Peepeepoopoo
Now, would the Pokemon Essentials AI switch out to something to hit Shedinja with or would they just sit there trying to use the same moves over and over again?

That would be interesting to test out. If they switch, it won't be quite as broken.

Peepeepoopoo
That's right, I forgot about field effects. Shedinja could be useful against certain teams but you'd have to know their Pokemon and movepools before the battle to know the extent of Shedinja's usability. Packing Shedinja could very well be a waste of a party space.

Yeah, you'd have to choose carefully when to send it out, and have a Pokemon to set up rain/sun to cancel out any hail/sand and one with Misty/Grassy Terrain to get rid of field effects. I'd say most gym leaders have at least one Pokemon Shedinja can set up on though.
ShadowStar
Yeah Sheinja is all about the timing of being sent out.
