I haven't tested the fight yet so I'm basing this on the log of her Pokemon and moves. I'll just get onto my thoughts before testing this thing. (I'm working on a project of denerfing the leaders so that'll eat away some time). But here we go on Julia:

Let's start with the Electricdrain...that is a bad move and it should feel bad. It ends up nerfing Julia because those Pokemon aren't going to last long (3 turns if it's really lucky) and her field effect helps her more than that move. If anything, Electrode should be the only one with it or it should be a times 3 for atk, sp atk, and speed for anyone but Electrode (maybe two if that's too much). Now for the Pokemon:

For Heliolisk, run T-wave instead of Glare, and I know its illegal, but Parabolic Charge is needed instead of Thundershock if you keep it unevolved. If you evolve it, run Bulldoze instead of Glare. Grass Knot is okay, but if you're good enough, run HP grass/psychic on it instead. (Heliolisk is kind of weak so this is definitely one you want to consider messing with).

Chinchou is good, but try slapping and eviolite/leftovers to make better use of its bulk.

Emolga is good too, but run a Flying Gem on it to make it a little more threatening.

Voltorb I'd run a Magnet to make a little bit stronger, but good otherwise

Flaffy is a bit tricky. Instead of that fake move/Light Screen, run Eerie Impulse. It'll be more tanky without bulking up the rest of her team's defenses. I'd also run Fire Punch instead of Cotton spore to give it better coverage.

And Electrode, give it a Sitrus Berry because why the heck not. Rollout is kind of a double edged sword so I'd run foul play instead so it doesn't get locked into it. It's good besides that.

Edit: I forgot a fantastic Pokemon Julia is lacking...Magnemite. It doesn't need an item and should run Magnet Bomb, Sonic Boom, Supersonic, and Charge Beam

Good luck to anybody passing Shade in Reborn "hardcore"

Just WHY?

TBH Shade can't get much better than Slapping an Aegislash, Eviolite Dusclops, Giving Chandelure IVs, and Corey Shadow Ball. Trevenant could be given a Sitrus Berry or replaced by Spiritomb (with Leftovers), but that's about it.

Ok, I will make those edit... not sure if I stated this, but I'm a retard when it comes to doing this. Also, who shall Magnemite replace?

@poll: Give Julia the Future Sight move and call it Boom Desire...

Done.

Hey hey hey! How about giving some of the Gym Leaders (Such as Shade, Serra, etc. ) a Mega!, is that much even possible? I'd love that (I was thinking about every single leader, but that wpuld be so difficult that it won't be fun at all...

Great minds think alike, I was thinking of starting that trend right at Kiki, I feel that she is pretty weak and I've heard shade is a bitch in ep15 so I'll play nice and start at Kiki. The rematches for Julia-Shade will have Mega's though.

@Commander: Helio has been replaced with magnemite.

Eh, I can't correct everything or toughen up the leaders every single time because you wouldn't be learning everything. What I gave you I wouldn't consider "hard core" but more of a higher challenge (trust me, I could make Julia much, much harder).

I guess it's kind of the best of both worlds because I'm not so great at RPG maker (I'm still trying to figure out the EV thing) so if you need help making a team tougher, go ahead and PM me, but getting feedback from other people is going to be helpful too (especially if they say leader xxx is too easy or too hard).

Ok, thanks for you're help! What part of the "EV thing" do you not understand? I might be able to help. Yeah, I agree, I just need some feedback from people who played it.

I don't know when Jamaka will release the project, but I've been working on a lot of the gym leader designs because I feed off of your tears. I tried keeping their fighting styles so it feels like you're facing a tougher version of them. The difficulty is going to vary (which is why feedback is needed), but Charlotte is pretty much just going to go back to her pre nerf self (minus the second Ninetales) with a few little things to amp her up. And no I'm not giving Typhlosion Energy Ball

Once wild Pokémon get edited and I add my self after the 2nd and 3rd gym leader battle, Flobot and Corey will be released. Been working on this for the past 7 or so hours, with a Death note break.

Just a quick little thing: we're going to be giving this project an official and unofficial release. The official release will include everything such as event changes and trainer updates. The unofficial release is going to include very few of those things, but will basically be the modified leaders/difficult fights. I'll be posting pics of my progress as I make my way through the unofficial release. (I already showed something in the status update today).

To add on about the progress pics and stuff, we both are going to be sharing new things as they arrive. I have already done 1 of these, if you missed it, here you go. http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?app=members&module=profile&section=status&type=single&status_id=50661

....Shade now has a Mega Banette?

Shade now has a Mega Banette?!

SHADE NOW HAS A MEGA BAN-(Heart attack)

Edit: Also, while I was reading this I noticed something: How can you rematch Corey if

He ends up dying?

hmm, haven't thought of that... Maybe a replacement trainer? I'm not sure currently, will get back with you. BTW if you think Shade having a Mega Banette is bad....

What if you rematch

the spirit of Corey

instead, just like

Kiki's ghost in the wasteland?

If you need a little remake of Corey's trainer sprite for that, just tell me :P

I might do that, it may be like

Shade has Corey's body and let's the Gengar version possess the body and then you fight Corey.

I most likely will need you to re-sprite Corey if you don't mind.

Replace that with Kiki to get Ghastly.

Seriously, I really like the way that looks. But yeah, Correy has two ENTIRELY DIFFERENT TEAMS so the bridge scene may contain a little inconsistency depending which version you fight (though I'm leaning more towards the field one). We might make a combination as well as add Croagunk due to the events available. That's more than a Jamak side than my side.

And Jamak, why in the hell did you make Corey's Crobat Level 37? I swear it's like you're trying to kill me. But yeah, I'm working on leader on boss testing with Reborn's current Pokemon line-up. There's about 10 possible Pokemon for each leader so I don't want to release anything public (or even a beta tester) until I have a better idea what the final teams will be (and how unstable the leaders are right now).

I gotta feed on everyone's sanity and souls, duh. You want me to stay alive right?
