Plus anna said she got the pendant from her dad, so Radomus keeping it could mean he was the one who gave it to her originally.

...but then why did radomus ditch his children alone with a cray cray doctor?

Maybe he was being watched by Team Meteor, and hid his children in the city's official orphanage with the Pendant, believing they would be safer there.

For them to not know their father, they must have been very very young..like 1-3yrs old when ditched there. And his wife must've died when they were infants too

Remember that Radomus is also a Psychic Gym Leader. There's a very possible chance some mind manipulation is involved. It doesn't make it any better, if all this theorizing is true. There's also the distinct chance that if it is all true, Radomus, for some ungodly reason, didn't know that Connal was a freaking psychopathic electrocution happy doctor.

did you know that there are 172 normal types moves

that is a lot of normal type moves

and it took me for damn ever just to do those alone

this animation process is slow and gritty

rip

(it has not been helped by the fact that the trial on my sound editing program expired mid-process and has been no small order to replace >~< )

ok back to spectulation, I support the notion that Anna and Noel are Radomus' kids. Perhaps Zina Vanahen was part of the E4 as well? Dead mothers/parents now apparently are members of the E4.....

Question: Which keys does the Protagonist have, and who has the other ones at the end of Episode 15?

Also, if the city is getting repaired, I assume that the Grand Stairway is going to be repaired as well. What does that mean for Team Meteor? I know the path from inside the Grand Gates is likely what is behind the door down there, but that still can't be confirmed. Are they going to blow it up again?

On a more related note, previous poster is correct on the locations of the Keys. Also...one more thing that might be more relevant considering all the talk of Doctor Connal lately: What CAUSED him to go so insane? If you examine the replacement for the Gym guy in the Orphanage(there's one there now, it's to the left of the library), Ame mentions that there was an agreement with Connal to have gym battles there. I highly doubt Ame(or at least hopefully)would agree to leave the kids in the hands of such a madman. If that's the case, what caused his insanity? If you all remember, when you go to catch Rotom in the back of Shade's gym, there's one more vision on the screens. It's been quite a while, but I do believe that's Connal and someone very close to him. I wanna say it looked suspiciously like Lin, which would explain his actions during the Tanzan Meteor Base. As such, a theory: Lin is either A ) his daughter who supposedly died or B ) his wife who ALSO supposedly died. Whatever happened with that woman is what caused his insanity.

It's actually his sister, Elizabeth Connal iirc. She died of some disease or something and the only thing that they DIDN'T try to use to save her was Electric-shock therapy, so he devoted his life to researching it. He went kinda crazy as a result.

Connal's story comes from the Gossip Gardevoir interview with him I believe

also, it's all well that parents may have been in the E4, but I don't think that's a title that is...passed down. I mean, it's a question of skill, not bloodline :i Or should be.. What bothers me the most is ... The known and possible members of the current E4 + champion are.....either 10yr olds stuck in a cray cray asylum/orphanage, or scattered all over the place/are on the seemingly evil side. I mean, theoretically, are we, the player, + people like Cain etc , the only challengers in the entire place? If certain gym leaders can't even be tracked down or battled, it's kind of illogical to me. Like, Heather is E4, Anna is stated to be "even higher" i.e. E4 or champ , yet she's stuck in that place doing nothing and unable to do anything. How did she even get the chance to display the skill worthy of being an E4/champ without the chance to :i One can argue about Heather since she still had a father before, yet he didn't let her do much of anything either.. It just baffles me when I start thinking about the fact that the league largely consists of children who often can't be left to act freely

Yeah. It would be difficult to challenge this league. If memory serves Fern said something about trying to find Noel when we battled him on route 1. There are a lot of young people who are high ranked in the Reborn league but I assume that is because they are based on the real people who weren't generally too old.

Cool. So, I've got sounds for everything. To reiterate, that includes the animations that I won't be updating with this episode, so I basically just took a significant bite out of future development time. I chose to do that because I was already in the groove as far as sound editing, and knew what all of my files were for/sounded like. In three months I would have forgotten that, and would have had to waste time re-familiarizing myself with them to gather up new sounds.

So next up will be making the visuals. I think what I'll do is try and gif a few of them as we go along so there's at least some kind of visible progress here. It'll probably take me a while to get through all of those though. The remaining 60% in animations is still a solid ~230 animations to remake.

Does anyone know a good gif-capture program?

Also to restate this: Although I'm spending all this time on animations right now, there aren't going to be any more animations in E16 than there are in E15. I'm remaking all of the existing ones for quality control. Some won't change noticeably. Some might appear less fancy for the sake of using a consistent graphical style. Most will probably look better. But don't expect there to be -more- animations until E17/18.

Pausing from animations for a quick percent jump, since I implemented this episode's round of field changes. These haven't been particularly well-publicized in the past aside from being in the readme, so I might as well post it here.

While this is currently all I intend to do to the fields for the next episode, it's by no means binding. In other words, if I find something else that needs to be changed there's plenty of time for it to make it in.

Also I've gone back on my prior order of only five new fields coming with this episode. Following a certain discussion on the server, I'll also be adding an Inverse Field for the sake of having it. It will not be used in the story though.

Very strange that this field seemed to have gotten changed up more than any other field, especially considering that Nature Power turns into a Psychic move that kills poison, its harder to turn it into corrosive mist, and Fairy types get a Sp.Def boost by 1.5... Perhaps Adrienn will be using this field in E16...

Yeah that is what I was thinking. These changes seem to be pointing to Adrienn using this field (especially given two sludge waves are needed.

I'm still not sure about us fighting xem in E16 though.

Fairy types get a 1.5 Spdef boost? Oh God Sylveon is gonna be a nightmare. And pretty much every other fairy type out there. I guess it's finally time for me to get that beldum...
