Seehan
Give us that dank move tutor or relearner so I cant evolve my Piloswine ;-; I have this policy of not using bred pokemon in my playthrough team (egg moves make the game too easy), but this in turn prevents me from evolving. Ancient Power isnt that abusable or good a move in the first place, so please consider adding a tutor for it
Fumble
The Tutor is available at the end of the game if you finish the Krisitiline Help Quests, but... This sounds incredibly reasonable. Although using her specifically would be a problem for numerous reasons. Perhaps I could make her sister teach you one move. (She's a move tutor in training so she's not that good) But then after that you have to wait about a week/few days for her to try again. This would of course be up until you unlock the true move tutor. Does this sound fair? How do you guys feel about this idea? After thinking about it, I do agree that after the 7th badge.... well it's quite a bit late to get the move tutor. So...
Seehan
really?? thanks! EDIT: wait, by end of the game do you mean not released yet? Edited May 28, 2015 by Seehan
Cepheus
after you beat Angie it is the end of the Episode... but you enter what is commonly known as "post-game"... you can still run around and do all the things! And with Angie beaten you can enter the Request-Center (if you have the key that is) and fulfill the Requests there The last Request "???" unlocks the Move-Relearner but you have to do the "Research" request before the "???" unlocks Technically it is content from the next Episode... but you can do it and unlock the move-relearner who will then be at Sheridan Village

LeonTakashi
becareful tho, the ??? request is pretty hard since you fight a boss that has pokemon that goes from lvl 15- to like level 90 but dont worry they're the same type of pokemon just... higher leveled. Seehan
unfortunately i was dumb enough to get rid of x-scissor earlier on, under the impression i could reteach it by tm or move relearner (you can't.). wasnt too hard in the end though, mawile takes care of them fairly easily if you give it a little support
LeonTakashi
unfortunately I got rid of x scissor for Feint Attack too on Greninja as well and cant teach it to him again with the X Scissor TM

Seehan
the problem with greninja is that it has way too many viable moves. my current set is surf, water shuriken, night slash, and extrasensory. having a move pool that includes bounce, x-scissor, substitute, spikes, shadow sneak, mat block, and hydro pump, you end up having to cut certain moves for others. remember, i only cut x-scissor under the assumption i could get it back, allowing me to rotate between moves as necessary. evidently i was wrong, but my current set is still extremely good for team coverage. perhaps x-scissor has been useful for you (not sure how, considering greninja has always been a suboptimal physical attacker), but dont assume the same for everyone else. It's great that we can have Greninja go both ways with the moves it has access to. While true that Greninja's attack stat isn't the better of the two, a physical set can still work based on nature and team needs. I carry a physical set on mine (Night Slash, Water Shuriken, Bounce, X-Scissor) and it has served me well despite the challenges of Intense Mode. Then again, it really does depend on what the team needs to be successful overall.
Developers Jan Posted May 29, 2015 Developers Share Posted May 29, 2015 unfortunately i was dumb enough to get rid of x-scissor earlier on, under the impression i could reteach it by tm or move relearner (you can't.). wasnt too hard in the end though, mawile takes care of them fairly easily if you give it a little support Unfortunately, this is something that isn't practical.. I can't give specific types of Pokemon new moves- well I can-. Okay, here's the problem with this. If I let Froakie learn X-Scissor again through move-tutoring, that means every Froakie in existence will be able to learn it through move tutoring. This goes for the other shadows as well. Doing this will probably remove the specialness and the urge of even capturing them. So.. idk. It's a one shot deal with these things.
Lord Tobirama
FYI for other people that need the move tutor earlier on, just download episode 3 or 4 and she'll be in a house in sheridan. that's what i did to evolve my piloswine cause I needed it for Angie lol. Just make sure you're in an area in your save that was their during ep. 3 or 4. I wouldnt go anywhere past goldenleaf I would say cause the game will crash if you do

Reverse Candies are pretty cheap to buy anyways, just farm breeder for cash and then buy till u have enough. I replace x scissor only cuz I'm going to replace it with night slash anyway once I get the tutor so might as well learn Feint Attack, and I figured it would help vs the physic types. If you really want a Greninja with X Scissor then just redo the Goldenwood Incident and catch another one and purify, only to those who hasn't got hit with the bug if they did then they gotta wait till Jan fixes it D: Edited May 29, 2015 by LeonTakashi
