SurrealBeetle
Well, this is the first time I'm posting a topic, so sorry if this is somehow in the wrong place or something, I'm new here. So, right now I'm traveling with Aya and in the Team Meteor base right before fighting Eclipse and the other guy. All throughout this little "field trip," everyone, even the fucking grunts have pokemon at a higher than mine. As I write this, my Pokemon squad consists of Lv60 Arcanine, Lv59 Sharpedo, Lv59 Beartic, Lv60 Ampharos, Lv59 Torterra, and a Lv50 Gardevoir (originally there was a meowstic in her place but Gardevoir has a higher special attack stat plus the fairy typing). I have already beaten Samson (otherwise how would i have gotten here?) by using a Lv57 Sharpedo with bounce and speedboost. To be honest I wouldn't have beaten Samson if I hadn't crit his level 70 Conkelldurr (fucking misspelled that, and jesus christ man, that fucking level was impossible) with a powerful on the whammo. The main problem is, I don't know how i got so underleveled. I fought every trainer I saw. Is it possible I missed some big event? Also whats the level cap now? Is it 70? Because everyone's pokemon, even Aya's, are fucking higher level than mine, and I used to always be close to the level cap. always. Is it possible I fucked myself by giving my Sharpedo and Gardevoir the Exp. Share and thus my Pokemon didn't level up as they were supposed to? I have no idea how I got to this point and I would really appreciated if anyone could help me out by telling where to grind so im back up to where i should be by now. Thanks in advanced. BlackMage
if you want to quickly lvl up, there's a circus clown in the circus. speak to him and he will battle you continously...i leveled up pretty quickly this way. also the level cap is 70, yes. Fumble
Since you're traveling with Aya, you can just grind on the wild Pokemon and let Aya heal you, no? However, if you've gotten past that part, go battle the Clown for easier leveling up.

SurrealBeetle
I'll try to grind then. Is there some way to speed up pokemon reborn that way i can tolerate grinding or no? What level am I supposed to be by now before fighting eclipse? Close to Lv70?

SurrealBeetle
Cheat Engine? Also, is there a reason why when I fight some pretty high leveled pokemon with an underleveled pokemon i get fucked somehow and only receive like 2000-3000 exp? I though since the gap in levels (fighting a 70 with a 57) would shell out some major exp. Was I jipped or is it supposed to be this way? SkyRunner
If I recall correctly, Aster and Eclipse's team is around Level 67. By the sounds of it, you're with Aya already. She won't let you return to Agate Circus, because of how much she likes Hardy the problem up at Labradorra. Just grind against wild Pokémon. SurrealBeetle
Yea, I'm with Aya already. God Dammit.... So the plan is to grind to level 65+? Can anyone here tell me how many pokemon their team has. Last time i fought them (i fought them like 3 times already) -they somehow had 8 pokemon-, which i find bullshit. electivire... luna tone and solrock, milotic.... magmortar, golurk... i can't remember anymore. wait thats 6.... shit. It did not feel like 6 pokemon. i must be losing my mind ;-;
SkyRunner
Yeah, six. You can download Cheat Engine online. With it, you can speed up Reborn for grinding. And other stuff. The community generally opposes the use of Cheat Engine for the other stuff, so don't post to ask about how to use CE. SurrealBeetle
im not gonna download it then. I just got here, i dont wanna be shunned already. Also can anyone explain the exp thing? Cheat Engine? Also, is there a reason why when I fight some pretty high leveled pokemon with an underleveled pokemon i get fucked somehow and only receive like 2000-3000 exp? Odybld
Aster and Eclipse have Electi and Magmo, Rhyperior and Milotic, Golurk Aromatisse Vespiqueen and Vileplume, Luna and Sol. 10, five for each. We really need to have a talk about the E15 nerfed level curve which has results like that.
SurrealBeetle
OMFG I KNEW IT I FUCKING-coughs- I need to calm down. as i mentioned before, i knew there was some bullshit involved. i fucking knew it. i am so disappointed that i forgot. but yea, they had shit tons of pokes. What usually ends up happening is that i die first, then i just watch aya as she tries to win and just dies. Also what does that mean, nerfed level curve? i thought it meant they wouldnt be as hard, not that i cant level up as fast. also does anyone have an answer to my exp problem? Cheat Engine? Also, is there a reason why when I fight some pretty high leveled pokemon with an underleveled pokemon i get fucked somehow and only receive like 2000-3000 exp? SkyRunner
The level curve was lowered between Noel and Charlotte, I think.
SurrealBeetle
I heard that the level curve was lowered, but what does that imply? Edited August 22, 2015 by Migueftw
Luna
well it is kind of easy to grind wild pokemons around the are as every battle you have is a double battle with aya and you heal up after every battle. the caves are filled with high level graveler. just watch out for double EQ as the cave will collapse if 2 EQ are used. so grinding your sharpedo, beartic and torterra would not be a problem. do not over grind as this can make you over leveled and if you do not have common candies, i wish u good luck. you can also catch these high levels wild pokemon and train them. In reborn it is always good to have a back up team so u can spread out the exp gained and have more coverage against specific gyms or battles. I would train all your pokemons to around 65-68. SurrealBeetle
I just beat them. Gardevoir finally put in some work since she can actually survive a blizzard/scald. I must now continue foward. also can someone answer this Cheat Engine? Also, is there a reason why when I fight some pretty high leveled pokemon with an underleveled pokemon i get fucked somehow and only receive like 2000-3000 exp? It means that the levels of trainers have been lowered a bit to lessen the grinding needed or to make the game a bit easier.
