MikoLAqualiChromatique
Ok, so the new E15 is now out and so, a user told that if a egg contain a shiny pokemon, the egg would have a little start in the corner ! Is it right or not ?
Darvan Korematsu
I believe so if I remember correctly.
Simon
When I used the Public Release version to hatch, the star actually appeared on the egg even though the feature was supposedly fixed due to it not being intended. I'm not sure if it'll work for others however so you could try it to either validate or nullify my statement. edit: dat 1900 post tho
MikoLAqualiChromatique
Someone have a screen of a shiny egg so ? I would like to breed for a shiny Stunk ( if my internet want to CORRECTLY download the game D': )
Simon
Hm, I guess the option was really removed in the Public Release. I hatched a Shiny Chimchar just now without the star appearing.

Imperial
The star was in E15 community release only, it has been removed for the public release

Imperial
If you really want you can just get the community release, except that the only difference is some bugs fixed

MikoLAqualiChromatique
I just have to reset on the Community release, and then, i go back to the Public release ?
bepe
Just do your breeding in the community release so you can see the star, and go back to the public for anything else to avoid bugs.
Global Mods Ice Cream Sand Witch Posted August 27, 2015 Global Mods Share Posted August 27, 2015 How does the game know if the egg will be shiny or not? o . o Isn't it not determined until it hatches, just like nature? Or does that just apply to event Pokemon not being determined until you get/catch them?
Administrators Amethyst Posted August 28, 2015 Administrators Share Posted August 28, 2015 In both main series games and Reborn, a Pokemon's characteristics are determined as soon as you're given the egg. The star being on eggs was a bug in the first place.
