Is this team good?

Before anything, i'm not American, or from a country who talks english, so please, if i messed up something, let me know, okay? Let's go.

When i played reborn for the first time, i've got stuck in the second poison gym (In Byxbysion Wasteland or something like that) and i stopped playing for a while. Last friday i downloaded the Episode 15 and started the game again, now i'm in Beryl Ward thinking what team i should have. By now, this team helped me so much, but i know that i need to change some of

them.

Spr_5b_002.png

Cozmos (Ivysaur) / Lv. 28

@Overgrow

Take Down

PoisonPowder

Razor Leaf

Leech Seed

>Cozmos helped so much in double battles with Razor Leaf. Yeah, that's all.

Spr_5b_317_m.png

Franmalth (Swalot) / Lv. 28

@Liquid Ooze

Amnesia

Acid Spray

Toxic

Sludge

>Franmalth seems to be a very good pokémon, very bulky and Acid Spray is a danger against the opponents and saved me so many times. Toxic was super helpful in the battle against ZEL and the Chatot guy ( Forgotten his name ;-; )

meowstic__m__by_vale98pm-d6ysxcy.png

Yuki (Meowstic) / Lv. 28

@Prankster

Fake out

Psyshock

Light Screen

Charge Beam

>My plans for him is to be a dual screener, but he have only Light Screen (If anyone knows where the TM for Reflect pls tell me). Charge Beam is sooo useful, i won the battle against PULSE with Light Screen + 2 Charge Beam + Psybeam (Who now is Psyshock)

Spr_5b_599.png

Metal Gear (Klink) / Lv. 29

@Plus

Vice Grip

Charge Beam

Thundershock

Gear Grind

> I catched MG only to finish with Florinia's Cradily, but it went further than that, it was immune to ALL THE ATTACKS of the poison ninja guy's Crobat, and because of it i won the gym.

Spr_5b_351.png

Meteo (Castform) / Lv. 28

@Forecast

Sunny Day

Rain Dance

Hail

Weather Ball

>When i battled Florinia, i lost to her because of the Ferroseed, i have'nt any fire pokémon to deal with it, then i searched for all avaiable pokémon in the Obsidia, Onyx, Coral and Peridot ward, then i find a girl wanting to trade a pokémon for a Furret, i catched a Sentret, trained it, and traded, and then i received Meteo, who is an angel, she sweeped 4/6 of Florinia's team.

Pokémons that i plan to put on my team:

Spr_4p_134.pngSpr_5b_376.pngSpr_4d_059.pngSpr_5b_076.png

Vaporeon because of its insane HP

Metagross to counter Aya (I think that's the name of the second poison gym leader in Byxbysion W.)

Arcanine because of its speed and very good attacks

Golem because of Earthquake without TMs

I've searched on a thing called ethernet and discovered that Charlotte is a freaking monster, but i think with Meteo's Rain Dance + my future Vaporeon + Golem's Earthquake + Arcanine's Flash Fire and a possible Flying or Levitate pokémon will won this battle, what you guys think? Any hints? (I haven't seem any of Charlotte's pokémon)

Meowstic M learns Reflect at Level 35, so you don't need to worry about that.

EDIT: You can catch Numel and Pansear in Peridot when it's raining. For your future Arcanine, if you've saved all the police officers, you can get Growlithe from the Police Station. I'd use Muk over Swalot as it has better stats and movepool. You can find Grimer in the Wasteland or by fishing in the Shitbrown Lake. You can train new Pokémon up against the Grand Hall Trainers.

Oh thanks, i didn't pay attention on the moves of Meowstic

God, how Muk is superior on Movepool o.o

I never trained a Muk, and its Sp. Attack isn't that much... But i will try

No, you're right blaster. In fact, it has been pushed even farther til Luna. And you should totally play it mate :]]]

Other than the suggestions made by the others, I would recommend picking up for the next Gym Leader, which will be Shelly, an Emolga. An amazing mon for early game that you will come to love to you like many other people did.

To confirm alaneapen's statement, Eevee can be found in the Mysidia Railcave on windy nights between Aya and Serra. You can get the Water Stone while doing the Gang Quests.

True, Muk's Special Attack is a bit meh, but if you can be bothered to breed Curse and Shadow Punch onto it (Dusclops -> Grimer), then it makes for an offensive force and bulky tank with Gunk Shot (learned at Level 40) and Brick Break (given along with the 10th Badge, if you're still using Muk then). It's also easier to level up later on, as its experience type is medium fast as opposed to fluctuating.

You should also introduce yourself at the Grand Hall, since you're new here.

About Ghost type move coverage, I would prefer Shadow Sneak over Shadow Punch instead due to priority although with just 20 base damage lower. (It can be bred with Dusclops too.)

Your choice though.

you can't get metagross prior to aya w/ hacking but i don't play the reborn game at all anymore, so it might have changed.

Oh ._.

So, Aya is going to be more difficult than i thinked

Anyway, i already catched Emolga, i'll train it too, thanks

I thinked that Eevee is going to be in the Chrysolia Forest, i'll search more about him.

The gangs that you mean are the Team Aqua and Team Magma in Lapis yeah?

Where can i find Duskull? Shade's gym?

I think i will prefer Shadow Punch, thanks anyway

The metagross may be available before Radomus when you should have fixed the healing station in Aya's gym. You need to heal at aya's healing station and make your way to route 1 and defeat the bouffalant to ride on a tauros. Black out and it will respawn you in Aya's gym. Use the tauros to jump the ledges.

Yeah, and enter in a cave.

So, after Aya, the next Gym Leader is Radomus?

Hate to say, but Swalot won't do a lot, because there is way better options that it later on. If you absolutely want a Poison type, stick to Venusaur. The mystery egg trade can give some pretty interesting stuff. Or you can just go back to E14 for the Azurill

Also as for "Earthquake without a TM" Excadrill and Krookodile are both very good options, as well as Donphan. All of which you have already seen or are not far away from. Although Golem has Rock moves and Sturdy, which are both surprisingly useful.

I like Swalot because Gulpin learns Toxic at Lv. 25. Who is super useful. But i don't have in mind to keep up much longer with him

Can you explain that thing of "Mystery Egg"? How i get it?

Mystery egg is a randomized egg (1 in 18 chance) when you give a growlithe egg to the police station at Jasper ward after doing the police officer quest.

Ex: pawnaird, drilbur, staryu, tentacool, larvesta, togepi, shroomish etc. Be sure to pick one up and see which randomized egg you get. it might be useful.
