Hello all!

This week marks the last week of the first month of the season. After three, we have some developments!

Ruby

Deadpool currently holds a half game advantage over fellow undefeated contender Pyrrhon. Both of the competitors have had a smooth ride avoiding any kind of status or hax against them - although both have been endowed by bye weeks. 99 Losses and Fruitdealer, having dropped one division match so far, also trail behind Deadpool a half game back. Comittee-member Swimming95 sits in the middle of the pack at a 1-1 split with a bye. Pixl and ShinyMeganium are behind the curve with one win and two losses, with Meganium suffering a tiny bit with Paralysis this season. Hobo21 will continue to chase the first "W" from the cellar.

From the Clipboard: Pixl has missed the most attacks in the Ruby Division this season, with a whopping 4 wasted turns so far. Leader Deadpool has on average of 4 'Mons standing rounded up, while Hobo21 will be looking to avoid staring at 5 opposing Pokemon left ready to fight for his opponents on average if he hopes to get the dubb. The first way to avoid falling behind, competitors, is to show up to compete!

Sapphire

With only a game and a half separating the top of the leader board from the bottom of the barrel, Sapphire is the closest divisional race at this point in the season. AuthorReborn is the only undefeated Blue in the field, thanks to two "W's" and a seemingly well timed early Bye. Trevo, Moony, and Jelly are half a game behind the leader with two dubbs and an "L". PWB and Kookies are tied near the back of the scrum with a 1 - 1 split, trailed closely by a 1 - 2 Sparky, who has endured some horrible luck to start.

From the Clipboard: How bad has the hose been for Sparky? He's the division leader in taking critical hits with 5, and has flinched 3 times, along with 1 burn and 1 bout of confusion. Status has been tough on him. Moony has been put to sleep twice, burned twice, and has taken 4 critical hits, yet has found a way to stay on top of the curve at 2 and 1.

Amethyst

The Amethyst Division on the other hand looks very top heavy by comparison, based on the numbers, with MMM and Mikzal both currently undefeated AND tied in average remaining Pokemon with 3 (Hold on, ya'll tell me when those two fight, I'ma go mark that match on my calender....).... Rupe and Imperial are behind the leader duo by a full game at 2-1 a piece, and then we see Wash, Vince, The Phoenix, and Xiri still searching to get a win on the board at 0 - 2, back two and a half games. All four have had one bye week so far.

From the Clipboard: Rupe has managed to stay on top of the curve despite missing 5 attacks, taking 5 critical hits, flinching 4 times, being poisoned twice, and failing to move while paralyzed twice. Those numbers have contributed to closer matches on average as well, as he only has around 2 'mon left standing.

Emerald

Dark Desire is the only remaining undefeated Green on the board with an average of three Pokemon remaining -and- more than one match played. Vlado Vladimir, despite the one loss, is ahead of Void due to games played at 2-1 as opposed to 1-0. Vlado, Void, and Azery are behind DD by a game. Dobby has an even split after two, followed Sir Bagel (1-2) and the cellerdweller Mumpelfink (0-3)

From the Clipboard: In Void's one match, no status or hax has been used against him.

Poll Positions: Deadpool, AuthorReborn, Dark Desire, Play-In Match between Mikzal and MMM

Hilda's projected Title match at this point: AuthorReborn vs. Dark Desire

**PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT PROJECTIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE EVERY WEEK, and are JUST BASED ON CURRENT RANKINGS**

Props for battling RIGHT ON SUNDAY though! It's alright. Nobody needs to be undefeated in this event anyway. You just gotta be better than everyone else.

I didn't get my first PRCL win until I beat Jericho on a Monday (which was the start of the week in that event.) Which is kinda relevant for Sparky in this case too I guess. Sometimes you just "have it" and if you can get your opponent to play before they're ready early-week magic can occur.

I reluctantly accept my title of cellardweller. Although the goal here is to do better than I did in PRCL, where I only had one victory and that was by default.

Still, matches are fun to play and watch, so I won't complain, even if I lose every single match, haha.

I don't mind much. The way I see it, I'm practically the Wally of this. In PRCL, I was the bottom of everything. I don't think I won once. But the fact that I did pretty well in this showed marked improvement and honestly that's enough for me.

And hey, at least Sparky got a nice boost in his rep there. Go out and win Sparky you can do it.

It's Sunday, I'll make sure I'll get some to dish out.

It is now officially Week 8. If you haven't gotten your match-ups for this week yet. We'll make sure that happens asap.

Here's a story though - It took SEVEN weeks - but there is no longer any undefeated trainers left in the field.
