Your 3 Favorite Types

Polaris

Recommended Posts

About time I finally hopped onto this thread.

3. Dragon - This is the obvious 'badass' choice, so to speak. I love the pure power that comes with almost every single dragon I use in game. Whether it's a tanky Altaria or a sweeping Hydreigon, I love almost every dragon type that exists as they are all so powerful. Aesthetically they're an awesome type, too. Who doesn't wanna train a dragon?

Dragons I like: Salamence, Goodra, Dragonite, Altaria, Kingdra, Hydreigon, Rayquaza

Dragons I don't like: Goomy, Druddigon, Flygon, Garchomp

2. Steel - This quickly became my second favorite type after I played through my Reborn mono of Steel. Such an incredible type for both offense and defense as well as many awesome options made me realize how great this type is. Although they aren't the prettiest Pokemon to look at, the sheer creativity is evident when looking at all of the awesome steel types in the games. Steel also has a ton of competitive viability.

Steels I like: Steelix, Klinklang (yes, you heard that right.), Metagross, Jirachi, Dialga, Aegislash, Scizor, Forretress, Genesect, Ferrothorn

Steels I don't like: Bronzong, Heatran, Wormadam Trash

1. Flying - Certainly the most obscure and unexpected pick on this list for most -- the flying type outwardly seems to not have much going for it. However, it has incredible versatility for any playthrough. Being the 3rd most common type and having at least one dual type with all seventeen other types, it's no wonder that so many of these get into my teams. Due to an organizational personality quirk, I tend to only want to have one pokemon per type on all of my in-game teams. The only few times I break that rule are usually because I want multiple Fly-ers in my team! Oh, and the HM for Fly is an essential move that almost always forces me to use one of these majestic birds at some point. Such an awesome type that is almost always present in my teams. Flying types also seem to be my go-to win condition in competitive, too.

Flyers I like: Charizard, Ninjask, Art/Zap/Mol/Ho-oh/Lug/Raycraycray, Togekiss, Altaria, Swoobat, Crobat, Salamence, Drifblim, Ricky Rawsss, Hawlucha, Yveltal

Flyers I don't like: Talonflame, Skarmory, Vullaby, Chatot

Woah, you don't like Garchomp :o. First time I am hearing that (and also its my favourite dragon :P).

Dragon and Steel are my fav types too, except in this order.

1)Steel

2)Dragon

3)Ground

This is hard one... I'm one of those people that just pick a type and tries to make it work. Probably not the most "professional" way of playing pokemon but I've learned to enjoy each type for what they are and the benefits they bring to the table. That said, I've noticed my least used (and therefore less favorite types) are definitely Rock and Ground. I really don't like to pick a favorite because I like them all (minus the types mentioned earlier)... but if I really had to choose I'd go with Poison, Psychic and Grass.

I'm a big fan of moves that cause status effects, leech health and prevents the enemy from doing anything - drop confuse ray, then paralyze them, use fire vortex and leech seed. Alternatively I like to use sleep or bad poison and then rotate through the drain skills I have to restore my pokemon and kill my enemy slowly! I guess based on all of this I'm more of a defensive player... good thing I don't play competitively or else I'd either die before I finish my rotation or get stuck in a battle for half an hour, if I use wall pokemon. If I can't kill them then might as well make them use all of their PP, right?

3. Fairy. Just a lot of fun to use.

2. Ghost. So many interesting designs, also really fun to use.

1. Psychic. Again, very fun to use, and I feel like these are the Pokemon with the most personality, the ones who would be friends with the trainer rather than pets.

Brother is that you?

1. Dark Types ((using purple cause Black Text is like... just not easy to read.))

My defacto and easily favourite type. They just speak to me. Dark types are just so me it's not funny. I don't think there are many I dislike. One of my tow favourite mons of all time ((My number is tied between two.)), is a Dark Type so that makes it that much more obvious a choice for me. But I jsut like everything aobut them. They just represent cool ideas and things to me. They are tricksters and sly folk, but also big angry mob bosses and even inspired by some other strange sources. I love their moves as they usually inflict Flinch Secondarily even further driving home their trickiness. They are a mostly Physical Type with very few Special Attackers in their ilk though there is a few.

Top contenders: Houndoom ((aforementioned fav mon lol.)), Honchkrow, Liepard ((yes, I like Liepard... get over it XD>)), Krookidile, Scrafty, Pangoro, Bisharp, Hydreigon, Yveltal and Mighteyna ((yes I like this one too... also get over it XD.))

Least Favs: Absol ((just think it's kinda overrated, I just don't find it interesting personally.)), Malamar, and Hoopa-Unbound.

2. Bug Types

Poor... poor bug types. FOr the longest time... most of you guys were sorta trash. Gen 1 really didn't do them favors but they slowly got better as time went on. A lot of the regional bugs are still pretty bad as they level up super quickly and as a result have super poor stats that get quickly outclassed, heck... some of them don't even do well in early game which is the only point they are usable making them... kinda useless. 5th Gen was the holy grail though as all of a sudden the typical 3 stage early bugs were actually pushed back a bit as Pinwheel Forest was a bit later in the game rather than right away. As such they saw more proper evo paths ((though... Swadloon evo'd via Friendsship... and Friendship evo's suck buuuuutt....)). Not only that a lot of other Bugs got released as well that jsut really strengthed the Bug Types roster such as VOlcorona.

Top Contenders: Escavalier, Accelgor, Scizor, Scyther, Scolipede, Volcorona, Crustle, Galvantula, Venomoth, Shedinja ((jsut because of how different it is.)), and Yanmega.

Least Favourite: Durant ((walking garbage. Well... not literally.)), Male combee, Shuckle((seriously... I don't really get the hype behind this thing. Imo it's jsut bad... all the time.)), Parasect((msotly cause I wish it was a tad bit better.)), Ariados, and Ledian.

3. Flying Type

This one is actually the hardest to choose because well... most of the others are veeeeeeery closely tied. Flying just barely eeks over the edge though with having quite a few mons I'm pretty fond of ((one being my other absolute favourite mon tied with Houndoom.)) I have a sort of mixed feeling on Flying Type moves as they have a serious lack of anything reliable for some reason and have probably the least amount of moves that aren't just like do x amount of damage with good acc. They are stuck with things like Acrobatics and Brave Bird that both have drawbacks on the physical side, and Air Slash ((reduced damage and small chance to miss for the small upside of a flinch)) and Hurricane for Special. They definitely have some interesting status moves though in Defog removing hazards in comp, to things like Mirror Move. ((which would have been cool if Talonflame got... think of what you could do with it and Gale WIngs... there's definitely some potential there for it to do something cool.)),

Top Contendors: Farfetch'd ((Yep, my other favourite mon. Don't judge.)), Honchkrow ((returning from the dark list yes I know... but I like my some Mafia Boss... who can blame me?)), Skarmory, Lugia ((who's also... my fav Legend.)), Staraptor, Drifblim ((yes really. I have a weird soft spot for it... even if it is sorta... not that great.)), Chatot ((a.k.a tiny master of evil)), Sigilyph, Swanna, Braviary, Yveltal, Aerodactyl and Dragonite ((Puff the magic Dragon up in the hoooooouse.))

Honorable Mention: Unfezant, while I really like it's design... it's level up pool is god damn garbage. It's not a fun mon to use at all... I'd feel bad putting it on the Dislike List since I really really like it's design... but my lord it's movepool is probably one of the ABSOLUTE WORST in all of Pokemon.

Least Favourite: Noctowl ((once again, cause I wish it was better.)), Charizard... seriously... that thing is maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad overrated, Dodrio (( because it's bloody flightless... but pretends it isn't....)), Gyrados ((not because I hate it itself... but because it being Flying type is just weird...)), Togekiss, Swoobat a.k.a Worse Sigilyph, Hawlucha ((it's... just eh... I really don't like this thing. Especially when people say it should have been a Farfetch'd evo... cause hell no...))

and a quck run down of my least fav types

Fairy: I seriously don't think I like any faires that aren't Azumarill ((who I'm mildly okay with and just like using competitively and not much fondness of it really.)), Granbull, and Florges. one of my least fav mons belongs to this type being Gardevoir ((which people get mad at me for, but eh... I'm jsut not a fan... and people saying that I should be... makes me hate the damn thing more....))

Psychic: Not really a big fan of any of these guys either... I guess personally a lot of their designs just... aren't very interesting to me. I find a lot of them boring or just kinda plain. I dunno... Psychics types just don't hold my interest.

Electric: Other than a select few... dang I don't care for Electric types... They suffer all too often from poor movepools and on top of that are nearly always built as Fast Special Sweepers... like seriously there is nearly no variety in the type. All of them just feel like alternate versions of the same mon with slight variations... it's really frustratingly stupid... The few that do stand on their own legs are really awesome... but too often than not Electric types feel very cookie cutter, or paint by the numbers. They just feel uninspired and frankly... lazy. But that's my opinion lol.

Top 3 favourites eh....interesting.

Ghost: If you know me, you know that I love me some ghosts. I don't really know why but the bleary backstories these mons have really appeal to me and all are really cool. They use tricky moves such as curse, spite, destiny bond as that's stuff that ghosts that are portrayed in modern media and other stuff exhibit.

Amongst my favourites of the type are: Spiritomb, Dusknoir, Chandelure, Golurk, Giratina, Gengar, Sableye and Mismagius. Oh and you can't forget Mr.Pringles The least favourites for me personally of them would probably go to Drifblim or Trevenant, I've come to hate the latter with a Passion.

Dark: The self titled 'Evil type' definetly has it's fair share of cool pokemon. Every single pokemon of the Dark typing has some form of badassery. They're tricky pokemon, relying on they're generally high offensive stats and moves that cause flinches or confusion to whitle their opponent down before they can exploit their general lack of defensive bulk aside from a select few such as Mandibuzz and Umbreon.

I've got a lot of favourites amongst the Dark type but it contains my favourite pokemon in general;Absol but here are some others: Weavile, Houndoom, Mandibuzz, Bisharp, Umbreon, Honchkrow, Tyranitar, Hydreigon, Zoroark, Yveltal and Liepard. Oh and you can't forget Dakrai(I'd probably get crucified if I didn't >.>)Liepard is something more recent though. If I had to choose a least favourite pokemon of the type I'd choose Malamar in a Heartbeat...something about it's design just makes me feel weird....

Dragon: So uh, wee Dwagon everyone loves 'em. No real explanation needed here I guess, Dragons are awesome mythological creatures that were originally created to be a somewhat 'superior' type, but then the Fairy type happened and put them down quite a bit from that. I still believe Fairy's immunity to dragon is BS, I wouldn't mind a resistance but making them immune to it and then giving them rather obscure weaknesses went too far. Still like the Fairy type though.

Favourites: Garchomp, Hydreigon, Salamence(Damn you Wendel), Flygon , Dragonite, Altaria, Kingdra, Giratina, Rayquaza and Kyurem. Least favourite would probably be Druddigon, I really want to like it, but it was introduced in a generation with 2 vastly superior Dragon types beside it and the main trio of legendaries being Dragon type really hurt it. Still cool mon tho.

Hmm, Azery and Hukuna justified their choices, must do the same cuz I like writting about the stuff I like (in this case, types xD)

1) Ghost - This is best type. Like, every day of the week, every month of the year, every gen of the franchise (except 1), ghost rules. One ghost to rule them all, one ghost to find them. Since I discovered pokémon had types and that there was this one type called Ghost, it's grown to be my undoubted favorite of all times.

Statistically and type-wise, I love them because no matter what type you pair ghost with, you'll get something awesome, making it the defacto most awesome type on existence. Immune to normal and fighting, resistant to bug and poison, weak to itself and dark, pretty much makes it so that no matter what secondary type you give a ghost, you'll always end up giving it more or at least an equal amount of resistances than it has weaknesses. And this is true, go look it up, EVERY type combo with ghost has either the same or more resistances than it has weaknesses, AND, there's only one type combo with quadruple weaknesses, ghost/psychic. All of this makes ghost one of the best defensive types in the game together with fairy, steel and poison in my book. But offensively, is also great, being the single best offender for neutral coverage in the whole game, paired with dragon: normal has ghost immune to it and is resisted by rock and steel; dark has nothing immune to it, but is resisted by itself, fairy and fighting; Ghost and Dragon, on the other hand, are each resisted solely by one other type (dark and steel, respectively) and have one thing immune to them (normal and fairy, respectively), making them the two best neutral offenders in the game.

Ghost also generally have great stats: they make up for generally low HP with great attack, defense, special attack, special defense and speed, and well, that in the cases where they actually have low HP. Even the two ghost types with the lowest BST, Shedinja and Sableye, are both beasts in their respective niches: if your opponent has nothing to hit Shedinja with you've won, as simple as that, and there are few things that can NOT get burned, poisoned, taunted, swaggered or shadow sneaked by a Sableye.

Move and role-wise, ghosts are defined by bulbapedia as "mainly used to inflict status conditions". Welp, not gonna say that's not true: most, if not all, of the ghosts I use have either w-o-w or toxic. But far from depending on those moves alone, ghosts can be good attackers, good defenders, good supporters, good whatever. They aren't the best at those roles (in general), but they can play every single one of them, being in my eyes as versatile as the normal type.

Ghosts are also annoying. VERY annoying. And that's another of the reasons that they're my fav type. Pain Split, w-o-w, destiny bond, grudge, shadow sneak, curse, hex, night shade, nightmare, trick-or-treat, cursed body, shadow tag.... they are the ultimate annoying type, and that strikes me in a good way. I love being able to annoy without having to necessarily stall to death the opponent, because that takes long and is boring.

Is a type that I can personally say I love each and every single pokémon on it design-wise. I have tried to find a ghost I don't like, and I can say there simply is none: from Shedinja to Giratina, all of them are great and lovable.

Most favorite ghosts: ALL OF THEM (top 1 being Gourgeist <3 )

Less favorite ghosts: none. If anything, there are some that are a pain to fight against (namely Cofagrigus, Aegislash, Trevenant), but that's part of their charm to be, so I can say no ghost type I don't like. Rotom forms I don't consider ghost types, because they're not.

2) Psychic - Had the best time of its life in gen 1, being immune to ghost and only having to worry about a strong STAB pin missile (this is, nothing at all XD), and despite further gens have only nerfed it with the additions of things like the dark type, instead of acting like the fanboys of dragon types do with fairies for being immune to their dragons, I instead love the dark type as well, so wicked cool of a type, but just not in my 3 favs (it actually takes the 5 spot lol). I will keep loving psychic and everything related to it, from the ability magic guard to some of my favorite moves, like psychic, miracle eye, trick room, and so on.

Not as notable type-wise as ghost is, but hey, you can only be so awesome. They instead have no immunities and just two resistances to fighting and itself (I always thought they should resist fairy and poison as well: such a high intelligence should be resistant against pixie magic and mundane chemical venoms), but a man can dream. Offensively, they're one out of 2 types able to handle poison super-effectively, and they can also hit fighting types pretty pretty hard.

They're very varied statistically as well. There are straight offenders like Alakazam, with gargantuan SpA and Speed, but horrible defensive prowess. Others, such as Reuniclus, can use magic guard and a variety of shenanigans such as trick room to last long. Some are bulkier or have tricks even dirtier than dark types, like Wobbuffet, so cheap that it will always wait for you to attack it first, and unless you have a status move or a SE move, if you switch into it, you've lost that mon. Oh, did I mention ghost types are immune to all trapping moves and abilities? another reason that justifies the spot they occupy for me xD

Most favorite psychics: all of them really, but Top spots are Reuniclus (is a CELL for arceus' sake), Delphox (favorite starter tied with Serperior), Sigilyph, Gardevoir and Malamar.

Less favorite psychics: the mega forms of mewtwo, overpowered as fuck and shouldn't exist in the first place, similar to mega metagross, and I guess I could count in mega gardevoir/gallade, but you can actually kill those, unlike the god-like fucks mentioned above. Hoopa-unbound would be here if A) it wasn't so sick-looking and B) it wasn't devastated by a single x-scissor.

3) Fairy - The type of hatred. Like really, reeeeally the type of hatred. A type fans complained, ranted, mistrusted, devaluated and hated upon learning of its existence, but if they had any reason (and they do in some things), the fault would ultimately be Gamefreak's, not the type. That's one of the things that makes it appealing to me: the fact that, just by existing, it can annoy and make mad so many people, is an incredibly cute and tiny beast that feeds on the hate it generates and only gets stronger and monster-like inside, and I tend to love characters like these in media. I still find it funny and ironic how the fairy type is basically the same as the dark type in gen 2 (both 1 immunity, fairy is strong against 3 and dark against 2, fairy is weak against 2 and dark is weak against 3), and yet everyone loved dark types and hated on fairy types. Must be because dark types didn't nerf dragons XD

But outside of the jokes, fairy is a very good type, at least to me, for two reasons: it gave poison a HUGE boost in the competitive scene, like, I never saw anything other than toxic before fairies, and I rarely saw poison types either, so it makes me such so happy that poison is made so worth by this type being weak to it. Unlike steel, whose offensive attacks suck outside of bullet punch/iron head/meteor mash/flash cannon (and why I think fairies didn't really helped steel that much), poison has always had the moves to become a good offensive type, but never had the chance as there were so many better choices to get rid of grass. But what you got for fairies? it seems to be you'll be needing good ol' poison for the pesky pixies. Derived from these, I love the fact that Dragalge gets used because it can get rid of fairies so well: Dragalge is a sick-looking dragon type, yet I bet my ass it would get less usage if fairy types weren't there to help it be SE against them.

The second reason is that it is a type built around special defense (in general, like how ghosts usually have low HP), and the majority are VERY good special walls, and have good movepools, derived from the fact that most fairy types were previously normal types, who have WIIIIIIDE movepools. Fairy clefable gets moves I'm sure it wouldn't if it was planned as a fairy type all along.

There are some things I'd change about fairies tho, is not all love and roses as it is with ghost. For example, I'd made them no longer resist bug. The poor bug types, my 4th favorite type, don't need another thing resisting them, AT ALL. I'd actually make bug reist fairy instead, it would be so incredible for some overlooked bug/poison types. Psychic types (and arguably, grass types) should also resist fairy in my opinion.

Most favorite fairies: most of them, but Top spots are Clefable, Azumarill and Sylveon.

Less favorite fairies: xerneas, because geomancy is just too OP (you're not supposed to get 2 quiver dances in one, that's not how balance works you!), mr mime (because I think it should have been left as pure psychic or if anything be psychic/normal) and Aromatisse/Spritzee, because they CLEARLY had a chance to make them fairy/flying, and make Aromatisse into a neat design based on a flamingo or even the obscure plague doctor, but no, they had to go with the cabarette stubby thing. Such a let down.

Short and simple.

1. Ghost

Simply my favourite type, none of the ghost pokemon i hate because i love all of them.

Beside competivie, i had most of the time a ghost pokemon in my team in the main games.

They never dissapointed me, i had a ton of fun with them.

2. Flying

It's a lot of different flying combination, and i had always a flying pokemon with my team.

Really nostalgic, and is still really fun to use in the main games.

Just simply amazing, also i'm pretty much close to wind, which flying is the closest one.

3. Fight

What can i say, it's one of the most used type and i love the type.

Fighting type is just powerhouse and have so many nice pokemons.

Always had fun with it, never tired of it. One of the best typing in pokemon game really.

My list in order is:

1-Psychic, i like myself a good special attacker 'cause not many mons have special defense to begin with, psychic type might just be amongst the best type to sweep, plus psychic type always has cool designs

2-Ghost, also same reason as above with additional less weaknesses

3-Ice/Dragon, i know they are contrast, i m an indecisive person, and i cant decide which type is in third place, so just drop both in, honestly dont understand where the hate is coming from for vanilluxe line and i love mamoswine. i always have fascination for mythological creatures hence love for dragon type

It's time for the world to know (or just be reminded) of my preferences.

Ground : The type of the Earth. Seriously underrated type, having 2 resistances (rock and poison) and 1 immunity (to electric), Ground could ask for more on the defensive side. Offensively it's one of the best, wrecking teams, as 5 types are weak to it, and even if a flier appears, Ground types usually have a good movepool to get rid of them, mainly Rock and Ice type attacks. Another thing that adds to the type is the great variety it has. Most people think immediately of bulky pokemon, mostly used as tanks or walls like Gliscor, Hippowdon, and Quagsire, when speaking about the Ground type. However one can also find great supporters like Swampert and Garchomp, some fast sweepers like Excadrill, the vicious Landorus bros, and Krookodile, or just heavy hitters like Golurk, Diggersbytho and Mamoswine. And of course, who can forget his majesty, the one who knows all, the unstoppable (under certain conditions) powerhouse Nidoking is?

Naturally, Ground itself has a shortage of good moves to exploit, mainly having to deal with Earthquake and Earth Power for both the physical and special side of the competitive attacks. Fortunately it has a vast array of moves to use, thanks to the many different secondary typings, and the fact that Ground types essentially have to learn moves from other types to compete.

Being immune to paralysis outside of Body Slam and Glare is a great way to sweep, and even if you didn't, the generally good defensive stats guarantee you wouldn't go down without dealing some serious damage yourself.

Funny thing is that the current megas Ground has are few and do not help the type as much as it needs it, but they sure can destroy the enemy teams given the chance. Just take a look at Camerupt after 2 Rock Polish, or Garchomp with the adequate paralysis support.

We need the following type combinations: Ground/Fighting, Ground/Bug. Ground/Dragon, Ground/Fairy, and more of Ground/Dark and Ground/Ghost

Next type is Steel. Those little pesky things define the metagame with their presence in both defense and offense. Actually being so sturdy just thanks to their type, almost always guarantees problems for your opponent. Weak to the most major offensive types (fire, fighting, ground), they know they should have serious reasons to stay in the game, and they do with their great amount of resistances (and an indifferent immunity to poison). Nerfed to not be able to stop Ghost and Dark anymore, they lost a bit defensively, but they gained a lot offensively, being one of the two only threats to the new menace of the meta, the fairies. Truth be told, Steel benefited more from the Fairy birth than Poison, mainly because it was already a good type to use and, compared to the Poison type, you have more pokemon to work with. Don't judge me wrong. I adore the Poison type, but I feel that they were not treated as equals, being given mediocre movepools, lower base stats, and few secondary typings that could help bring them into the competitive without having to rely on certain niches. Steel didn't have that. Some Steel pokemon rely on their brute strength and sturdiness to survive, while others are complacent about their mediocre-to-good base stats and good defensive typing to go all-out and wreck havoc.

Steel types can serve a multitude of roles, and the most fascinating thing is that the same pokemon could play different roles based on the team it's in. Certainly things like Ferrothorn, Bronzong, Skarmory, and Empoleon are more passive players that may deal damage based on the occasion, but you'd also look at Heatran, Aegislash, Scizor, Aggron, and Metagross, that can work defensively at one point, be a scarfed sweeper at another, or just go crazy, pull of a mega evolution and decide to finish with your team a few turns earlier.

We need the following type combinations: Steel/Poison, Steel/Fairy, and more of Steel/Water, Steel/Fighting

Third type in terms of fondness could only go to Rock. Underrated, ridiculed, cast away by those who cannot understand the power they hold. Certainly they come along with many weaknesses that vary, so they can never feel safe. Sure, there are few Rock type pokemon that can stand their ground against the vast majority of the metagame being able to land a Super Effective hit. Definitely, I have not forgotten how few of them are seen in the meta, and how some repeat themselves. However, there is no team without a Rock coverage move, and multiple Rock resistances. Funny how the type used the least in the meta (even behind Ice) is the one every player fears the most. Even funnier is how, through all generations, they didn't dare give Rock a strong move with perfect accuracy or one with side-effects that lower stats, much like every other type has. Up until now, only 4 moves are viable for competitive (2 physical, 2 special) with the 2 special ones being so scarce, you won't even see them unless you battle a Diancie or a random HP-Rock.

However, Rock has it's quirks that bring its abilities to the frontlines and make monsters like Tyranitar, Terrakion, and Aerodactyl, look even more fierce. Basic source of badassery; the sand. I hope nobody forgets how Rock types get a 50% boost in SpD when the sand's up. If Tyranitar was not so weak to Fighting and Earthquake was not so common, you would not dare face it in the sand, especially since its other weaknesses are more often than not, not STAB boosted, therefore not guaranteeing a kill.

Moving on to the next best thing that makes the type cool again, and that's no other than the one, the only move almost guaranteed to be seen in every single match. No I'm not talking about Hyper Beam, you genwunners. It's Stealth Rock. Yes, the move that's wrecked so many friendships and makes Fire, Ice, Flying, and Bug types think twice before entering the scene again is of the Rock type.

Speaking of Rocks, yes there is the problem that they are also underrated as a type and many pokemon could use some better stats or movepools to be better in the competitive, and being given a wider selection of secondary typings would be great, since they can use them to a full extend. Even so, in the lower tiers you can make use of walls like Cradily and Gigalith, man up and attack with Armaldo, Tyrantum and Rhyperior, or just sweep the floor with Aerodactyl and Barbaracle.

We need the following type combinations: Rock/Electric, Rock/Ghost, Rock/Poison, and more Rock/Fighting, Rock/Bug and Rock/Flying

Notes:

1) I am well aware the types above benefit most from Sand teams

2) Forth place goes to Poison, Fairy and Psychic, even if the top 3 are just minor preferences over the other types. I love all types equally. Except for you, Ice.

3) The Zygarde forms are going to Rock, shake the Ground, and be hard as Steel
