alaneapen
I am looking to breed a few Bulbasaurs. Should I go offensive and breed sludge bob and giga drain via episode 12 or do a defensive set with leech seed and synthesis,
Developers Marcello Posted June 12, 2015 Developers Share Posted June 12, 2015 In almost every situation, I WOULD reccomend Offensive, because M.Venusaur is terrifying. BUT seeing as this is ingame and Megas don't seem to be rearing their heads very soon, not to mention Poison and Grass are both good offensive type, I'd probably reccomend the offensive one, until Megas become a thing. pyrromanis
Whichever you choose Giga Drain is a must! Being locked in Petal dance and getting confused is frustrating most of the time.Personally I run a stall Venusaur with Giga Drain/Leech Seed/Poison Powder/Synthesis holding a black sludge or a big root. It's walled by any steel and most poison types however, but pairing it with a good ground type you will have no problem
ShadowStar
That's is a hard decision.... Venusaur DOES make a good bulky attacker.
Lord Drakyle
Maybe you could go Bulky Offensive Venusaur? (Giga Drain, Sludge Bomb, Synthesis and Leech Seed (if you have a good Hidden Power type for it you could replace Leech Seed with that but may wanna opt for some sort of Heal Over Time item)
