alaneapen
What typing is the Pulse Swalot and is it more physically defensive. I took it down with my Magnezone, analytic and the factory boost powering up my charge beam, getting the sp atk boost. And analytic and factory boost +1 discharge destroyed it. Guzam
It's Water/Poison Its defense and special defense stats are the exact same at a neutral nature with the same EV's and same IV's. The base stats are the same.
alaneapen
Explains why the sludge wave ohkoed my Mamoswine. Reset after that realization.
sandy
not sure about the attack/defensive capabilities but its moves are Sludge Wave Infestation Discharge Recover and it has a poison based item that heals it for a decent amount each turn Edited June 4, 2015 by sandy
Guzam
I could post the base stats of it, but I'm not sure if that would really be allowed or not.
sandy
how do you know those? did you obtain them legally?
alaneapen
So basically my magnezone was actually the only reliable Pokemon that could have walled it. Thankful for choosing that Pokemon.
Guzam
All you need is rpgmaker to find the base stats. Nothing illegal here, just looking at the games coding. In fact if you consider that illegal, then the people who found the base stats of all pokemon did illegal things.
sandy
i dont consider that illegal, thought you might of hacked it or something didn't think that's all it took
Knight_Teutonic
Frustraring thing about the PULSE swalot is that you can't read the PULSE's label. The machine disappears after defeating the damn thing.
ShadowStar
Oddly enough PULSE Swalot never used Sludge Wave on me. I didn't even know it was Poison/Water and had Water Absorb. I even had my Gardevoir out the whole time,,,
Lord Drakyle
Well for me Swalot wasn't too hard after my frst battle with it (in which half my team were fainted) I discovered how I would beat it when I used a Seaking and it used Soak on Swalot next thing ya know boom Swalot is being torn up by the poisonous water, just stall it out at that point and you are good to go. brianwee2013
It has water absorb as an ability since my gardevoir traced it, and sludge wave seemed to be super effective on it (cause ditto). idk i guess it is poison/rock.
primrose
the PULSE swalot is water/poison-type, yes. its ability is water absorb, which allows it to get healed by the field each turn (due to it being a grounded part-poison), but i'm not sure by what increment, and the field effects page doesn't state it (i'd guess 1/16, though). it didn't hold an item, since it's PULSE, and the moveset sandy gave up there is right iirc. i also remember it being pretty bulky. Administrators Amethyst Posted June 5, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 5, 2015 Frustraring thing about the PULSE swalot is that you can't read the PULSE's label. The machine disappears after defeating the damn thing. Oops. That's ultimately intended, but it doesn't help y'all trying to figure out the PULSE numbers, so I'll throw you a bone that won't be in the game itself. Swalot was #
Foamy
None of my Pokémon could power through it. The most I could do was around 30% with a crit Dragon Pulse from Sniper Kingdra AFTER A SP. DEF DROP.So I had to whittle it down with a Leech Seed from Roserade followed by Will-O-Wisp + Curse from Cofagrigus. Dead Machamp continues to make me proud. Global Mods Ice Cream Sand Witch Posted June 7, 2015 Global Mods Share Posted June 7, 2015 This was the most difficult Pulse, for me. Before it was the Avalugg because of defenses + field, but this is basically all that + it heals itself. After a few tries, I eventually managed to beat it by using Misty Terrain to get rid of the healing, then paralysis + Discharge with Ampharos. I've noticed the Pulses have been getting more tanky. The earlier ones seemed to focus more on power, while the Avalugg and Swalot are almost impossible to hit for decent damage (plus the Swalot heals). bepe
Those pulse tangrowths were pretty tanky as well.
ShadowStar
PULSE Tangrowth was hardest for me since Iw as unprepared at the time. Chimchar.Monferno came through tho
Global Mods Ice Cream Sand Witch Posted June 7, 2015 Global Mods Share Posted June 7, 2015 They were the second-easiest for me. Braixen took them out in two hits. (Easiest was Muk because I scored a critical hit with Psychic)
sound of silence
I found PULSE swalot somewhat easy, since I had walrein change the field to the ice field through the use of blizzard. Set up leech seed with roserade, then sent out swampert and spammed bulldoze until it was dead (Since EQ would've reset the field and left me in all sorts of trouble). The tangrowths are easily the hardest, since you don't really have much in the way of strong moves/field changing effects at the time outside of numel and a few of the fire starters. ShadowStar
Yeah if worse came to worse, I could have used Mist from Mamo to change the field.
ArmoredGuardian
So I'm guessing PULSE # 2 was Muk???
ShadowStar
With the numbers? No. First prototype: Magneton00 - Mr.Bigglesworth01 - ?? (most likely Earthquake related)02 - Avalugg03 - Swalot04 - Muk05 - Tangrowth06 - Probably Camerupt07 - Abra08 - ?? (either Mr. Mime or whatever's keeping everyone sleepy in Agate) 09 - ?? (either Mr. Mime or whatever's keeping everyone sleepy in Agate) 10 - Clawitzer
