ThatGuyOverThere
Here are some moves for real this time Overcharge Type: Electric Category: Special Contact: No Power: 115 Accuracy: 60 PP: 10 (15) Target(s): One Description: The user blasts the target with an absurd amount of electricity. This move is super-effective on electrified Pokemon. It's not just Electric types. It's also super effective on Pokemon with any sort of 'electric' ability (i.e. Volt Absorb, Motor Drive, Lightningrod, Plus, Minus, etc). This move is not stackable with the target's Electric typing and their Electric ability (i.e. an Ampharos with Static). Pokemon that can learn it: Pikachu, Raichu/Alolan Raichu, Electrode, Gengar, Alolan Golem, Zapdos, Mew, Ampharos, Luxray, Electivire, Magnezone, Raikou, Rotom, Zebstrika, Elektross, Zekrom, Xurkitree, Zeaora, Thundurus, Tapu Koko, Amped Toxtricity, Dracozolt, Arctozolt I feel like this move is over powered, but I'm not quite sure. What do you think? Pull Under Type: Water Category: Status Contact: Yes Accuracy: 100 PP: 10 (20) Target(s): One Description: The user grabs the target and pulls them underwater, damaging them at the end of each turn for 1 - 4 turns. This move is best used on a target that's using Dive. The target is afflicted with the 'drowning' effect, a volatile status condition which makes the target take damage equal to 1/5 of their max HP at the end of each turn. Both the user and the target can still move like normal during these turns. If the target was using Dive when it was afflicted with drowning, it will always be affected for all 4 turns (unless either the target or the user switches out). When freed from drowning, the text says "[Target's name] resurfaced!". If the user faints during these turns, the target will immediately be freed from drowning. Pokemon that can learn it: Poliwrath, Krabby, Kingler, Tentacool, Tentacruel, Gyarados, Dragonair, Dragonite, Totodile, Croconaw, Feraligatr, Octillery, Sharpedo, Huntail, Kyogre, Hippowdon, Sandile, Krokorok, Krookodile, Golisopod, Drednaw, Grapploct When Hippowdon, Sandile, Krokorok, and Krookodile use Pull Under, I imagine they're pulling their target into quicksand instead of water. Smooth
Arc-Virus Type: Mystery ??? Target - Singles PP - 5 Category - Status Accuracy - 100% Description - The user is consumed by an unknown etherial force beyond comprehension. Screeching it’s cry before submitting to the virus. Loses it’s name, typing, and friendship value in exchange to randomise it’s base stat between the total to 600-800 during battle. Any damage the user takes away instead decreases it’s max total hp permanently rather then regular hp. If user faints, it is erased from party. Seal
Always felt that a lot of bulky Rock/Ground/Steel lacked recovery to make them truly viable as tanks. I made one with a bit of extra flavouring to keep it interesting. Mineral Mend Type: Steel Category: Status PP: 10 Power: - Accuracy: - Description: The user partially melts it's body to repair itself. This heals 50% of the users maximum HP and boosts it's defence but makes it more susceptible for fire damage. Indepth effect: Heals 50% of the users max HP, boosts it's defence by one and makes itself recieve double damage from fire the turn the move is used. Learners: Golem, Magnezone, Steelix, Rhyperior, Forretress, Macargo, Donphan, Probopass, Aggron, Claydoll, Bastiodon, Gigalith, Cofagrigus, Klinklang, Golurk, Chesnaught, Aegislash, Carbink, Dhelmise, Corviknight, Coalossal, Copperajah and Duraludon. Node15
Adaptation Type: Normal Category: Status PP: 30 Power: - Accuracy: - Target: Any Pokemon on the field Description: The target adapts to their situation by changing their ability and then raising a stat. More detailed description: If the target has a status condition then the move suppresses their old ability and replaces it with an ability that cures the status condition. i.e. Water Veil for Burn, Limber for Paralysis, etc. the targets old ability will come back when the Pokemon is switched out. Depending on the Status Condition the user will get a certain boost. i.e. +Attack for Burn, +Speed for Paralysis, + Sp. Attack for Poison, +Defense for Sleep, + Sp. Defense for Frozen, + Accuracy for Confusion. Also I had another idea for how this would work in Reborn and Rejuvenation with the field effects but essentially depending on the field, the user will get a certain ability, i.e. Grass Pelt for Grassy Terrain, Technician for Factory Field, Flash Fire for Burning Field, and ect. Pokemon that could learn this Move: Any Pokemon (Simply cause I can't think of any specific pokemon.) MintMan
Enveloping Wings; Flying types give up their entire HP bar to set up light screen+reflect. An offensive momentum minded flying type exclusive setup move. Probably would be a bit absurd considering its like a better version of memento but I'd probably distribute it very thinly among flying types.
