Creature, a Monster Role play (Interest check & sign up)

Well since my battlegrounds RP is on break and no one seems to care about Armageddon. here is a new rp that has nothing to do with poke'mon. As the name suggests this is a story about monsters. and yes you can play as one if you do so please. but before I get into that lets talk about the rules, because whats fun without them.

Rules:

1. Only two characters per player. BUT they can't both be monsters, in other words you can have one human or Elf and/or one monster
2. Combat is to be kept in PM's and under the watchful eye of either me (The GM) or a mod. the outcome will be posted on the IC page when it is over.
3. No mary sue chars. any thing that breaks the game will result in being eaten By a Werewolf.
4. No bunnying. unless you have permission you can not take control of other characters (unless its me or a mod posting battle results). Failure to do so will result in you getting mauled by a Raptoid.
5. no offensive posts directed to players, although "bad blood" DOSE exist in the story I can not have people being mean to each other. Taking shots at others will result in having you blood drained by a vampire.
6. a post in the IC page most be at least 1 paragraph long.
7. Those who are born under the star of evil must be part of the faction "The Dark Armada"

Story:

Ardinius... A magical realm home to multiple beings and cultures. For hundreds of years they all lived in peace, but a dark cloud of evil as tainted the world and has caused corruption in the mortal realm. An evil that wishes for the fall of Ardinius, and one that has not been seen 700 years. With its Army of demons it poses a great threat to all, so much so that many have already allied them selves with the armada of darkness. Others have either Joined forces with other territories to push them back, or reside with their own kind with no interest in joining either side. so what say you? where do you stand in this conflict?

There are 9 known Species of Ardinius. Humans, Elves, Orcs, Vampires, Werewolves, Demons, Fairies, Slimers, And Raptoids. Each has their own set of rules and powers. See the Race cards for more info (parden the crulety of them as I am not an artist)

Here you will find more information about each of the 9 playable races. I will have images up as soon as I figure out the "attachments".

Humans

The Human Race has Very Little Expertise on the magical front but thats not to say they can't use it at all. The humans have 4 kingdoms located at the four corners of the realm. Veramis, the Northern Kingdom. Kagan, The Eastern. Jungiin, the western. and Ivman is the Southern kingdom. As one would expect, much of man kind FEAR the other races. So much that a few have made it their job to hunt them down as animals or monsters. Humans are skilled with weapons of all kinds, but lack the materials to forge weapons powerful enough to wipe out a race completely. Because of this they have made alliances with each other to share materials and goods. it is rare that they ever get a hold of gear from the other races, and lest they give up on their fear of other beings it will stay that way.

Veramis is a kingdom located in an arctic Tundra, and because of this the humans who live there are more resistant to Ice magic and cold areas. It is a bitter place where the sun rarely ever shines, so much so that one could say that the bad weather "Protects them" from danger. But is the cause for this strange weather?

Kanga is the only Human kingdom that is highly skilled in Magic, There is even a school for such studies and they take students all year round. but As said before, Humans are not exactly skilled at magic and mastering it takes much time. so while the school dose take in students all the time, very few are able to attend. There are many forms of magic, but it is highly unlikely that Humans will fully understand it.

Jungiin is a very peaceful Kingdom that focuses on "Monster hunting" and is there fore despised by much of the other races. often times humans come here to learn about how to track down other races and how to kill them. But its not a school for the fient of heart, for only the brave can attend the school that teaches such practices.

Ivman is the most gentle of the four kingdoms, despite specializing in making weapons. They try and promote peace with the other races, despite not being allies with any of them (yet). As they hope that one day they will all live in unity with all races, even demons if that's even possible.

Raptoids

Raptoids are Warm-blooded, Raptor like, Reptian creatures that are well balanced in all fields for the most part. There are 4 different sub-species and They each live in large groups known as Clans. Raptoids are highly intelligent, and always send carry out missions (out side of War and defending the clan) in packs of 6 individuals. Each subspicies is born with the natural ability to use 1 from of magic with ease and amazing skill. They Respect they sister Clans and some even respect werewolves as they too live in Clans as they do, how ever they are not exactly allies. There are 4 Raptoid Clans. Ryhuun, Taraas, Myjunga, and Quaniir. All Raptoids can spit acid, but some clans are better at it than others.

The Ryhuun Clan are masters of Fire magic, they take advantage of this to forge their weapons more properly. and Since Raptoid steel is already powerful the Ryhuun are said to have the best weapons of all of Ardinius. However they are more than happy to share their craft with there sister Clans making Raptoids quite formitable. The Rhyuun Reside deep in the Western forests of the realm. Their acid spit burns like white hot fire, but it takes time for it it can completely eat through its target. In addition they can not take damage from fire and can even swim in lava due to their fire resistant scales.this dose however make them vulnerable to Water magic.

The Taraas are highly skilled with Earth Magic and reside in the badlands located in the center of Ardinius. Their acid spit is the weakest of the Raptoids, but it is very sticky meaning while the burn isn't as painful it is difficult to wash off. The Taraas use their Mastery of earth Magic to construct their Territory, making their clan well defenses literaly "Hard as Stone". This Clan is known to be quite stuborn, and they tend to not make any decisions without consulting the other clans.

The Myjuna Clan Live high in the Northern mountains, in fact its the most northern point of the realm. They are masters of wind magic, and are know to be quite jolly and friendly. The Myjuna are said to be able to "Ride on the clouds" but such a thing is yet to be seen. Their Acid spit is more of a sprey witch disolves their foes slowly and painfully, but needless to say they don't much like doing such things if they can avoid it.

The Quaniir are masters of water magic and have the most potent acid spit, it melts the flesh right off the bones of their foes. They live in the eastern Swamps of the realm and are the only race in the world besides water demons and slimers to breath underwater. This clan Uses their magic to cast a barrier of mist around them for their protection. The Quaniir like the Taraas try not to make any major choices without first having a word with the other clans.

Elves

The Elves of Ardinius live in a single Kingdom known as Vanden. They are a peaceful race but are not shy to the sword, they are in fact masters of archery and Illusion Magic. Tricking their opponents into fighting aspects that are not even there while they strike them down from a distance. The elves were at one time slaves to the Human race, but were released after a War with the 4 Raptoid clans of the realm. Because of this the Elves and Raptoids have trade routes between one another. They aren't really allies, but they do respect one another enough not to be at each others necks. Elven Weaponry is one of the best around, second only to the Raptoids and Orcs. They also have deeper magic pools than most of the other races. The Kingdom of Vamden is located in the southeast in a dense forest. witch is home to Ardinius' most feral of beasts. only the Raptoids and elves know about the most safest routes, as they are know to trade goods once in a while.

Werewolves

Werewolves of Ardinius are born wolf like, Despite popular belief they wolf form is not a disease. They are masters of stealth sneaking up on their prey with their ability to camoflage their selves when ever they are submerged in the shadows. Were wolves prefer to use their claws over weapons, BUT thats not to say werewolf weapons don't exist. there are only two Werewolf clans in Ardinius. . . The Arvune, and the Kone. Both of witch have their own set of powers and skills. but like all werewolves, they are stronger when the moon is full.

The Arvune live in the northwestern area of the arctic tundras, they have very thick white Fur making it so they can blend into the snow better. They are resistant to Ice magic but vulnerable to fire. The Arvune clan is small, but powerful. as they are quite skilled in Ice magic. This clan has a policy to never do anything alone, so they often carry out missions in trios. The Arvne hate Mankind, as they used to be hunted for sport 300 years ago.

The Kone are located in a forest on the eastern side of Ardinius. They are expert hunters, and are quick to the art of stealth. They don't like the idea of using magic, and are there fore the most unskilled in all types of magic of all races. They have a great deal of respect for Raptoids as they too like in a Clan life style. the Kone are a massive clan, and almost each and every one of them is a trained soldier, question is though... can they and their sister clan last?

Orcs

The Orcs of Ardinius are masters of crafting Armor, and reside far South of the Rhyuun Clan. Orcs are blood born warriors, and have their own tier of weaponry just like Raptoids, Elves, and Werewolves. They are highly aggressive beings and prefer to strike first before thinking about their actions. Orcs are the most "Moronic" of the races but even still one can not underestimate their opponent lest they wish to do away with their head. They are also quick the spell in terms of magic, even though most of them rather hold an ax over a spell book. Orcs are often looked down upon because of their low intellect and Aggressive nature, as they as well as many of the other races are not so tough alone. But like werewilves and Raptoids they are awesome in numbers. Orcish weapons are said to be the Third best in the world, following Elven and then Raptoid. However their ARMOR is unrivaled.

Slimers

as the name suggests, Slimers are a gelatinous life form with no skeletal structure. this makes them almost immune to weapons of all races. But they are HIGHLY vulnerable to magic of all schools. Slimers are quite durable and have the ability to regenerate their bodies should they take too much damage. So long as their Core remains alive they can never fall. Slimers live in the heart of the Reenki Swamp, the southern most point of the realm. since they don't have lungs this race can swim underwater without fear of drowning. Slimers are unable to use magic, so they rely on the weapons crafted by them selves or by fallen foes. Slimers also have the uncanny ability to shapeshift. Very little is known about these globs of deadly goo, be watchful should you encounter one.

Fairies

Contrary to what you may thin a fairy is. this race is actually human sized and have long flowing hair. Their wings can only carry them for short distances before they have to rest them, so they can't fly forever like a demon or vampire, or if the rumors are true the Sky Raptoids. Fairies are masters of magic and many of them are highly trained mages. They are typically solitary creatures but from time to time they have been seen allying them selves with each other and even in some occasions other races. Fairies have no from of weapon craft, but they can be quick to the sword if need be. Fairies are also known to be very reclusive and are there fore rarely seen. (note: These fairies are based on old mythology and not the child fairy tale junk that slandered them)

Vampires

Vampires are feared by almost all races, and with their reputation no one can really be to blame. there are actually two different kinds of vampires, night Walkers and Day walkers. they are not all that much different in terms of powers, but they both have some what different drawbacks. Vampires have a need for blood, but they can only fest on that of humans, elves, orcs, Fairies, and werewolves. Raptoid and Demon blood is toxic to Vampires and can be fatal if enough is consumed., Slimers don't bleed nor do they have blood to suck meaning a Vampire CAN bite one but they wont get any thing to feed off of. feeding off another vampire would do much of the same as a slimer, as well as brand them as a cannibal. Vampires are great with magic but are also vulnerable to Fire and Water. Like Fairies that are solitary by nature, but unlike faires they don't always side with any factions.

Night walker Vampires can only be active at night or at times when the sun is not out. Sunlight damages This type of Vampire and prolonged exposure can and will destroy them. Their magic expertice is greater than that of the Day walkers, but they can not use Holy class magic without damaging them selves. Night walkers are also the only Vampire that can transform into a bat.

Day Walkers are the only Vampires who can walk out side without being harmed by the sun, that's not to say that they like the sun however. Because of this mutation Night walker vampires look down upon Day walkers. Day walkers are not as skilled with magic as night walkers, they are however more skilled with weapons.

Demons

Demons are malicious beings who are only born under the star of evil. They are masters of both magic and weaponry skills, however they are also vulnerable against Holy magic and stronger weapons. Demons are resistant to Fire and can also swim in Lava just like Fire Raptoids and can also fly using their massive wings. Demons do not reside in Ardinius but rather another world know as Hiine, also known as hell. Demons take up 80% of the dark armada, the other 20 % are other races who have gave their soles away for selfish needs. Very little is known about these evil creatures.Remember this all who cross these beings, The only good demon... is a dead one.

Bio: After the passing of his Mother And Father. Rhyu Took up the Title of Chieftain at the youngest age in history. He adores his clan and would give anything to protect it. He is also close to the other Chieftains of the sister clans as well. Rhyu often joins in on hunts and mission as it is his duty to do what ever he can to ensure that the Ryhuun Clan dose not fall to evil. He hopes that one day he and his people can live in peace with other races, but with things as they are now it seems to be a dream that will be just that.
