Hey.

I haven't played all that much of either Pokemon reborn nor any of the 6th gen games. In pokemon reborn I just beat Aya, the poison type gym leader and now I want to fill up my Dragon type slot for my team. I looked up all dragon types and found Tyrantrum and maaaan, that pokemon looks dope af. I really want to catch that one, is it in the game at all?

I also wondered if anyone has any tips on good pokemons to catch in this game I'm currently running:

Emboar

Kingler

Cricketune

Donphant

Scrafty

Ampharos

Subteam:

Pidgeot

Seismitoad

Hypno

and Swirlix?! (Feels like this one sux)

you can get tyrunt in Spinel town by defeating meteor grunts in museum or later in Agate circus or 7th street by completing a side quest

so earliest dragon you can get is noibat (which takes a lot of time to evolve) and skrelp

Tyrantrum is one of the best looking dragon and 6 gen pokemon hands down yeah.

I never used him really though even in 6 gen as I generally find training dragon types annoying.

Spinel museum quest should be done ASAP when you get to the town though, because it can become inaccessible after a major event.

Guys the museum quest gives you one of the gen 5 fossils (tirtuga/archen) not gen 6. To get the Jaw fossil you need to have a Helix fossil in your items and show it to the Order of the Helix in the 7th street! That's after beating Radommus who is the 7th gym leader I think.

Now for other team suggestions:

Ditch Kriketune. I know it is strong early game but at this point the only thing it can do is Perish Song the last pokemon of a trainer, or used in battles like the Garchomp!

You can get a Growlithe from one of the policemen, but this is not the pokemon you are looking for since you got Emboar! But you can breed it and trade its egg with the same policeman to get a Mystery Egg which contains one of 18 different pokemons. Most of them are not accessible anywhere else in this release or are catchable very late into the game.

Since most of your team is physical you might need a good special attacker. Mismagius, Dragalge and Nidoqueen/king are all good special attackers that give your team more type diversity!

Also many think that Meganium is one of the worst starters but it actually can fit in your team! It is really bulky and can support your team with Light Screen and Reflect. Furthermore you can go for the Grass Pledge/Fire Pledge combo with your Emboar which I found really useful in my last playthrough.

Also Crawdaunt has by far better movepool than Kingler especially if you can breed it Dragon Dance and Superpower. And another similar physical water mon is Barbaracle that has one of the best set up move in the form of Shell Smash!

well you cant get jaw fossil from spinel museum event. spinel museum event is for cover/plume fossil. you can trade your pidgeot at 7th street for the jaw fossil. but first you will need to have a helix fossil. 7th street is unlocked once you complete the 8th gym and continue with the story. you can get helix fossil by mining shiny glowing rock using the mining kit.

You can get the mining kit from the beneath the grand stairway. just flow my screen shots:

Enter the grand stairway cave by going down the ladder.

from here move left and than up(follow the arrows)

Rock smash the rock which is circled

continue to the next room and talk to the man which is circled

once you have the mining kit you can start mining for the helix fossil. do note that if you bring a dome fossil to the helix cultist they will repel you away cause they hate dome fossil so if you find a dome fossil just put it on a pokemon before visiting the cultist which are at 7th street. the screen shot of the place is below.talk to the guy which i circled and he would ask for tree slayer or something just bring a farfatche'd with cut and he will offer you the sail or jaw fossil and after that if you bring a pidgeot he will offer you a sail or a jaw fossil. the pokemon you bring will be removed from you party once you take the fossil it is like a trade you trade the pokemon for the fossil. so u can get both gen 6 fossil by just bringing farfatche'd and pidgeot. Jaw fossil is tyrunt and sail fossil is amaura.

A side note: helix fossil and all the other fossil and awesome stuff a mining rock can give are obtain by random luck so i would save infront of the shiny and soft reset until you get the item you want.
