noxus1010
title pretty much says it, but specifically, is it (going to be) an hm, like cut and require a badge, or something like headbutt that can be used in the field if a pokemon learns it somehow? also, slightly relates, whats the go with heathers fathers(forgot his name) pokemon in the cave south of shades powerplant? and the spiderwebs in the adventurine forest? and adventurine forest in general? much thanks in advance! Simon
Welcome to the forums noxus. Do make the time to read the Community Rules and make a introductory thread in the Grand Hall if you want to. Anyways, for the sake of not spoiling those who may not be at the same point in the game as you, I'll leave the answer to your questions in a spoiler below. 1. Rock Climb will require a badge to be used outside of battle. You can even try it for yourself as there are mons that learn the move naturally and cannot use the move to scale walls. Ame will implement the feature soon enough. 2. Heather's Father, whose name is Corey, released several mons to the West such as Skrelp, Nidorina, Skunktank, and Grimer. That being said, you are able to get Nidorina and Croagunk from the cave I believe. You need Rock Smash to enter the Cave but you may also need Strength as well so be wary of that fact. 3. I'm not sure what you're asking about for the Spiderwebs in Aventurine Forest as well as Aventurine Forest as a whole, but there is alot more to the place. Those spiderwebs can be cleared by slathering Honey on the odd-looking trees and defeating the Pinsir that appears alongside the Heracross. Logs can be destroyed by Bouffalant and Pinsirs as well. If you want a clearer explanation as it requires a very in-detailed explanation for the Aventurine Forest, watch this video below. 3:22 for Aventurine Forest and 16:45 for Nidorina. Knight_Teutonic
The HM rock climb will require a badge to use it, but neither the badge or the HM are accessible. Good news is that recently, HMs have been modified so they can be erased like TMs, so it's not the traditional HMs that we all know and hate.
