Raindrop Valkyrie
You can do whatever. Explain what you think of the selection etc... ((Sorrow did mention that it involved the Divine Knights and... most people know of them in Graterras and at least part of their legends. Many don't get to actually met them though lol.)), and you can choose to talk to others back in that room when they arrive if you want. ((all the characters selected thus far are in the staging area where Helen is. You can arrive whenever you want.)) It is really up to you folks what you want to do as long as it isn;t trying to beat the snot out of each other while you are in the Hall of Sorrows. The Clash Only begins once you met your mentors. ((or the Divine Knights. That I am looking forward to... oh how I am looking forward to it indeed.))
Support Squad Felicity Posted July 10, 2015 Support Squad Share Posted July 10, 2015 So yeah, took the liberty of explaining Varicks views so far. Also he said is p much what I think for how Huk sorted us bar Body. I think that's based on how Stoic a character may seem.
Kurotsune
I'd question how someone completely tells a personality apart by just looking at their eyes - Specially when a smart person, especially a good schemer, would make it a point not to have a suspicious expression on, but I'm going to wait and see how this plays out. Support Squad Felicity Posted July 10, 2015 Support Squad Share Posted July 10, 2015 Just going by your posts I didn't realise Matthew was actively trying to avoid suspicion. Still, Varick has seen many men come and go, smart and stupid, and it's not like he actually knows Matthew is incredibly intelligent. He's just suspicious, which he would have been anyway were they on opposite sides.
Raindrop Valkyrie
In case it's not clear in the post... The actual purpose of the Firing compound in Black Dragon is it is just enough of a base that it doesn't neutralize the acid, but keeps it from destroying the inside of their stomach and the rest of the organs and systems on the way out of their body. It actually entirely dissolves by the time it reaches the mouth which results in the acid "breath". Basically... it my way of explaining how the heck it works. Their outer skin and most of them is immune to Acid, but the delicate balance is inside the body is still affected by it to some degree. ((never lethally, but it keeps the inner systems from getting clogged etc...)). Also... maybe I just wanted to it make it more disgusting sounding... who knows? I mean... the acid has to come from somewhere, why not a special gland housed in the stomach that causes them to projectile vomit Acid at foes? Sounds like fun to me. Code: PIRULUK
So at this point, idek anymore whether Helen is just playing the fool or is legit insane ._. We'll see how she develops, I suppose.
Raindrop Valkyrie
I mean... Insane is quite the possibility. I figured she was more level-headed personally and jsut putting on a show cause she can. ((Insane would be pretty fitting coincidence with Headmaster Ignacio being her mentor however... he is like a whole other level of bat-shit crazy. He isn't exactly a human kind of insane.)). I jsut find it weird that the creator of the character has no idea. I usually know the levels of sanity a character of mine has when I write them. So that's interesting to know I suppose lol. Raindrop Valkyrie
Same, but I never had it happen with sanity. Just because I know when I want someone to not be insane. Then again... Sanity is a bit different in Graterras sometimes I guess XD> It is different from our world after all.

Raindrop Valkyrie
Oh... I totally forgot... oops? Sorry about that. I was still busy getting the assignments done so it slipped my mind entirely.
Noir
I wonder if I'm supposed to do anything. Totally not being overly subconscious like it's a killer responsibility Last I spoke I just "followed someone to the door." Raindrop Valkyrie
Once again... oops. You can just pop into the scene whenever you wish. Snow doesn't mind fighting multiple opponents.
Flux
...When do I get my birdie? Edit: Also, are there any gaps in Dust's armor for a sword to fit through? Kinda curious so I can think of a way for Vayne to actually fight him.
Kurotsune
I'm sorry for my sporadic appearances, I've been reading the posts but I've barely been replying. I don't see Matthew as the action-man as much as he is the one who quietly observes, so you can simply pretend that he's in some corner somewhere watching the others. 90% of the time that'll be the case. I'll try to make it a point to check this out at least once per day, though.
Raindrop Valkyrie
Hmmm, that won't fly with Snow. She'll attack him. At least as she deals with Zagi. Snow... isn't the kindest to those that sit around or observe, especially in her "battlefield" as she calls it. She wasn't known as the Lady of WI\inter for no reason. She is cold as ice and let's no man or woman sit around if they are near her and a foe. She simply will not allow it. All will feel the Winter's Cold sting. She also mostly toying with you guys on that team at the moment because she sees about 0 potential in you. Snow has never once liked a character right away ((and that trend will probably continue.)). But, yea. SHe will keep Matthew from just observing, if you going to watch her fight... you're going to be a part of it.
Code: PIRULUK
The man seemed to just ignore his existence entirely, not even saying a word to him. Even though they were supposedly on the same team, he didn't even give him the time of day.Uhhh I don't think you should do this, dictating what another character does is considered bad RP ettiquette, even if it does fit in with said character's personality. Explaining that Matthew did not even say a word to Zagi is an example of this, albeit a minor one.

Explaining that Matthew did not even say a word to Zagi is an example of this, albeit a minor one. I assumed he was talking about Matthew's actions before Zagi even said his statement, as in Matthew walked into the room and just sort of acted like Zagi wasn't there by not saying anything, which is supported by the post. I also thought that it was worded somewhat strangely (That line probably should have come before Zagi's statement), but I think that's what he intended. EDIT: Also Hukuna, my questioooonnnss.... ...When do I get my birdie? Edit: Also, are there any gaps in Dust's armor for a sword to fit through? Raindrop Valkyrie
I don't know what you are asking in the first one... Hmmm, you'd have to find out the answer to the second in-game. I'm not going to tell you out right cause that is no fun for me.
Flux
But I don't really know what his armor looks like... Anyway, the first question realates to Krov, which is Vayne's raven and one of his signature skills as a ranger. When and how will he show up? Explaining that Matthew did not even say a word to Zagi is an example of this, albeit a minor one. Well, from my interpretation, he was referring to Matthew disregarding both of them as he came into the room. His character interprets that as Matthew disregarding him completely, and that's fine. If he's straight-up saying Matthew did that, then no. ((In fact, Matthew wouldn't have; He'd observe both, though he'd pay more attention to Snow.)) Kurotsune
I'm kind of curious why this attack is unescapable. It sounds to me like Matthew could just dodge to the side she isn't in.
