As the poll suggests the types you have to pick 2 choices. If you pick a insanely hard combo, I am allowed to ask for starters to be hacked in.

(Not much a rule but a clarification) To clear the mix up, what I am refering as a cross-mono type means I use two separate types and use pokemon that are the selected types.

To the reason why I made this challenge: I am ready to destroy my sanity which is gone from these forums even further.

I actually created this challenge myself and I did a run through pokemon y with dark and bug.

Rules:

1. I am allowed to use a pokemon which can evolve to the type selected.

2. No healing in battle in my first 3 trys, after that, I am only use the potions.

3. I will lose to the impossible bosses.

Winners in types: Fairy and Grass

Fairy starter: Klefki

Cool, good luck with your run. I'm sure it'll be a challenge but hopefully fun too!

Not sure about rule 3 as it isn't really a duotype(?) if you go beyond your two types . It's way more rewarding if you can find a strategy to win with just your chosen types, even if it takes a lot of attempts and a lot of luck. But maybe it'll still work out.

Nah, Igglybuff isn't THAT terrible of a Pokemon and if you get any other type that's not ice or ghost then you can supplement it until you get more Pokemon.

Perish Song Igglybuff is really good, but the AI is a bit smart and actually switches on the last turn of Perish Song. Still, you can do whatever you want while it switches.

I gotta agree with the folks saying your rule number 3 sounds like the less rewarding choice so I think you should devise a strategy instead

Either way, voted for Electric and Flying because why not, they're cool
