," she added, unfazed by the knowledge that Ringo could see her favorite cap. Why should she be concerned? Penguins were adorable, anyway.

Something had been bothering Ringo for a bit. "You aren't from around here are you? Are you a foreigner?" She's spoken in a different language twice now. She gave a thoughtful look, looking over Gunther. Was the penguin on her neck a clue to her country of origin. "Wait don't tell me!" Ringo exclaimed excitedly. She kept running as she put a hand under her chin. Maybe around Europe, Asia? No, no that couldn't be it. There were no penguins there. That's it!

"Gun, you are originally from Antarctica aren't you!? You are an Eskimo." Ringo declared, a convinced grin on her face.

"YES - I mean, um, yeah, I think wearing it would be, um, cool." She flushed faintly at yet another slip. "I think we should go greet everyone, though. They're probably wondering what we're talking about in here." She waited for Kagari to move before fully leaving the room.

Lyre was certainly…energetic… The girl was either super excited or had a case of logorrhea. Well, she seemed to be a nice girl. She let Hiroki introduce herself and go get Kagari. As she put her hand back down to the side, she spoke up. "I'm Izayoi Ruri. Just call me Ruri or Ruri-chan."

However, what was going on in the background caused Ruri to raise her eyebrow again and tilt her head around. After a few seconds, she tilted her head back to face Lyre. Her ahoge began to rotate as she spoke up, "As you can see, we're sort of a weird bunch."

Kagari hid her pleasure at Hiroki's quick acceptance of her offer, then took a few deep, abdominal breaths to calm herself. Then she got off the bed and headed to the door, where she met the two new girls.

"Good afternoon."

As had been taught, she bowed deeply to a ninety degree angle, lingering slightly on the lowest part of the motion.

"I am Koizumi Kagari. You may call me Kagari, if you'd like."

She casually looked over the two girls while she was straightening her torso. One had aqua hair paired with green eyes, and was positively bursting with energy. The other seemed much more reserved and quiet, and had messy white hair framing piercing blue eyes. The latter seemed to bear more similarity to her own personality; she would likely get along with the white-haired girl more easily. She turned up her lips in a slight smile - subtle enough to not be inappropriately intimate, but also noticeable enough to avoid being impolite.

"Since we're going to be working together from now on, I sincerely look forward to making your acquaintance. Pardon my rudeness, but could I perhaps inquire for your names...?"

"...What the hell?" Arya shifted a bit on the wall at the sight of Ruri's bit of... hairodynamics, completely missing anything either her or Kaguri might've said. She simply kept her eyes fixed on that one, seemingly living strand of hair... "What is that thing? Everything else about her is completely fine, but that single strand of her hair is defying all laws of gravity. It's like a chopper blade or something..." She glanced at Lyre and Kaguri, then back at Ruri. "Am I really the only one whose seeing this? I can't be..."

"Pardon my rudeness, but could I perhaps inquire for your names...?"

"Huh?... oh, sorry..." The ashen haired teen managed in her stupor, shaking her head... though her eyes stayed fixed on their target, gazing past Kaguri into the apartment beyond... "I'm ....Arya" "Seriously though, it's right there- plain as day! ...how is no one else noticing this at all?"

After Kagari had introduced herself and asked the names of the girls in the hallway, she immediately seemed to notice that the silver-haired girl seemed to be fixing her gaze at her…or at least her general direction. At this moment, her ahoge shot up diagonally and then relaxed into an appearance reminiscent of a question mark.

"Is something the matter Arya?" She asked as the ahoge began to straighten up, mirror the previous question mark, and repeat the cycle.

"Seriously, how the hell is it doing that!?" "It's... nothing" She began shifting a bit more as she watched, grasping for how best to point out the spectacle that everyone and everyone's mother here else was obviously completely blind to. She brought her hand up, gingerly tapping her hair as she kept her eyes on what, from as far as she could deduce, was an alien life form. "It's just that I... kinda noticed that one strand your hair there..."

Honestly she hoped Kaguri and Lyre would just turn around and notice the damn thing already...

Arya dropped her hand back to her side, feeling like she wanted to facepalm. They couldn't be this dense, could they? It was right there. Right. There. Right in front of all their eyes. "It's... it kinda looks like it's moving of it's own accord...like it's almost alive or something." Even as she spoke though, she already had the sinking feeling that she would indeed be the only one who noticed anything amiss with the whole scene...

Kagari's confusion deepened.

"Yeah, it's an expressive ahoge. What about it?"

...Perhaps Arya had never seen that particular type of sentient hair before? It was pretty common as she was growing up... Perhaps Arya was new to the country?

"Nevermind..." She sighed, crossing her arms as her eyes shifted down to the floor. What the hell was an "Expressive Ahoge" and why was Kaguri so nonchalant about it? And apparently lyre too, it seemed... "So what... is this... normal around here or something? Hair that's practically alive? Talk about wierdos..." She instantly regretted the musing though. Of all people, she had no place to go labeling another as weird. Afterall, how weird was it to sometimes get the urge to burn something, anything at all, regardless of what it was, and not have it go away until you did? How weird was it to think that you'd go crazy if you didn't comply to it, to be bound hand and foot so much so that you're drawn in like a literal moth to flame anytime you see it? Cuase as far as Arya had always been able to tell, It obviously wasn't normal...

"Just forget I said anything..."

"Hmm" Lyre murmured with her head tilted as she watched the girl Kagari bow in greeting "How does she bend like that? It looks sooo uncomfortable." she was brought out as Arya started to talk about the green haired girls Ruri's hair or more specifically a single strand of hair. "Hmm...whats she talking about all I see is hair." she pondered as she watch Arya and Kagari go back and forth talking about an ahoge "Oh so that's what those are called never asked anyone what they were." snapping out of her thoughts once Arya said to forget about it she remembered that she still needed to introduce her self to Kagari.

"Oh right, I'm Lyre Cross you call me Lyre. Lyre is fine, and this is Cuddle Fish." she said well smiling at Kagari well waving one of the arms of her stuffed animal.

Hiroki just sort of sat back and watched the scene unfold in front of her. She was still recovering from the veritable hurricane of awkwardness that had occurred in the bedroom - there I go with the phrasing again, I need to stop that - and therefore didn't feel overly confident or willing to socialize at that moment. We'll have plenty of time to get to know each other. I don't have to rush things, and it's not like there are instruments here. Or are there? Hiroki cleared her throat softly to get the attention of those in the room. "Um, do you know if they have instruments around here? Like guitars and basses and stuff." Ugh, that sounded stupid. Whatever.

"G-Gun--? And, no, I'm not an Eskimo," Gunther said, bewildered by her guess. Why would she even think that? "... and they don't live in Antartica, either," she added, with an afterthought. Sure, it was a general term for aboriginal people in, say, Greenland and Russia, but... she wasn't of Inuit descent. Instead of giving the answer, she kept running, breathing through her mouth. Anyway, Ringo did tell Gunther not to tell her.

Kagari turned her head in response to Hiroki's question.

"Hmmm? Instruments? Well...I didn't see any, and I doubt there any in the room, but..."

Unable to contain herself, Kagari outstretched her arms as if trying to measure the celing with her armspan and twirled around while laughing.

"We're in the Hope Complex! The one and only headquarters of YUUSHA Productions, the biggest name in the music industry!! There are bound to be instruments somewhere in this huge building, I'm sure of it!"

She flashed Hiroki a dazzling smile as she finished twirling. Then she realised how excitable she had been acting, and her grin broke. Kagari lowered her head in shame, bowing to nobody in particular at an angle that broke ninety degrees, her head almost touching the ground.

"I apologise for my previous indiscretion. I shall endeavour to keep my vulgar tendencies in check from now on."

"What you aren't? I thought with the penguin..." Her face was one of utter shock. If not Antarctica then where is she from? Needless to say Geography isn't Ringo's strong point. She kept running side by side with Gunther still pondering over the origins. Her breath was becoming heavier but the riddle kept her mind away from it, making it easier to run. Wait! There are penguins in hot places as well! Maybe she's from... "Egypt! Or at least from the African continent right!? There are penguins there too I saw it in a documentary!" A confident grin appeared across her face but then vanished again. "Wait no, maybe Brazil? Germany? Haiti?... Gun where are you from?"

... This girl.

Knew nothing.

About penguins.

Gunther was dismayed. If it weren't for the fact that Ringo was rather sporty and, Gunther had to admit, ballsy, she would've lost all respect for the energetic roommate. Resisting the sudden urge to freeze and stare blankly, she replied rather faintly: "Penguins would die in such places with blistering heat... anyway, my family came from Russia."

"Russia?" She blinked twice. "Huh... I'm pretty confident in my geography." Ringo said between breaths. "I've only been outside of the country once actually. Were you born there, or have you ever been there? What's it like?" She asked curiously. When she was very little, her family had visited America. But otherwise, her country was all she knew. Maybe I'll get to travel as an idol. I could get to see the world. She pondered the idea.
