While yes the desert is one destination the train can go to...there is another place this train can go. Anyone remember a certain Rail cave? So you assume that not mentioning something is equivalent to not noticing it? You don't think that I've been paying attention to every single detail in this game? INB4 train explodes again. Actually, wouldn't it be better if it turned out Team Meteor was conducting the train? That's probably why that one station attendant was walking around his desk. Eh, that seems too...repetitive(?) for the game. We've already seen that trick before, and add to that the fact that (at this point in the story) people are well aware of Team Meteor and the threat that they pose, I feel like a bomb won't quite cut it this time. It'll be more cruel and unusual creative than that. My money is on that PULSE Clawitzer changing targets or something. That'll be interesting. Or perhaps the pulse Hippowdon summons a quicksand and the whole train is submerged in the sand,only to discover that there is a cave underneath the desert. I am curious about that, since we basically know....pretty much nothing about it. Mayhap we'll see that poor train conductor's daughter? I think the reference was there in the first place was because of Mysidia being an affiliated site with Reborn or something like that quite a few years ago. All that's left of Mysidia is an open forum board full of memories (although I believe no one can register there anymore, not 100% sure). Anyway, I've liked a lot of the animations and screen shots of Reborn lately. Everything's finally coming together after so long. It'll be nice to explore Reborn, well reborn, at its full glory. The only problem with this is that if the sand was enough to stop a moving train in it's tracks, wouldn't it completely bury the player in moments? I believe Ame said somewhere that she was taking all the Mysidia references out of E16... Yeah, Mysidia is kinda gone now, so as of e16 (if not e15 already) it'll be out of the game. RIP.
