"I didn't think that was vulgar. There's nothing wrong with getting excited." She was really mixed up with some strange people, wasn't she? A girl who had never even heard of an ahoge, the girl carrying around her "cuddle fish," and now Kagari thinking it was rude to be excited? I wonder what they think of me. "You're probably right, though. After we get unpacked and stuff," she said with another glance toward Kagari, "I want to go and find that. I need to practice." She was a decent singer, but she really loved playing all instruments; it was so much easier to focus on just your playing, and you can actually hear yourself properly when doing so.

Only one thing came to mind. "Cold," she said immediately, on impulse. Truthfully, she hadn't really gone to Russia enough to know what it was like there. When they did visit, it was back when she was a little girl. Consequently, she didn't really have much memories of her home country other than it being cold... which was, she was painfully aware, extremely vague.

"So like cold even during the summer, or just super cold during the winter?" She asked curiously. Looking ahead, she wasn't much further from finishing the track. Time passes by fast when you are talking to people. And even if she was breathing hard, the run seemed a lot easier to do than it normally was too. Taking a longer breath than usual she picked up the pace and started racing towards the finish line. "Let's go Gun, I wanna see you break a sweat!"

Ruri did not understand what everyone was talking about. Expressive ahoge?

At this thought, her ahoge had stopped moving. Ruri rubbed at her ahoge, confused, while the others continued to talk. As soon as Hiroki had mentioned unpacking, though, Ruri's attention returned to the others.

"If you guys want, we can explore the building after we finish unpacking. We do still have quite a bit of time before dinner, I think." Her thoughts then redirected herself to a question she never did get the answer to. "Oh yeah…Kagari, Hiroki. Did you guys happen to find a bookshelf? I have a lot of books in that bag that I need to put somewhere." She said as she pointed towards the bag she had rolled a bit inwards earlier.

Kagari tilted her head in thought.

"Well... I didn't see a bookshelf in there, but..."

Kagari bit her thumb and tapped her feet while thinking, a long-standing habit.

"If we shifted out the futon in the wardrobe, we could probably repurpose one of the higher shelves as a bookcase by removing the dividers and re-installing them horizontally in the place where the futon was housed. It won't be able to fit a lot of books, though, maybe... fifteen or so? Would that be sufficient, Izayoi-san?"

She shrugged. "Just cold. I don't remember much about Russia other than it being cold; haven't been there since I was a kid." And when Ringo hastened towards the finish, Gunther ducked her head and pressed on faster, too. "No challenge!" she breathed, though it was half a challenge in itself, and half a complaint. Running wouldn't really make her break a sweat, not really. It was one of the easiest sports in her opinion. "We should do something else after," she added as she passed by Ringo again, overtaking her.

She ran, and ran, and ran, and eventually crossed the finish line! But she was unable to catch up to Gunther after all that. Ringo stood still for a bit, one hand on her chest as she tried to catch her breath. When she was done her face shifted to a serious tone and she took a step closer to Gunther. For a second her face was just a centimeter away from Gunther's. She stepped back and sighed.

"You didn't sweat, what are you some kind of Russian robot?" Twirling her hair a bit she looked away. "You said you wanted to do something else, got something in mind? We still have time until dinner." Thinking about it, she should be unpacking her things back at the dorm. But that's such a bore. I'm having fun now.

"Fifteen or so, huh. That's nowhere near enough…I was able to fit over 40 into that suitcase. You'd be surprised how many books you could neatly fit into a single suitcase. I could try and work around that by stacking the books on their covers…oh wait, you did say horizontally…" She sighed as she realized something. I made a mistake. Bringing the entire main series was definitely a bad idea. I should have just taken the stargazing and astronomy books.

"Oh well, I'll figure it out later…somehow…" Her ahoge seemed to almost deflate as it hung down.

"Hmm...books, books...Oh, that's right." Lyre said snapping her fingers at the last part. Turning to Arya You wanted to go the library right? Then lets go." She said with a smile as she hurried Arya towards teh elevators. Stopping part ways she turned back to Arya with a confused look and asked "Umm...What floor was that on again?"

Kagari froze on the spot as Ruri's ahoge drooped. There were very few things Kagari was weak to. Ahoges in distress were one of them.

Kagari sent her mind into overdrive.

"Well, maybe we could dismantle half of the wardrobe and convert it into a full bookcase, then just use the other half of the wardrobe for its intended purpose. That way there'll be enough space to put at least fifty books, and we can put other things like photos and other personal decorations on top of it. Of course, that'll mean we'll have less space to put our clothes... and as idols, we'll have to maintain a lot of different outfits, so that might be a problem in the future... Do you want to go through with this?"

"We could just ask for a bookshelf." Hiroki was surprised that this solution had not come up in the discussion yet, and it showed in her tone. "I'm sure a big company like YUSAPRO can afford one." She looked back and forth between the people in the room. "Anyway, my stuff is all over the place. I really need to at least get my clothes in something other than a duffel bag, or they'll get all wrinkly." With that, she began to withdraw from the cluster of girls in the living room and head back to the bedroom.

Kagari wanted to die of embarrassment. Such a simple solution. Naturally, she had thought of it, but had immediately dismissed it as impolite to ask one's hosts for more amenities, especially when the girls were already so well provided for, if the space of the room was any indication.

Noting that Lyre had pulled Arya off to the elevator, she shut the door and turned to Ruri.

"Well then, Izayoi-san, perhaps we could ask Akayomi-san for a bookshelf later, as Yukimura-san had suggested. For now, at least, we should complete our unpacking."

She turned and walked back in to the bedroom, where she picked up her toppled suitcase and started removing her personal effects. She took out a sewing kit and placed it on the table, then walked over to the wardrobe to remove several of the clothes hangers. With gentle fingers, she removed the the Tomoe Mami cosplay outfit and placed it on a hanger, using a piece of string to tie the feather cap to the top of the hanger, then hanged it on the backrest of a nearby chair. Then, she removed the second outfit: a singular, one-piece white dress, with white stockings and white elbow-length gloves. The skirt of the dress was covered in various laces and frills in a criss-crossed pattern, and the upper portion of the dress was done in a medieval Western style, with a low neckline designed to provide a modest-yet-seductive peek of her chest. The oufit also included a white veil, made of silk. All in all, it was reminiscent of a wedding dress, less the bridal train and designed for comfort. For this particular outfit, Kagari carefully placed the main dress on the hanger, then sealed it up in a dress carrier, placing it into the wardrobe. She then folded the gloves and stockings neatly and sealed them in a transparent bag, then carefully placed them into the topmost of the three drawers in the wardrobe.

Finally, she packed all her underclothes and casual wear into that same drawer, then closed it and hung the Mami outfit in the wardrobe. Done unpacking, she turned around and sat on the bed, watching the others.

What. Why was she even-- what. But before Gunther could lean backward, Ringo pulled away. слава богу, or else I might've bashed her face in, she thought, rolling her eyes while Ringo turned away. "Running is too easy. It's something I've been doing for as long as I can remember. Before you get into the meat of Taekwondo, you have to jog a few rounds before warm-ups and conditioning," she explained. "Truthfully, I was hoping we could do something more strenuous... And challenging. Da?"

Ringo stretched her arms upwards closing her eyes as she did. She opened them again and hopped shortly. "Alright I'm ready, Gun MK 3.14!" She gave a mocking grin as she said it. "I'll rise up to the challenge." This girl is way more athletic than me. But I can't just turn down a challenge! She closed her hands into a fist. That's not the way Ringo Roll works.

Gun MK 3.14-- Gunther stiffened. One could almost see the word "Gun" piling on top of the girl's shoulders and hear a KA-THUNK as an also concrete "Gun MK 3.14" followed, nearly throwing the pile of stone and idol off balance. "Where are you getting all these nicknames-- never mind," she said, cutting herself short. "You said that you play volleyball, da? We ought to find the court and see who's best at it." Gunther regained her composure, crossing her arms coolly as though she weren't fazed by the new nickname.

Oh this is too good. Ringo gave a wide grin, showing the whites of her teeth. "You're on." She eagerly accepted the challenge. Running to grab her things, she quickly came back to Gunther and pointed towards the door. "The sports facilities are in the lower floors. Let's go." She took the lead, going through the gym, down the stairs to the tennis court. Inspecting the net, she concluded. "Even if it isn't a real court we can raise the net, and the lines match up." Raising the net up, and then throwing aside her bag she then went searching for a ball. She found a storage room filled to the brim with footballs, basketballs, tennis balls and...

RINGO BINGO!

Volleyball! She grabbed three and kicked one to the other side of the court. "You can serve first."

Picking it up, Gunther managed to look nonchalant as she dribbled the ball a while. "Game." With a quick upward movement, she tossed the ball up casually.

And with legs seemingly like high-power pistons, she leapt up high into the air and slammed the ball Ringo's way with one hand, sharply and powerfully.

"Floor 55 to 59" Arya answered simply. Her voice lacked whatever trace amount of enthusiasm it might have had earlier when she asked about it. Honestly she just wanted to spend a while alone searching for her answers... which, come to think of... "You don't have to stick with me in there, by the way..." She told Lyre, leaning against the wall of the cabin as she watched the doors slowly close. "I'm probably gonna take a long while, so you can feel free to go off and do what you want to do... I don't wanna feel like I'm anchoring you or something."

Asking for a bookshelf was probably the best course of action. "Alright, I guess it's best to do that then."So, Ruri decided to stop dwelling on that leading to her ahoge going back upright. Seeing as Arya and Lyre had already left and Kagari had shut the door, she decided it would be best to unpack her clothes.

She picked up the second suitcase which had all of her clothing she had and moved it over to the bedroom where Kagari was unpacking. As soon as Kagari had finished unpacking, she opened up her luggage and started unpacking her own clothes.

Inside her bag was multiple variants of the clothes she was wearing now combined with her underwear, socks, and pajamas, neatly folded. She put her clothes into the next two shelves in the wardrobe beneath the ones Kagari used before making her way to the bed, sitting on it, and then falling back with her arms spread out.

"Your not anchoring me down ,after all we're not connected with a rope or something.Unless we are connected with some sort of invisible tether which binds us together." Lyre said while rocking back and forth on her heels. "Even if that was true you still wouldn't be anchoring me down or anything. I never do something that I don't want to do. Got It?" She continued, smiling and point her finger at Arya to emphasize that last part. "But if your uncomfortable with me hanging around I can go and do something else if you want." she finished meekly, while she started to stroke her hair again.

Hiroki took her clothes out of the bag remaining in the bedroom and placed them in a big pile on the bed, while she refolded them to fit in a dresser rather than a bag. She performed the task somewhat sloppily despite the care she took doing so, but the clothes still fit within the drawers reasonably and without too much cramming. The only exceptions were a couple somewhat formal-looking dresses, which were placed on hangers in the wardrobe without too much ado, and one particular garment one wouldn't quite expect: a red hooded sweatshirt that was positively battered, and entirely too large for Hiroki. She handled it almost gingerly as she hung it up. She grinned eagerly looking at the Mami cosplay already hung up before turning back to finish unpacking.

Hiroki exited the bedroom and took a few more tubes of posters out of the already-opened bag, taping them up in a way that ensured they wouldn't tear if and when she needed to move them. That bag only contained a favorite blanket and pillow outside of the posters. She decided to leave the last bag for later; it didn't contain anything that needed to be dealt with immediately or that she was worried about damaging by accident. She took the blanket and pillow back into the bedroom and set them on the bed in a space not currently occupied by her roommates. She bounced up and down on her heels once, then said, "Shall we?"

Arya would've said something more, try to reassure that she wasn't the exact issue... but in all honesty she would only be lying to both herself and to Lyre if she said she wouldn't prefer solitude while she researched. Even besides that, somethings were best kept hidden; there was no doubt in her mind that it would only cause... problems in the future if her roomate were to learn anything.

"No, It's not you, Lyre..." She said, eyes notably fixed on the numbers as they began their descent rather than on the other girl. "It's just that...If I find what I'm after, I'm probably just gonna spend the entire time in there instead of being able to explore with you...sorry." She turned and looked her in the eyes for the next part however. "And what I'm going to be looking for... Let's just say It's a touchy subject I'd rather keep in private... so it's not you... really, it isn't. It's more that I just want some time alone with my own thoughts for a while..."

Lyre nodded and gave a weak "Kay" as she slumped back into one of the corners of the elevator raising her stuffed animal to cover her face and continued the ride in silence . Once the elevator reached its destination and the door opened she spoke again "Umm...I guess I will see you at dinner then. I hope you find what your looking for. If you get done and have time I'll probably be at that bar place or whatever it was. They probably have snacks there or something." she mumbled from behind her cuddle fish, doing her best to not to sound sad.

Raising both hands above her head, Gunther bounced the ball back.

... Or so she thought. It seemed that she'd miscalculated and positioned her hands a little too low, letting the volleyball sail overhead. Where's the ball-- aw, дерьмо́! Realization came to her and she cursed to herself. Turning around, she saw the ball just bouncing to a stop as though it were mocking her. "... Lucky shot," she said coolly, pretending to be unaffected from losing the first point. Rolling the ball back to Ringo, though, she tried to psych herself up for the next round. But if she were to be honest, she was really better at something like kicking and punching a person rather than something small like a beach ball.
