jakey2saucey06
I know this seems like a dumb question but, looking around the forums I see people showcasing teams with more than 6 pokemon... This lead me to think this XD. Welp, answer back!
Solarance
No, you can't. The other Pokemon are rotational that are in the box.
Odybld
You can't have them all together on you, but you'll appreciate having a large number of options and also multiple Pokemon with certain similarities to focus on a gym leader's team weakness. This. People just rotate which members are in their party at certain times. While this isn't required it is a helpful tactic in my opinion. luccaconde
And then you ask yourself... why? Because we need to be prepared.. Reborn can be rly hard if you are with only 6 pokes Yeah.. Bye Bye :

TheGamedawg
As an additional note rotating a couple team members for maybe a team of 9 or so is actually pretty recommended for Reborn, since it is very difficult.
trippineverywhere
It's great to have all 18 types, whether it be in Pokemon or Moves. Plus, you have your HM Slaves and other Pokemon's abilities that benefit you greatly. (Pickup.)
leocain
And as good it is that Ame made the HMs forgettable, if you have to make one team member forget attacks they learn by levelling up or breeding, you are going to be sorry.
Masquerain
You can always relearn said attacks though. At least level-up ones. Even so, if you really need to teach a HM, best forget a move you taught by TM
