Damage
So E15 brought about a bunch of new content, after a playthrough, if you've done enough before you'll notice new dialogue in some fun spots that add more to what's actually happening. I'm at Noel's battle and since I have a fire mono obviously the field is going up in flames. After the match, everyone mocks how I set the field on fire to win and Noel even says "Nomos says scorched earth doesn't affect the overworld, whatever that means". Has anyone else found anything funny or interesting.
Global Mods Ice Cream Sand Witch Posted September 15, 2015 Global Mods Share Posted September 15, 2015 Wow, I didn't even know the game could read what kind of tactics you used in a battle outside of the battle itself o . o
Fumble
Gossip Gardevoir has some dialogue that changes dependong on if you're a gang member and/or a Police Man before going to Vanhanen Castle, too, I think.
Damage
Yeah I noticed that. I've never made it to Vanahan without joining a gang. Wish I did but I needed Ponyta for the mono-run. I'm curious what she says if you don't join a gang.
InnocentSerenity
Whoa, I didn't know the game would read field changes afterwards. That's pretty cool. I wonder what other dialogue changes there are. Edited September 15, 2015 by InnocentBoy
Global Mods Ice Cream Sand Witch Posted September 15, 2015 Global Mods Share Posted September 15, 2015 (edited) @gangs: I didn't join the gang until the game required it, and GG just didn't mention gangs at all. Also this is widely known, but winning or losing to Solaris at Pyrous Mountain changes some dialogue for an E15 scene. Commander
Whoa, I didn't know the game would read field changes afterwards. That's pretty cool. I wonder what other dialogue changes there are. I didn't realize Ame did that, but I suppose it's something interesting. I know there's been quite a few dialogue changes between the versions of the game. One example off the top of my head is the Kiki Lecture. In previous versions, she used a jar of rocks and sand to demonstrate fullness of the jar. It'd take forever just to list every set of dialogue that's been changed over the different versions. I do know that selecting different options changes what characters say about a few scenarios. IIRC, not rescuing all of the Police before Cradbury will result in the cop not appearing right away (though I do think he shows up still if you rescue all the cops after the event...though I haven't tested it). I think gender may also do something in a couple rare situations though I can't remember off the top of my head.
Global Mods Ice Cream Sand Witch Posted September 15, 2015 Global Mods Share Posted September 15, 2015 (edited) I think gender may also do something in a couple rare situations though I can't remember off the top of my head. The most recent egg thief calls you a lady if you play as female. Apparently this accidentally happens with all genders, but Ame said he's only supposed to flirt with females. Also if you play as non-binary, it changes some of Cain's dialogue when Adrienn explains pronouns. mde2001
Yeah, the game can read field effect changes. That is how the Fennekin event works. I never knew that Noel mocked us for fire field. That's really cool. I'll have a bit of free time so I'll look through for more later.
Masquerain
Wow that field dialogue sounds quite cool. I did not know that at all o_O Maybe because I never destroy fields, but that certainly is cool
Jaromir
Yeah, I just beat Noel recently in my new playthrough. I finished the battle with a fire field on , and started to feel bad when they mentioned Charlotte.
RaymondNotRay
Shame on us for burning the "sacred" grounds. Now I'm wondering if there are other hidden texts, based on field effect alteration.
