TM Breeding

Hey, not sure where suggestions should go. Anyways, breeding for IV's has been pretty straightforward, and very generous with Reborn's shiny chance + shiny charm. As most of you probably know, in 6th gen, parents no longer pass down TM moves, and a lot of Pokemon need a few TM's to round out their movepool (Poison Jab, Thunderbolt/Ice Beam, Earthquake, Stone Edge, etc.)

I was wondering if would be possible to get some kind of help in this department. The design philosophy for Reborn has obviously been one that prevents you from getting an easy steamroll team (high BST's, strong TM's) too early. I was wondering if anyone else would like an item that could give you TM's through breeding only, not activatable to make things too easy. I was thinking:

A.) An alternative hold item (maybe Blue Moon Ice Cream or something) that allows parents to pass down any TM's/Move Tutor moves learnable by the baby as egg moves, e.g.,

(M) Lapras @ Blue Moon Ice Cream

- Thunderbolt

- Water Pulse

- Body Slam

- Heal Bell

(F) Nidoran @ Blue Moon Ice Cream

- Tackle

- Growl

- Poison Jab

- Iron Tail

Gives a baby Nidoran with Thunderbolt, Water Pulse, Poison Jab, and Iron Tail. If you have >4, priority goes by moveslot order, or maybe Egg > TM > Tutor

B.) Getting an "inactive" form of a TM that cannot be used to teach moves, but will pass on that move to a Baby Pokemon (make them really expensive, require a Pokerus to attach, put them behind some kind of non-monetary obstacle, require both parents, or maybe single-use?)

(M) Magcargo @ "Inactive Energy Ball"

- Yawn

- Ember

- Rock Throw

- Shell Smash

(F) Haunter @ "Inactive Energy Ball"

- Curse

- Confuse Ray

- Spite

- Ominous Wind

Gives a baby Gastly with Hypnosis, Lick, and Energy Ball.

Thoughts? Really want an Ice Beam Nidoking, heh.

I find it a hilarious twist of irony that Game Freak inadvertently made Reborn harder by no longer making TM moves breedable.

It makes sense in that context, though, since TMs are now infinite anyways.

But for those of us who want to give Thunderbolt or Ice Beam or Toxic to our Pokémon? We're SOL.
