CoolTrainerGary
Where is the best place to grind up to battle Ciel? Idk how I managed this, but my highest level pokemon is level 66... the level cap is 75........ I've been grinding in the Celistinine Mountain, but it is such a slow process, I cant w/ it no more, so where is a better place.
BreezyPonie
In Agate Circus, there is a clown who will fight you with a bunch of different teams, each consisting of three Pokemon that are all level 65. He should help you.

mde2001
Probably don't worry about getting all the way up to the level cap as I don't feel Ciel needs that but it shouldn't take you too long given how great the clown is for grinding (especially pink!) Monochrome_Complex
Careful though, team black is kind of a pain. Freakin snorlax :/ The repeatable trainers added in ep 15 really make grinding so much more manageable. Never do I have to relive the horror of raising a noibat late game again! Yes this clown can catch you off guard at some points if you aren't careful. First time I battled him it was his blue team in the rain! X( I love the repeatables because i lets smoe of my newer pokemon catch up on levels pretty quickly.
KokoroSunagaru
Are all these things about repeatable trainers, items and pokemons supposed to be hidden? Like, how are you supposed to know you can battle them again? Unless you happen across them again. Are you supposed to find out about these things on your own? And can you keep fighting the trainers at Grand Hall and Circus only once?

They say curiosity killed the cat, but in our case, it makes us better trainers.

As such, they can now be battled as many times during a day as a trainer would like.
Odybld
And all of that masks the big issue in Reborn: after the Shade-to-Aya jump, experience between cap jumps is just scarse, without grinding or deploying a strictly 6-mon team the player is bound to fall far behind. And tried to address it by nerfing every trainer from Noel to Charlotte, further diminishing available non-grinding exp. Not to mention the fits of training up a new team member. Sorry for not being strictly on-topic, but I think the game needs more trainer fights between leaders, and trainers with more pokemon, and more second or third evo stages. Sorry for not being strictly on-topic, but I think the game needs more trainer fights between leaders, and trainers with more pokemon, and more second or third evo stages. I'd say Noel is the only really big issue in the regards (Luna technically was, but she was on the easy side). I mean yeah you're going to have to grind a new Pokemon once in a while, but that'd be 20 minutes unless you want a whole new team. I can say a bit more about this due to the trainer changes in the hardcore mod I helped create. Having more fully evolved Pokemon did pretty much reduce the grinding effect to the point you will be right at the cap for Florinia (due to an increase for Julia) if not be overleveled making easy to have rotation teams. But yeah, hardcore has a major surplus of exp to the point I used a rotation team when testing (even used a Dodrio up to Radomus) which is useful as you pretty much can't beat a leader with a team of six. The only place that grinding is a problem is at Noel which is why I considered putting a chansey there. As for the vanilla Reborn, I rarely found the caps bothersome or grinding took that long (outside of noel). It doesn't matter what rpg you play. If you put someone new on the team, you have to baby them for a bit before you can use them. But a good rule of thumb to grinding (outside of trainers) is to find the highest wild Pokemon area where you can one shot everything (such as Amethyst Cave).
