Guest Odinson
Hello there fair people of reborn, first of all excuse my lack of forum skills as I'm new and I've never used a forum before (yes I'm serious) and have no idea how you people make your posts look so nice with attachments and stuff. Anyways, A few days ago I've finished the ep15 of Reborn and by some luck for the first time ever in pokemon I started breeding. After a few very painful session (may include intensive crying, cursing and existantial crysis) I've managed to breed myself a 6IV charmander! After an even more painful session I managed to breed a 5 IV shiny charmander (plus 4 more perfect charmender what luck) and a 5IV mareep and a horsea. Now I have a problem, I don't know whom I should pick to put in my new squad! Here is info on the team so far: Fast Special Sweeper: Bulky Special Sweeper/Setup Twin Tank: Sniper-CritDra: Physically Defensive/Offensive Pressure: Edit764: I've exceeded my attachment capacity on this post I will continue down below Edited September 2, 2015 by Odinson
Lostelle
I suggest using an Ability Capsule and changing Ampharos' ability to Static; much more useful considering only I think 4 Pokémon or so have the opposite ability to make yours useful. Guest Odinson
Ampharos' ability plus allows me to use Magnetic Flux which raises both defenses by 1 stage of the allies with minus or plus including the user itself, works in singles
Lostelle
I didn't know that. My bad.
laggless01
Well, you have three special attackers, so let's buff you a bit on the physical side, no?Metagross is pretty great, but you can't breed it good IVs because it's genderless (unless your Ditto is amazing). This thing can go multiple ways.Flygon, if raised properly from Trapinch, gets EQ, Rock Slide, Dragon Claw and Crunch (I'm not sure if Outrage can be bred on it). It's not as strong as Archeops, but it can take some more hits and has a decent ability.Weavile can't be gotten yet, but you can breed Sneasel with Icicle Crash (Cubchoo-line). No Knock Off, though.Like Sneasel, you can get Gligar, but can't evolve it yet.Excadrill could make a powerful mon, but you don't have the sand to boost its speed...I'm not sure if you can still get it non-limited, though.Heracross isn't too shabby, either, although I'm not sure if it still holds up at this point.Avalugg is perhaps good if you want to tank stuff physically, so is Steelix.Donphan with Endeavour/Ice Shard/EQ can be funny against bosses and has some decent use normally, I think.Mamoswine is said to be pretty nice. EQ/Icicle Crash/Ice Shard/(something rocky?) is quite strong.Medicham with Pure Power might put in work, but Azumarril certainly does. Azu's a monster. Of course, Lucario is available, and it's pretty nice. Mienshao can also be gotten, can get physical or special.DD Tyrantrum can be awoken from a fossil, but I never used it myself, like quite some of the other things above. If you want, you can go for Gallade, although its subpar speed might be a hindrance.Head Smash Rock Head Aggron could do massive damage with a Choice Scarf, but for the rest it might have become less of use. Some fun special attackers, though:Sheer Force Nidoking learns Earth Power, and you get Sludge Wave. Tbolt and Ice Beam can only be bred by going back episodes, sadly...Combined with your Charizard, Chlorophyll Exeggutor could be an interesting idea. That is what comes to my mind atm. There's a lot of choice, so since you have only three members, your team can go in a lot of ways.
Guest Odinson
Well, you have three special attackers, so let's buff you a bit on the physical side, no? Ah yes I have been training/breeding a hippo in between edits, after checking my options I wanted 3 special and 3 physical oriented pokemon with 1 physically defensive and 1 specially defensive pokemon in my party. Hippo is so defensive and HP bulky, I was able to train its attack to some point so it is quite a threat with EQ and Slack off. Weavile can't be gotten yet, but you can breed Sneasel with Icicle Crash (Cubchoo-line). No Knock Off, though. OH BOY SNEASEL IS RELEASED? I FRICKIN LOVE WEAVILE. Dark/Ice pretty good for my team too its very diverse. Thank you! Edit1: Oh wow, after I get sneasel I'll have at least 1 pokemon compatible with every weather. Hmmmmm all dem weathers. Except for stupid 4th gen mist which hates everyone! That is a nice looking team. If you still need more physical Heracross is serving me very well at the end of 15 (although I clearly didn't use it against Ciel)!
Guest Odinson
Except for stupid 4th gen mist which hates everyone! That is a nice looking team. If you still need more physical Heracross is serving me very well at the end of 15 (although I clearly didn't use it against Ciel)! Lately I have developed a distaste for heracross (perhaps the GIANT FOREST MAZE OF DOOM is the cause of that), I took heracross over pinsir because I thought you know "well yea STAB CloseCombat gg for sure". But I actually like pinsir a lot sooo, I regret that decision compeletly and heracros is sitting in the PC Box named "GARBAGE". Of course, Lucario is available, and it's pretty nice. I went through your comment again I have nothing as a fairy killer so if I can, I'll get lucario or perhaps Toxicroak on the team. By the way update on the team, After intensive puzzle work I managed to get SOLOSIS, HARD BODY BABY. So I'm thinking of running a rotation team centered around Trick Room Reuniclis also I have the Toxic orb so Ursaring is back in the picture Rotation trick room : Hard Body (Reunuclis) Ursaring (STAB Toxic Orb boosted, Guts boosted facade under Trick Room + Shadow Claw and Hammer Arm(-speed) for good measure, gg) Amber Rose + Hippo (on both primary and rotation teams since they benefit from Trick Room) Thank you all for your contributions, I usually play showdown competitive but the sets in reborn are murder I have no moves to implement my own niche sets (except for Flux Ampharos) so your help is much appericiated Edited August 31, 2015 by Odinson

Simon
Looks soild. Wish you had Poison Jab/Dig over Brick Break, but either way it is a really good looking Sneasal. Also, instead of using attachments, you could use http://prnt.sc/ to upload your screenshots and then drag the image into the Reply section to add as many as you want to. Guest Odinson
Looks soild. Wish you had Poison Jab/Dig over Brick Break, but either way it is a really good looking Sneasel. Poison Jab would be lovely however it is not in Weavile's egg groups and I do not believe we have access to it as a TM yet. Also, instead of using attachments, you could use http://prnt.sc/ to upload your screenshots and then drag the image into the Reply section to add as many as you want to. I tried but unfortunately it didn't work, I get an error message saying "We do not allow that kind of image extender in this community" or something like that. Shame, it looked good too. Vinny
omg that's pretty darn good Sneasel give ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ Although based on what you mentioned, I suppose Sneasel wouldn't work on a Trick Room team xD And considering that the Life Orb is somewhat available in Reborn, I think you should change Sneasel's ability to Keen Eye. At least your Icicle Crashes won't miss :T I also wanted to suggest Bisharp, but you already have a pokémon 4x weak to fighting, so that's a no-no. Still, you could keep one in a rotation. It'd be pretty neat to handle some fairies, like Lucario. Oh well, your team is looking pretty solid, so good job mate /o/ ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ give sneasel tho ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ

I thought it only PREVENT from accuracy drops. The Trick Room Team is in Rotation and consists of Reuniclis and Ursaring for now + AmberRose and Hippowdon from the main team. Wolverine is no good in TR I know Hey hey hey Vinny I know how much you like Weavile, (YAAAS WEAVILE) so if Reborn adds a trading system there is a 6 IV Sneasel in my box with your name on it I just kept this one 'coz it's shiny :3 PS: I have 4 IV shinies of both genders as well if you want one of them :3 and while on the subject, shiny sneasels have their gender sprite messed up, female shinies have longer ears than males, reverse of normal sprites. Vinny
Wait wait wait for a hot minute, does keen eye actually increase my accuracy? I thought it only PREVENT from accuracy drops. Oops. You are right, I thought wrong :T Still, Keen Eye ignores the opponents evasion hax, so that's cool too. Oh well, it's only so you have Pressure on Weavile later~ and while on the subject, shiny sneasels have their gender sprite messed up, female shinies have longer ears than males, reverse of normal sprites. Will check, thanks~
