Good/Decent water pokemon

it depends on what you think of as a 'good' water type, I wouldn't be able to make any suggestions without knowing what you ideally look for in a water type, also I notice you are new and if you haven't already should introduce yourself at the grand hall

Many Pokémon we start learning to use in Pokémon Reborn, we usually would ignore them, they get used because we haven't got much options and we find that they are actually decent Pokémon.

Squirtle as itself isn't that good, but oh boy if you have the energy to reset for a shiny one. It's almost as if the TMNT Squirtle had an increase of 100 in each of it's base stats. It's that badass.

Well, you can also do the Magma Gang sidequest and get a buizel, but then again, Idk what you think it's a good water type. Imo, buizel is pretty good.

OR finish the Aqua Gang sidequest and get a carvanha.

Good special attacking water pokemon are rather strong and so aren't introduced near the beginning (or at all yet), though if you're ok with physical ones sounds like you'll be able to find palpitoad or barboach soon..

HERESY!

Blastoise is actually a very good special attacker, it's also bulky and decently fast. The only thing lacking is a diverse movepool.

Well, 85 base Sp.Atk realyl is nothing special and it's move pool is very limited. The only thing it gets over other Water types is Flash Cannon, which it can't even use well.

If you have a modest nature with good IVs and EVs it still doesn't disappoint. If you also manage to get one with Mirror Coat (which was my case), you can defeat El's ditto arceus and PULSE-swalot with ease. Remember this is not a competitive metagame. We're talking about dealing with the AI, and blastoise is good at that.

How about Gyarad--... oh.

I'll agree with Etesian that some of the best water types, are a bit far in the game.

Sharpedo might be able to hold the fort for now, imo.

EDIT: FORGOT THAT KINGDRA IS NOT BAD LATER TOO \o/

The currently best obtainable Water types (IMO) are Gorebyss, Huntail and Feraligatr, although all are late game, so it'd be a while until you go to those.

Yeah all three of these are very good.

so basically i should just stick with sharpedo until around the agate circus?

Don't forget Clawitzer...in a Trick Room team it will decimated your enemies...

But yeah, you are gonna have to wait until Agate Cicus
