[IC] Fate/Reborn [First Holy Grail War]

"My name is Debronee," The man whispered. "Call me whatever you please, Master."

The girl, evidently shocked over the event, introduced herself, her voice cutting in between over her fear. His master's name was Yukine, and she was, as expected, a magus. Debronee could sense a certain degree of strength emanating behind the visage of seemingly frail girl.

A prostitute.....such a word was unfamiliar to him, but he could tell from the girl's melancholic face that she had been through things; terrible things no one else had. As her eyes struggled to keep the water in as they continued trembling at the man's expressionless gaze, he spoke again.

"You seem troubled, Master." Debronee's tone lightened. Her timid stature convinced him that it wasn't just the shock of the summoning that frightened her; it was himself. "Do forgive me to have discomforted you. However, it is my promise, and duty, that I see to that you are unharmed and well."

The girl seemed confused and unsure of the current circumstances. It would seem difficult enough to assure her that only good intentions he would provide her as per his summoning here.

"You have called me here for a purpose." He continued. "To see to that we strive and win for the Holy Grail. My existence clings on a sustainable source of mana, particularly from a mage, as yourself, Master, have mentioned. To this, there are six others, like me, like you, Master, that have developed their pacts, and strive for the same goal; however, only one pair can acquire the Grail, and with it, comes any wish you desire, Master."

"Until I die, or until we obtain the Grail, I will be your ally. Your sword, and your shield." He reaffirmed. "You have my word."

"Oooh, I see, I see." Frog's brow furrowed as he leaned backwards. "Then I summoned you. But that's just as awesome as if I made you, isn't it? Haha!" He grinned at the girl before turning around to pick up his knife. He grabbed the bloodied towel from earlier and used it to clean the shining knife as best as he could without any water or cleaning stuff. "These tatooes are the mark of our contract, then. And you're my Servant. Like a maid or something..? Or are you like a clay golem, just made from the blood I made the circle from? Hmm....." He frowned and looked up, shrugging. "I don't think I get how this all works..." Frog said, sheathing the knife back onto his loosely tied belt hanging off beneath the hoodie, next to six other knives.

He turned back to the girl, a confused look on his face as she mentioned the grail thing. "Compete? Compete in what exactly?" Was the girl unsure of that herself? "I... I don't think I know much more than you do, eheh..." He grinned apologetically, scratching the back of his head. The only thing he knew was how to make the circle because he saw it in his dream, but, to be honest, he did feel there was something important that was about to happen. Something as threatening as it could be rewarding.

"So... Should I call you Silva, or Caster? Caster sounds more like a title, though. What does it even mean?" He frowned, looking down at the girl seriously. She seemed happy go lucky enough. But there were moments where he could feel there was something darker turning behind the scenes. He sighed, eventually. "Well, in any case..." The young man extended his hand out to the girl, grinning widely. "My name is Frog, the most powerful human this world had ever seen! Haha! If you want, we'll win this grail thing you say. But I get a share of it if we do win it, ookie?"

Debronee and Yukine

Yukine relaxed a little as the man's - Debronee's - tone lightened and he pledged his service. She was more than slightly confused. It was, perhaps, the first time anyone had treated her with anything resembling respect, and thus she knew not how to react.

"Uh... well... I'm happy that you're willing to fight for me, but this whole War thing... I'm not sure how useful I'll be in a fight... I'm an illusionist, not a battlemage. And physically I'm not very strong either... I'm afraid I might just turn out to be a burden..."

This, she said while twisting around uncomfortably and fiddling around with her fingers. Then, she nodded, and resolved herself, taking a deep breath.

"But. If you're okay with that burden. If you're willing to ally with a useless Master like me. Then I'll try. I'll do my best to reach the grail, for the both of us. I will fight alongside you as your ally and friend. You have my word."

The girl was unsure of herself, but Debronee felt a slight relief bestowed upon him upon hearing his Master's newfound resolve.

"Judge lightly not of yourself, Master." Debronee said. "Worry not of that; it is usually the Servant who fights, and, as a double-edged rule, any pair whose Master is defeated is forfeit of the Grail. Worry not, however, but my one sole priority, is to keep you safe, Master, and it pleases me in itself that you have the resolve to fight. Regardless of soul, cooperation surmounts any strength. I see to it that we will make a potent pair."

"Now," Debronee repeated another bow, extending a gloved hand. "Your orders, Master? Or need I explain more? I shall leave no doubt unanswered."

Debronee and Yukine

"Uhm... orders, orders..."

This was a wholly uncomfortable experience for Yukine. She had never given another individual any sort of command before. She scrunched her eyebrows in thought, using her newfound resolve to direct the entirety of her mental faculties to the consideration of strategy.

"Uuuuuuuu..."

Well, if she was going to be placed in the midst of a war, she certainly didn't want to have to stay in the brothel. Wanting to keep her mother from danger was one factor, but the irregularity and frequency of clients, along with the strict no-leaving policy enforced by the management, would hinder any attempts to make any significant plans. Not to mention, it would be hard to explain why she had a tall, white-haired man in her room who was not a client.

So the first step was to get out of here. Perhaps this would also serve as a good opportunity to see Debronee's capabilities, along with to observe their compatibility as a team.

"Well, um... first of... maybe you could get me out of here? Like, away from this place, with minimal bloodshed. Please?"

She described the room to the Servant. They were located on the 3rd floor, with windows that, while they could be opened, had window grilles installed. The side with these windows were on the left of the bed, and they faced the main streets. There was also a large, open balcony, with glass sliding doors and curtains, that could be accessed, but that faced a large, 5-metre deep canal, and any kind of jump from there had a high chance of getting oneself dashed upon the rocks which lined the canal. The door was of mahogany, which could be locked either from the inside or the outside, and led to a long corridor of similar rooms, culminating in a spiral staircase that led up to the 4th floor and down to the lower 2 floors. On the first floor was the main lobby, a single stretch with no cover, and a receptionist's desk at the entrance. Also in the lobby were several security personnel, meant to deal with clients who refused to pay, as well as watch out for any of the girls who were trying to leave without permission.

As she finished her rundown of the building's structure, something occurred to her.

"Oh, uh, one thing... Servants have classes right? So, if you'd please, could you tell me your class, Debronee? Um...Please?"

"Oh, my apologies." Debronee turned to Yukine, after hearing her briefing of the building's structure and peering outside the window. He had forgotten to introduce his class, and scolded himself in his mind for it. "I am of the Assassin Class."

The way his master described their situation, they were like Hansel and Gretel in the witch's cottage; or insects in a spider's web. Whoever made this place planned the security elaborately and strictly, it would take a miracle for a normal person to escape. While Debronee felt confident he could take the personnel alone, his master's request to avoid any unnecessary strife -- admittedly a forte of his, as it may -- made him rethink a plan. He took a few steps toward the window and examined the view from outside, noticing weathered, flickering streetlights that illuminated the ground beneath them, the late night meaning that only little by-passers were there. It mattered not, nonetheless; the night would cover Debronee like an invisible veil, if he so desired. He then surveyed the outside of the balcony; while open, getting out from there safely was, admittedly, more risky the the window, albeit manageable. Debronee wondered if his Master was one who could tolerate leaping from such a high distance, before brushing the thought aside and returning to the windows. He then opened them and ran his fingers upon the cold steel that sealed the open space of the window, that aligned the otherwise easy way to escape. Odd gestures from his fingers allowed him to determine the stability of the metal. With that, he finalized his plan.

"Well, then, Master, I have several means to escort your escape." He turned to his Master again. "Although with minimal bloodshed and the least risk, I would suggest the window; the balcony can also work, but that's a matter of whether of not you're comfortable with......a moderately steep jump. Is the room built in with an alert system of sorts? The grills aren't that solid; breaking them would be easy, but it'd be best to be wary."

Debronee and Yukine

Yukine smiled ever so slightly, for the first time.

"Well... it used to be, but I cut the wires years ago. I've never been able to remove the grille with my own strength though."

As she said that, Yukine's mind stored the information about Debronee. Assassin. One who struck from the shadows and went for the surprise kill. As she talked, she started formulating strategies in the back of her mind.

War, she reasoned, was like sex. It was about two parties, who both wanted something from the other, and was driven often by a raw human emotion. And the strategy of sex was one she had learned in great detail.

To please a client, one had to be able to readily adopt different strategies depending on the client. Some men preferred it when a girl was upfront and eager. Some preferred their whores to act coy or embarrassed.

In this war, too, one could take a myriad of strategies. One could call out all the opponents to lure them into a battle royale, one could silently stalk their enemies from the shadows, striking when the enemy least expected. One could set up a fortress and wait for enemies to inevitably come to them.

With an Assassin as a Servant, the best strategy would be a subtle one, maintaining a low profile and striking or moving surgically, keeping to the shadows. With this criterion, Yukine began planning. As she did so, she spoke up again.

"So... I'll trust in your strength, Debronee. Please get me out of this hell."

"Without delay, my Master. Please, step back." Debronee answered deferentially.

As the girl stepped away from the window, she watched him with concerned eyes. Surely if he intended to break the bars by force, it wouldn't be a surprise if someone would hear it.

"A blade is most potent when not sensed," Debronee conveyed convincingly, as if giving an answer to a riddle. "A blade unseen -- or unheard -- is a blade deadliest."

Debronee stared at the metal grills -- his target, the inanimate object his sword hungered to break. With a swift movement, he lashed his blade at the grills at an unseeable speed and skillful force, yet with a silence breathless with adoration. Silently, the grills slit into pieces, Debronee being careful to pick them up before the echo of the steel cluttered onto the solid ground.

The evening wind of the outside world entered the secluded room, the breeze so free, so exquisite, giving off the scent of freedom the girl longed for. The delicate moment seemed a luxury beneath the walls that kept them like a prison with no way out, the open space of the window now the beginning of their route to their escapade.

"One more thing. When I take you out, Master....where do you wish to go?"

Vance and Lily

Cooking, cleaning, sewing... Those were all pretty normal things for a servant to know. He wondered how she did it all with her current condition, but decided to refrain from asking. He had probably offended her enough already. Besides, the last things she had said concerned him more.

"Martial arts? I suppose it's not so strange of a hobby, though I once again have to wonder about her current state. But... Rider-class. What could that mean?"

Vance sighed. He felt like he was just barraging this poor girl with question after question, though to be honest, this was the most interested he had been in something in a long time. She seemed very nice and polite, which was rare among people these days.

"Well, since you told me about yourself, I suppose I should tell you a bit about me. As I said earlier, my name is Vance Hollow, meaning that I'm from the Hollow bloodline of magicians, making me a magician myself. You probably already knew that though, if I truly did summon you here. I'm a 5th generation mage, which is fairly strong among the modern mage families, though by no means the strongest. I specialize in fire magic."

He breathed out slowly, slumping his shoulders.

"To be honest, I want nothing to do with magic. From what I've seen of my family, mages are just a bunch of greedy elitists, only looking out for their own needs. I just want to be free of all that."

He paused, meeting Lily's eyes.

"To be honest, I have no idea where we go from here. Are you just to be my servant, then? All I know was that spell was supposed to give me a servant of some sort. And while that initially seemed like a nice idea, I don't really like the idea of forcing somebody to do my bidding, especially somebody as nice as you. That's exactly the sort of thing I'm trying to break away from myself."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sylva and Frog

Frog? That was certainly a strange name for a human, or at least, it would have been in her time. Perhaps that was common nowadays.

"Well... I like the name Sylva, but you get to call me whichever you want! You're the master after all!"

There was a bright smile on her face as she spoke. "And if you're the most powerful human in the world, we should have no problem winning whatever kind of challenge this Grail has in store for us!"

She twirled around again, suddenly stopping as he eyes focused on Frog. Sylva's skin paled and her face took on a stricken appearance. She was looking directly at the bloody towel and the array of knives at his belt. She thought back to his earlier words, the meaning of them finally dawning upon her.

"...just made from the blood I made the circle from?"

She slowly looked down to her feet, seeing for the first time the bloody symbol she was standing in. Her face scrunched up as if she were about to cry, and a few tears could be seen forming at the corner of her eyes. She fell to her hands and knees, her body wracked with sobs. Just what had gone on here before she arrived?

"M-master..." She called out between sobs, "what's... what's all this blood...?"

"Hehe, I like you already! Sure, you're just a kid, or some kinda magical thing, I dunno, whatever, it doesn't really matter. What's important is that you have the spirit, you know? And you're actually pretty nice. Polite and all that stuff. Together, we'll beat all of them, Caster." Frog's teeth shone once again as his mouth streched into a wide grin.

"You still haven't answered my question, though." He continued on as he started walking around the room in circles, looking away from the girl. "Caster as in... a mage? So like, you can do magic like I can do magic, right? Or Caster as i- Eh, what's wrong?" He stopped once he turned back around and saw the girl all trembling and whatnot. It took him a moment to realize what she was talking about. As she asked the question, Frog sighed. "You're such a kid, you know? Getting all flustered over a bit of blood. Besides, it ain't like I killed anybody! Look!" He raised his hands, looking straight up into the ceiling. "We're in a hospital. Hospitals have reserves of blood." He crouched over and picked up the emptied package of blood, waving it in front of himself for her to see before tossing it aside into the mess of brooms and towels around them. "See? Don't just go assuming things, geez!"

(OOC: Onyx finds the idea of just letting Vixen do her thing and doing her own thing to be very agreeable owo )

Onyx

"Hmm, well, I'm not sure about the Masters." Onyx mused, "How about I find the other Masters and Servants and then tell you which ones I want you to kill and which ones I want to kill? I can tell you're extremely powerful, so I'm sure if I asked you could just go kill them all for me, but I think it would be more fun to toy with them a bit first if that's alright with you."

She paused to ponder Archer's question. Why was she really doing this? She now knew that the Grail could grant her any wish, but what would she wish for? She was here now because she had been bred for it. When her family detected the strange magical shifts in Japan they had quickly began training their heiress to conquer it and that had been that.

"Well," she began, "I mean, I'm here because my family trained me to be here. Even if there weren't any reward I would still fight because I literally live for this war. however, when we win I think I'll wish that nobody will ever be able to deceive to me ever again. What about you, Archer, what wish have you for the Holy grail?"

Natalie

"Alright then, what do you want me to call you?" Natalie asked.

She wasn't entirely comfortable with becoming friends with her Master, as one or both of them were likely to die. But at the same time, since none of her sisters were currently about she supposed a friend would be nice. It wasn't like anything could overcome her Soul. She'd just have to be certain to keep her opponents focused on her since she had no way of defending her Master.

"We only need to kill one or the other, however killing both seems like the best way to win. Since if we leave only the Master or only the Servant then another lone Master or Servant could make a new pact with them and bring them both back into the war. I can sense other Servants when they are nearby, but we won't know their Masters unless they reveal themselves."

Silva stood slowly, wiping the tears from her eyes with the back of her hand. Her palms were now covered in the blood from the floor, as well as parts of her dress around her knees.

"...Sorry. It seems like I'm still just a child, at the end of the day. Even a few thousand years hasn't changed that part of me..."

It was strange. She should have no idea what a hospital was, yet as soon as her Master had said the word, she had instantly known the connotation. It was a large building where many people were cared for, using all sorts of technology. It seemed that whatever had brought her here had also supplied her without information about this era.

"As for your question, the information I've been supplied with tells me that Servants are divided into seven classes: Saber, Archer, Lancer, Caster, Assassin, Berserker, and Rider. Out of those seven, I seem to be the Caster class. I know all sorts of magic, so that must be why..."

She still seemed a bit shaken by the blood, but she mustered up a smile.

"Excuse me for asking, but is there somewhere I can wash this blood off?A bath or something? And maybe clean my dress as well?"

Wrinkling her nose, the blonde girl let out a small sigh. "You can call me Illiana or Illi, I haven't got a preference for which." She fell silent, musing on the information that Natalie had given her. To win the Grail, it is of best interest to kill both Servant and Master alike...

Rubbing her forehead, Illiana shifted her grey eyes to her new companion once more, contemplating how to go about their next move. With nothing immediately coming to mind, she blurted out suddenly, "What are your skills?" before immediately clapping a hand over her mouth. "I'm sorry," she mumbled, her abnormally white skin taking on a cherry hue. Taking a deep breath, Illiana uncovered her mouth again, speaking more calmly. "I mean, as a Servant, what is your skill set? I think I recall hearing you ask whom we were going to stab first."

The woman slightly shifted to run a hand through her hair, allowing a strand of white blonde hair to fall in front of her face as she studied the girl she had summoned. Deciding that she could be trusted, Illiana spoke before Natalie could, her voice hanging in the air. "I'm a mage that specializes Water. My talents lie as a healer, though I practice the Kali style of martial arts. I suppose it's quite the departure from my temperment," pausing to let out a nervous giggle. "Perhaps we'll do well, Natalie, in this Grail War that has brought us together."

Lily and Vance

"...huh? You don't know?"

Lily tilted her head quizically as she pondered what to say. Then, she spoke.

"Magical Space, Access."

The air around her visibly warped. It began to shimmer and distort, forming a Bounded Field around her. From thin air, two confetti poppers suddenly materialised over Lily's head, held suspended midair by her telekinesis. She broke into a wide smile.

"Well then, it's time for...... Lily's Happy Exciting War Explanation!"

The confetti poppers popped, showering the room with multicoloured strips of paper.

"So, simply put: by summoning me, a Heroic Spirit, to this plane of existence, you have declared your intention to participate in the Heaven's Feel ritual, more commonly known as the Holy Grail War. The War is a seven-way battle royale, between seven Master-Servant pairs.

The Master is a magus who has performed the summoning ritual and has made a contract with a Servant. The Servant is a Heroic Spirit, given physical form through the Master's Od and contracted to that Master. The Servant requires the Master's prana to continue living in this world, while the Master requires the Servant's strength to emerge victorious in the battle to come.

For the Heroic Spirits are beings of legends and myths, entities who have surpassed human limits and become something more than human.

Basically, Master are magi, Servants are super-strong Heroic Spirits, and we're now involved in a War where we're supposed to go around killing another 6 pairs of Masters and Servants."

Lily summarised her explanation with that blunt statement, then leaned back into her wheelchair.

"Any questions?"

Frog followed the girl's face firmly with his gaze as she stood up before he sighed again, grinned, and pushed himself into a standing position with his hand. "Damn right you're a child! Look at the mess you made out of yourself, haha!" He streched out, all the while laughing to himself, when... all of a sudden, he realized what she had said.

Frog's grin shifted as his lips formed a gaping 'o'. Did she say... thousands of years? He looked down at the girl, still sniffling and pondered the thought for a while. Her physique was surely that of a very young girl, and she even acted the part, but... there definitely was something much older hiding behind the delicate child's skin. Now that he really thought about it while grazing her with his greyish eyes, he could see it. She was not a child.

Frog's awed trance continued just for a few more seconds before he shook his jead lightly, deciding to keep the question to himself, rather than impose it on the girl. His trademark grin danced across his face once more as he let the girl continue her speech. "Oh, so there are six other Servants? And all of them must have Master too, don't they?" The boy let out a laugh. "Excellent! Isn't that just excellent? We have six others to compete against! And just listen to the Servant titles! Saber... Archer... Lancer... then you, Caster... Assassin, Berserker and Rider! Most wonderful! But we will be the victors, naturally, so don't worry. Whatever the game is all about, we'll beat all of them!" He paused for a while to let his brain process all of the new information. He was going to have to write this all down in his notebook! This was just too good!

In his enthusiasm, however, Frog disregarded the presence of his Servant, and when she spoke up again, he confusedly shifted his head down to face her. She was definitely still shaken, but she had a smile on her face. Just like he thought, she was as polite and sweet as polite and sweet goes. Of course, it mattered not how sweet someone was. She had to be competent too. If just a little blood shook her up this much, then... Regardless, Frog crossed his hands on his chest, all high and mighty in the small room, and grinned at the girl. "Of course. We can get you to a bathroom. I'll need to wash my hand too, heheh." He raised his bloodied hands in front of himself. "I dunno how hard it is to get the blood off your skin, tho. I never had this much, haha! And don't worry about your clothes we'll get them fixed when we get back to my place. There's bound to be a place there somewhere where we could wash your dress, I'll just have to check."

Natalie

"As a Saber, I of course wield a sword." Natalie said.

She then held out her hands and concentrated, pulling her weapons from oblivion. She first held out her right hand.

"This sword is my Blade of Reason, it is sharper than the sharpest of human weapons but may be shattered easily." She said, she then held out her other hand, "And this is my Blade of the Soul. It is entirely unbreakable but extremely dull. I don't have the strongest parameters, especially for my class, and instead rely on precision to win. That should cover the important stuff. Healing magic isn't the most useful for me, but will be very helpful if we encounter one of the faster foes like Assassin or Lancer."

Natalie lowered her hands and allowed her weapons to fade away once more. She was certain she and her Master stood a very good chance of winning this war so long as they carefully chose their battles.

Nodding her head, Illiana watched with some fascination as Natalie's blades vanished. "What will you know about the other Servants when we encounter them?" she asked, uncertain of what she should be looking for. "I assume they would be able to sense you as well, right?" Sighing, Illiana stood up, stretching her limbs out as she did. "I guess the only other thing I'm curious about is when all of this is going to start. Do you know, Natalie?"

"I'm efficient... deadly. I do not like to toy with those I hunt because in my life... I didn't have the time to do so. If I let them live... they would do irreversible damage to everything around them. As such, I am not a big fan of that approach. I'd rather get this war over and done with out of the way. However... I cannot stop you from employing the methods you desire while I apply my own." The blue haired woman said still flicking her lighter. She took a deep breath and leaned back once more, her eyes still firmly shut.

"As for my wish..." she paused for a moment. As if she was pondering what to say... or was it an expression of pain? It was hard to tell in the darkness. It was such a short flash of an actual emotion on her face that it was barely recognizable before it vanished. "I'd undo something I never wanted to happen."

She breathed deeply "Anyway... Master..." she said still disdain lingering on that title. "Shall we win this war already?"

Onyx

"Well I didn't mean to leave them alive, I just meant to take our time." Onyx said, "You can still do whatever you like, just hold off on killing things until I ask you to, okay? I have every intention of making sure everyone dies shortly, I just don't want them to die too shortly. I have been waiting my whole life for this after all."

Onyx didn't mind all too much if Archer insisted on simply killing everyone as quick as possible, but she was very much hoping for a chance to savor her moment of glory.

"Anyways, let me go gather my things and buy a plane ticket. I assume you have some way of making yourself inconspicuous during the trip to Japan?" She asked, making her way towards the stairs but pausing at the doorway to wait for an answer.

Natalie

Natalie couldn't help but feel a little sorry for her Master.

"Illiana, don't you realize? It's already begun." She said solemnly.

Any moment now they could be ambushed by Assassin and killed. illiana likely hadn't even had time to set up familiars to keep watch. Not that those would stop a servant who knew what they were doing.

"Yes they will be able to sense my presence as well, however they will be unable to discern my abilities until they learn my True Name, either by discerning it from my Noble Phantasms or being told." She said, "The same works in reverse, we won't know what they can do unless we puzzle it out or are told. I have knowledge of every Heroic Spirit that could possibly be summoned, but unless they do something obvious to give it away--like transform into a minotaur or something--I'm not going to know right away. You should familiarize with some of the legends we're from so that you can help as well, your eyes might catch something mine wouldn't. So I think we should try to set up base near a library. After all, literally when it comes to me, knowledge is power."

"Oh yes... Planes. I don't think they'd be too happy with me trying to bring firearms onto on of those would they?" The woman quipped. They were very concerned with... security and what not in airports to Vixen's knowledge. She know quite a bit about these times... though not through practical hands on interactions. Though luckily for her... most of her world was very similar. It clicked quickly with her as where she came from... was nearly the same. "But yes... as I am sure you know servants can take a spirit form. I would reason I can as well. So, I can do as such when you are traveling there. This be simpler if I didn't need my weaponry, but I do and it certainly isn't very concealable. So, even though I'd rather just travel in my normal form... it's not realistic." With that her form vanished the chair she was sitting in still sitting in the middle of the circle. She followed after the woman that was her master.

"Let's get this over with."

Holding a hand out to help Natalie up, Illiana shook her head in affirmation. "Alright, let's go to the library. I think I saw one on the way here," she agreed, hoping that there she would be able to learn more about the War that she found herself apart of. "Natalie, what do you know about this war. Like," she blushed, unable to think of a way to clarify her question, "what's the history behind it?"

Onyx

The journey to Seigishi was hardly a short one, Britain wasn't exactly near Japan after all, but it felt plenty short for Onyx as she slept through most of it. Her plane landed late in the afternoon and she was settled into a lavish hotel with a good view of the city by the evening. She spent some time placing up magical barriers and sending out some familiars to keep watch. Despite getting plenty of rest on the flight, she was still tired from summoning Archer the previous afternoon. Or was it earlier in the morning? Time zones always managed to confuse her.

"Archer, the summoning took a lot out of me, I'm going to get some more rest." She said groggily, "Feel free to rest yourself, I doubt we'll be attacked right now. But also feel free to go and scout for other Servants and Masters, though don't reveal yourself just yet. I'm sure you don't mind that I could care less which you choose. Just wake me in the morning so we can go take out one of our weaker foes."

She yawned and lied down in the soft queen size bed not even bothering to listen for whether Archer left the premises or not.

Luckily for Vixen, other than her blue hair, she didn't really stick out too much. On top of this she was a master of not being seen. She had gone on undetected for years in her own time, years and years of this. She was the hunter of beasts... and many beasts that mascaraed as humans. These Urban environments, she was used to treating them as Urban Jungles, the forest of metal and stone. She was the Vixen of the Forest and of the City. The elusive predator that many were warned about, but almost none saw. However, if one such as her was summoned to this affair... surely others that were just as powerful were as well. She couldn't expect this to be easy despite her strengths and underestimating the others... would be a mistake. Even if she was sure of the victory in her grasp, it is those that assumed victory was theirs... that saw it slip from their grasp. It was never becoming to think you had one, until you did win and it sat within your own hands.

She would eventually set out on her own and survey the land, but for now she commenced with her gear check. She took apart all of her guns and looked to make sure nothing was wrong with nay of them or if there was any damage. Of course... there wasn't, but She had to make sure. She checked at least 7 to 8 different pockets for their respective hidden knives finding each and every one of them in their place. And lastly she checked her bullets and ammo supply. There was loads of it. And some of them, glowed faintly. Some light blue, others a pale green. some a soft violet, and others... a brilliant cerulean. She counted them quickly and tallied the number of each she had and how many total she had left to create new ones with. She did it quickly and with great efficiency. She had work to do and wanted to get this check over with.

She accidentally knocked her revolver off the table in her haste though. The loud crash of something metal hitting the floor permeated the otherwise quiet room. Oops. Hopefully wouldn't happen again. She was nearly ready to set out before doing one last check over her gear.

Siegfried

The magus was preparing to return home for the night when he felt an impulse, transmitted from a rune he had just completed drawing. PINGPINGPingPingpingpingpingpingpingping. Ten runes away, some sort of echo of magecraft. It was. . . southeast? of where he was. It was difficult to tell; the runes were very simple in structure, and getting the blasted things to transmit between one another had been difficult enough. Hm. That's strange. . . I had supposed that if any other magi were prepared, they would be north or west, into the less densely populated areas and away from prying eyes. Indeed, Siegfried himself had traveled a significant distance in the direction and had planned on obtaining a small dwelling once he submitted his findings to the Mage's Association. Perhaps I can subdue whoever this is quickly. He immediately turned about and set himself toward the rune that seemed to have signalled him. He was on foot; he had very little disposable income at the moment, and did not trust the silent beast following him to carry him any great distance - unless it was in shreds, within Ashnard's stomach.

"Your desire may be granted sooner than I expected. Magecraft, almost directly southeast. Do try to attack the Servant, if there is one. I have plans for the magus."

Ashnard

The Beast instantly popped into existence right in front of his Master. The only words he really understood was attack and servant. His bloodlust cut off the rest of the unintelligible white noise. It leapt forth bounding into a wall and knocking out parts of the structure with it's ugly claws. The inhuman strength caused damage to the structure, but not in a way that would cause it to collapse. He leapt from building to building tearing his claws into the side to grip and then push off to gain more momentum. Stone and siding clattered against the ground as he went leaving his master far behind due to his great speed. Thoughts of tearing something limb from limb enters his mind, the feel of blood on his fur and skin.

It was so tantalizing... so strong, so powerful. He wanted to feel the warm blood roll down his face and taste the flesh of a Human or servant. He would devour them in ecstasy. He speeded towards his goal driven by the lust for the blood, the desire to soak in the life essence of another being. He would feast on the bones of his foes. He would tear rend and rip out their organs and taste their sweet erotic flavors. The forbidden game... humans. Now that he wasn't one he could dine on them all he liked. The Most Dangerous game he now hunted. All he left Siegfried to follow was a path of rubble from the buildings. It was not intentional, he cared not if his Master even showed up to this hunt. It be better if he didn't, cause Ashnard just might dine on him too.
