nsbwinner2
Noel is way too easy. His Wigglytuff spammed Dazzling Gleam on my Magcargo, which did next to nothing. By that time, I had two Shell Smashes up and 6-0ed his team with the field effects.
Hexagoen
well, try e9 noel. see how you fair against that. double battle. still has clefairy. (gen 5) is overall rage. damm newbies being spoiled with e15 noel :C
biboo195
Remember that some of the Gym Leaders were nerfed quite heavily so that the new players can have a chance to beat them. I personally haven't faced pre-nerf Noel yet, but he wasn't as easy as this. Also the AI got worse with Essentials Version 15. Congrats anyway. BlueMoonIceCream
Don't laugh at noel his swellow will end you!, wait since when did he have a wigglytuff?
Fumble
I think the AI was also lowered when Reborn was updated for Essentials Version 15, and Ame and the group are trying to raise it back.
Administrators Ikaru Posted July 15, 2015 Administrators Share Posted July 15, 2015 The AI wasn't nerfed intentionally and Noel in particular is supposed to be set to the absolute highest.

Dhanush D Bhatt
Pre-nerf Noel, pre-nerf Serra, pre-nerf Aya.......i still shudder when i think of those gyms and the number of tries i needed to get past them*shudders*

(gen 5) is overall rage. damm newbies being spoiled with e15 noel :C No doubt E9 Noel is a monster...I've only been playing since E13, but he's been the easiest for me ever since I started Don't laugh at noel his swellow will end you!, wait since when did he have a wigglytuff? 1. any really set-up pokemon will end his swellow 2. He had Wigglytuff since E14
XxSilentWinterxX
Pre-Nerf Noel....he was a bloody nightmare. *shudders* Took me 15 tries to beat him, but the satisfaction when I did... I screamed.
Kithros
Every gym leader that isn't a 2v2 fight is a pushover if you have the right setup sweeper for them. The AI just doesn't know how to deal with setup sweepers at all properly.
Foamy
Does Noel still have Cinccino, Porygon-Z, or Staraptor?
Fumble
Does Noel still have Cinccino, Porygon-Z, or Staraptor? I'm pretty sure he has Cincinno and Porygon-Z, but no more Staraptor. Could be wrong though.
Dragon116
Team is Wigglytuff, Cinchinno, Swellow, Porygon-Z, Clefable, and something else I can't think of at the moment. Pretty sure it was another dual-type.
Xiri
Yep his last Pokemon is a Girafarig
Dragon116
Basically a steel type with dark, steel, rock moves will sweep his team (provided there are no ground or fire moves I'm not thinking of). And if there is, try bringing in something with follow-me or a similar target attracting move.
Imperial
Several of his pokemon have HP fire, boosted by the grassy field. So steel is not a really good option
nsbwinner2
Several of his pokemon have HP fire, boosted by the grassy field. So steel is not a really good option That's why I owned his gym with a Fire/Rock type...field effect boosts from fire + rock-type resistances to his normal type moves are monstrous Edited July 16, 2015 by nsbwinner2
XxSilentWinterxX
Having a Camerupt with Iron Head should make it a lot easier. Also has the steel to help beat Fairies.
Monochrome_Complex
How easy Noel is really depends on what pokemon you have. He can still be pretty nasty especially if Porygon Z outspeeds like half your team.
