Omega_Ra1der
Alright, you downloaded the game. Good choice because it's good but the trade-off is if you are a spoiled pokemon player, prepare to lose your beloved ou pokemon because they might not be in the game or very late in the ep. If you use anything, you are in for slightly easier ride because this game teach you to adapt and patience. What about Blaziken? He is good and all.In this game, Blaziken is still powerful but careful with it because this isn't just a regular pokemon game, it's a fan-game that achieved ss1 so one mistake with it and if you don't have a regulated team, you will fall, hard. In my first run, I picked Torchic but no speed boost and I even had a gyarados but I got stuck on aya. That proves Blaziken won't carry you all of the time.Mega evolution? https://youtu.be/ztVMib1T4T4 Now, now. We are getting mega stones but remember we need the Mega Ring to activate it? And it's confirmed for post-game. So throw that thought out of the window. So any tips? Use anything you can find. And ask anybody here for any pokemon that are good but underrated and adapt to the environment. And oh, one more thing. You might need a rotation to adapt to the typing of the area or the gym leader. And have fun playing it. Edited July 12, 2015 by OmegaRa1der
Vinny
Basically, all you have to remember for Pokémon Reborn is this: "git gud or git rekt" If Timber was still around, I'd ask her to find a way to put this in the "So, you wanna play pokemon reborn..." topic. Because too many topics about Blaziken already like really.
TRHStatement
I believe this is the most accurate description for how to effectively survive in Reborn.
bepe
That's what I love about the game, I have to use pokemon I usually wouldn't use in order to make it through.
Shing
And fucking survive the puzzles lol. Isn't the puzzles also a pain in the ass lol.
Dragon116
The puzzles aren't that bad. You can find the solutions in the download package, if you know where to look. If your technologically challenged (via inability to find the answer yourself or if it's not actually in there), you can try The Google and The YouTube to find The Truth (or at least the answer to what ails you). The Mistress
Tbh I love the puzzles. Sure, some are infuriating and make me rip my hair out, but the satisfaction of finally solving it is the best thing EVER. I will also still never get over the fact that ampharos has saved me COUNTLESS times. Because of this game I have developed such a new respect for all the pokemon I've never used. SPECIAL S/O TO AMPHY AND TRUBBISH. ILU.

SPECIAL S/O TO AMPHY AND TRUBBISH. ILU. Special mentions from me go to Kricketune, Arcanine, Ampharos, Scrafty, Pangoro, and Camerupt. For absolutely exceeding expectations and turning what would be frustrating fights into pieces of cake. I mean I like Trubbish too, but I never got a long term run going with one so I don't know... Another Felix
Loudred/Exploud proved surprisingly deadly for me early game, and I never used them in Hoen. STAB Uproar did an absurd amount of damage, and they actually have pretty high special attack.
MetrololAce
Ya I'll be the first to admit it. Dark Rising introduced me to a more "difficult" pokemon game, but I had no idea how fun the 6v6 gym leader battles could be! Its actually a true pve challenge. Before Reborn and then Rejuvenation, I never enjoyed Pokemon more! It will either change your life or make you realize you only enjoy the series for its nostalgia.
