Simple question for a simple thread

So I got a couple of friends who have/will start playing reborn (at least until they see how much BS you have to put up with and possibly drop it.)

Figured, hey what the hell, why not? So I figure "I'll just make another save file from scratch and play alongside them." So then, here's my question: While I know how to create 'multiple' save files, is there a way to create 'simultaneous' save files? To where I don't have to locate the save file and change its name each time I feel like playing the other.

Nope, sorry. You can only have one save file at a time. Multiple save files are not featured in Pokemon Essentials, but they would be a nice touch in the future don't you think?

Yeah, it'd be a nice touch, and all in all a time saver. But I can deal with how it is, I suppose.

Anyhow thanks for answering @ Posters.

EDIT: Turns out I was wrong, I forgot that Ame added in the back-up data things which created tons of extra things, which complicates it (I think.) If I just rename the Game Sav to say 'Game2', will that corrupt my data due to the back ups?

Nope. I created another file and my main run remained stable so you should be good when it comes to creating another file in the new system.

I have in my folder a crap-ton of backups, and then MGame.rxdata, Ground, Psychic, Steel, and Game.rxdata, so really as long as you have the active one called Game.rxdata you'll be fine. If changing them is a hassle you can create a shortcut to the save files folder on an easy-access spot on PC.
