It has to be the following things 1.Free, or at least with a 30 day trial. 2.Have a reasonable amount of effects. Not as many as Sony Vegas, but a sufficient amount 3.Reasonably easy to use. It's free and pretty comprehensive, but learning to use it isn't the easiest thing because in-program documentation is a little lacking.
