Wellp, that sounds like a useful option for people who have replayed the game a lot, but yeah, I gotta agree many "what do i do?? where go?? " posts are indeed going to flood the forum

The light at the end of the tunnel in this is that it helps boost forumites like myself post count haha

Hopefully, the text-skip button won't be too close to the controls.

I don't want to reset just because I misclicked and accidentally skipped over some dialogue(lord knows, that happens often enough as it is with my itchy button-mashing fingers hitting the Z key too many times).

I gotta say... if the actual company made pokemon games were even half as detailed/difficult as this game i might have never looked for them. as it is they just... push you along... so hardcore like... it got reeeeeaaallllly old reeeeeaaalllly fast. I personally had to stop the real ones after it hit diamond/pearl and i saw the extreme pattern that the sapphire/ruby + generations were gonna be... But this game is just like "yo dat nonsense of making sense, foe get ah bout et, we here to give your brain a work-out ya here?" and i love it. although... im absolutely terrified.... elite 8 max IV's perfect EV's... amazing move pools... top tier items and 3-4 full restores?

im predicint 788,943,231.5 attempts to make it through them. I can do naught but pray to the Ame's that we have like max revives in stores by then LOL

Back to plot speculation for a minute: I just noticed something as I played through Reborn again. There's an old lady across from Adrienn's Gym who talks about said gym.

Here's her ad verbatim dialogue:

Strange building, that one... It used to be a beautiful gym, back from the first incarnation of Reborn City... Long ago, gym leaders used to live in harmony... But everything changed when the Meteors attacked. Only this gym leader, master of a mysterious type, could stop them. But when Reborn needed them [xem] most, they [xe] vanished. Ever since then, the gym has been neglected. And look at it now...

If this old lady is anything to go off of, then y'all might be wrong about us fighting Adrienn in E16...

PS: I also noticed the sign in front of Julia's gym for the first time...something along the lines of "hours of operation depend on how much coffee you bring." I lol'd at that.

I personally don't get the point you're trying to make? Are you insinuating there's another character who disappeared?

The gym leader who vanished, according to the old lady, was Adrienn. The mysterious type was the Fairy type. And there haven't been any other Fairy leaders in the old Reborn league(which is what the game is based on). Any new gym leaders introduced at this point would be pretty jarring,

...that's not the point I was trying to make at all. The script is obviously about Adrienn, hence the whole disappearance bit.

See the underlined part of the quoted script. If Adrienn was indeed the only one who could've stopped Meteor in their first strike, that suggests that Adrienn is the highest-ranked gym leader in Reborn. Therefore, we'd fight xem later if my hunch is right - contrary to a lot of people who assume Addrien is next in line just because we're revisiting the city.

I might be reading into it too much, but this struck me...

Well, Lin is a dragon type user (at least she was in the league) and hydreigon (her ace) dies to the fairies.

Given that Solaris' ace is also a dragon I think that it makes sense that Adrienn was the only one who could defeat them using her fairies.

I don't think it means that Adrienn is super powerful. I think it is just she has a massive advantage over the other leaders.

"Was" is the right word, that was long ago, xyr opponents had 10 years (or something) to train and get stronger while xe was trapped

I think that xe would still be pretty high ranked. By now, our Pokemon are level 75 and xe is one of the leaders who we haven't battled yet, so he would have a team somewhere between 80-90 I would think. We know that all the Meteors' Pokemon strength, except Lin. She may have trained after her defeat, but the others had 10 years and were still weaker than Adrienn.

It's just an Avatar: The Last Airbender reference. Let's not get too worked up here.

So here's some speculation about ZEL.

When you meet ZEL for the first time in Obsidia park, they mention that they are 3 people. One starts with Z, the next E (Evelynn I think) and the next L. Then when you get to Ametrine you find the house where the first pulse machine was developed fusing its creator, the little sister and another meteor man into one entity. It mentions something about a magnezone, but I think that is just reference with regards to how the 3 people fuse into one being - ZEL.

You see the 3 different parts of ZEL speaking by whichever letter is not capitalized. I think team meteor may have taken ZEL into their custody since they are always the one's operating the Pulse machines.

I may be completely wrong on this, but that is just how I interpret it. If this is already common knowledge I apologise. It's just something I noticed after 3 playthroughs.

That's the story of ZEL alright. Eve was the scientific minded one, Lumi is the timid/friendly one and Zero was the man who came into their house. Zero wanted to use the power for the good of Team Meteor (i think) and due to that they are working on the PULSE for Team Meteor. Since Magneton is basically a fusion of Pokemon it means that ZEL was made out of 3 fused people in one body.

Yep, the scene at Ametrine is intended to reveal that. Lumi was deathly ill with something mysterious, so Evelynn created the PULSE technology to amplify a Pokemon's healing powers to cure Lumi. IIRC, Evelynn was testing it on her Magneton when Zero busted in to seize the machine. Magneton being a powerful electromagnet and all, it caused the PULSE to act up, fusing Magneton's...um, Magnemites? into one solid Magnezone while also fusing Zero, Evelynn and Lumi into one body.

Ah okay so this was common knowledge already. Can't believe it took me 3 playthroughs to realise this haha.

I am glad that it's confirmed then because I was also thinking it was possible that Linn (Team Meteor Boss, sorry if the spelling is wrong) was Evelynn. Since a few people though that Linn was actually dead and the one running around terrorizing reborn was a robot or something I thought it may be possible that these Linns were one in the same.

That said. It still leaves the door wide open with possibilities as to the story around Linn. One I am most eager to discover.

Speaking of little easter eggs, i also just realised that Julia renamed her gym from "Neo-Circuit Power Plant a Sylph-Co Service" to "Electro-Dazzle Happy Boom Time House of Cheer". Thanks to the guy who pointed out the coffee thing on the other sign outside Julia's gym

Hm, this got me thinking again (sorry in advance): will we ever see a scene where ZEL is reverted back into three separate entities? I'm aware that Eve and Lumi's bodies likely died off after they were fused into Zero's, but then again time warps and such seem to be a thing in this game - at least down in Arc-d'Astrae.

That would be interesting, but I doubt that would happen. If it did, Lumi would die probably.

Anyways, I was just looking through the graphics folder of reborn, and I found the badges image in the pictures folder. It looks like they're all in order 1-13, which suggests the remaining ones are also in order. If they are, the next order of leaders is Titania, Adrienn, Hardy, Saphira, and finally Amaria. If this really is the order, the story of reborn is going to be very, very interesting. My guess is we'll probably see Saphira and Armaria battles in one episode (since all the maps should be made by then). And that still leaves the E4, which we still don't have 100% on.

While I hate bursting bubbles, I noticed something like that a while ago, so I scoured through all the previous releases of Reborn I have downloaded. The order of the badges in the Graphics folder after the obtained one seems to be randomised each release.

I like where you're going with this but I doubt Titania's next; the Tourmaline Desert is probably going to take a lot of work to create and E16 is going to already feature a completely revamped Reborn city. Also, if Marcello's right about the badges being randomized, who knows.

In E14 the order after Ciel's badge was Adrienn, Titania, Amaria, Hardy, and Saphira. I actually didn't know the order changed in E15's picture. I just assumed E14's was correct because those placements seemed to make the most sense (i.e. Adrienn when we go back to the city, and Saphira last because Labradorra City is right before Victory Road).
