Phazer
Yah I know it says Diamond, but Diamonds are cool, so not putting Iron Fist. K.. yeah, main pokemon Gurdurr and Infernape. Gurdurr will be explained later on. Next the scout, take down all the almost-dead and the offending scouts. Special Attacker sweeper Lucario is next in my team, cuz sexy pro. Now the sexy Gallade that can catch special attacks and send back some punishment. Next sweepa, the troll, BRELOOOOOOOM. Armed with spore, can get some 1 man sweeping done easily. Infernape (M) @ Focus Sash Trait: Iron Fist EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def) - Fire Punch - Earthquake / U-turn - Mach Punch - Hidden Power [ice] Mr. Anti-lead and late game sweeper, can take down a lot of other sweepers in the game with his move pool of 14 out of 17 types. Fire Punch for main stab and Mach for priority. U-turn to get out of trouble and finish off kills, or EQ for more coverage. HP Ice for random trump against dragons and flyings. Cuzpro (Gurdurr) (F) @ Eviolite Trait: Iron Fist EVs: 128 HP / 128 Def / 252 SDef Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk) - Bulk Up - Payback - Mach Punch - Drain Punch Dis guy can wall any physical monster, any time. Keep the Bulk Up and Drain going in rotation, and Payback against phychics or ones that resist. Mach Punch for priority. Used over Conkeldurr for a change in battle, because originality is cool. The cool thing here though is that Gurdurr is a 2nd evo, so that means: EVIOLITEEEEE. Boosting that crazy physical wallingness by far. Mienshao (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Regenerator EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Stone Edge - Hi Jump Kick - U-turn - Fake Out Do you remember this guy from my regenerator team? Well if you don't you wouldn't know that he can be an absolute beast as a scout as to a sweeper. He can Fake for that extra damage, and U-turn out. Yes, I know a scout is usually a protect/turn kind of thing but Mienshao can Fake for a chance at the foe to bring out another poke to counter. Then you can turn out for a check/counter. Hi Jump Kick for main stab and mega overkill purpose. Stone Edge for coverage. Lucario (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Inner Focus EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Aura Sphere - Shadow Ball - Calm Mind - ExtremeSpeed My first special sweeper and my last one. D: Well this is a hyper physical offensive, so I don't need much special attackers or walls. Calm Mind for boosting up special attack and speed for sweeping. Aura Sphere for main stab and hitting things with evasion items or moves. Shadow Ball for coverage, and Extremespeed for +2 priority. Gallade (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Steadfast EVs: 128 Atk / 252 Def / 128 SDef Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Shadow Sneak - Psycho Cut - Ice Punch - Bulk Up Yayayaya a phychic type. Like many conkells and other Gallades, this is the standard boost and priority. Bulk to bring up low defense and decent attack with Ice Punch and Shadow Sneak for coverage. Phycho Cut for main stab and more coverage. Shadow Sneak is mainly for priority sweeping. Breloom (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Technician EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Spore - Seed Bomb - Substitute - Mach Punch Here da loom capable of Sporing with it's better than decent speed, and Sub for blocking a hit while Sporing again. Seed Bomb for main stab and dealing damage to a sleeping foe, and Mach to finish jobs that Seed Bomb can't. IMPORT Infernape (M) @ Focus Sash Trait: Iron Fist EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def) - Fire Punch - Earthquake - Mach Punch - Hidden Power [ice] Cuzpro (Gurdurr) (F) @ Eviolite Trait: Iron Fist EVs: 128 HP / 128 Def / 252 SDef Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk) - Bulk Up - Payback - Mach Punch - Drain Punch Mienshao (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Regenerator EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Stone Edge - Hi Jump Kick - U-turn - Fake Out Lucario (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Inner Focus EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Aura Sphere - Shadow Ball - Calm Mind - ExtremeSpeed Gallade (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Steadfast EVs: 128 Atk / 252 Def / 128 SDef Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Shadow Sneak - Psycho Cut - Ice Punch - Bulk Up Breloom (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Technician EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Spore - Seed Bomb - Substitute - Mach Punch
Administrators Amethyst Posted January 24, 2012 Administrators Share Posted January 24, 2012 Not bad offensively, although Iron Fist isn't the greatest ability... How do you deal with Flying/Psychic types though? You only have one resist (as in, not weak) each, and Gallade only has weak Shadow Sneak. Neo
What's going to stop a Pokemon like Slowbro from coming in, and fucking you up?
Zen
Like Ame said, offensive is decent. Hmm, but ShadowLure with a Scarf could eat up your team if you aren't careful. As much as gurdurr has good defenses with Eviolite, Overheat from a Modest chandelure's still nothing to sneeze at. The same chandelure would also kill lucario, breloom, and possibly even gallade (based on your EV's, the SDef seems lower).
TripleRhu
Your team really needs some synergy ._. Entry hazards and Tornadus will completely wreck your team, whether you have some priority moves or not.
Yuki
Why Extremespeed over Vacuum Wave, since it's a special sweeper? And for referrence, Extremespeed is +2 priority, not +3. The problem with this team is you have no way to kill anything that could wall you, and it doesn't help that you lack some sort of toxicstall/burnbitch. Or anything faster, really. And then, A Skarmory would have tons of fun here, since your only special attacker can still only hit it neutrally, and your fire type physical attacker is boasting fire punch over something stronger like flare blitz. Slowbro sees no problems Sand teams especially find this easy-peasy lemon-squeezy
Phazer
Slowbro can be taken out by Loom, Lucario, Gallade, and possible Gurdurr? I don't think it has the highest special def, and spore/sub/bomb, uhhh... Bulk/Sneak(probaly not), Gurdurr could payback. But because I did this team when I was tired I didn't do much on description, deal Slowbros with U-turn and flying types with Mien and maybe furry fire ape. Might switch Hitmonlee for Mien or Lucy. Phazer
Heartgold: If the tail-biting Shellder is thrown off in a harsh battle, it reverts to being an ordinary Slowpoke. Lol I'd knock of that mofo's tail if I could. xD
Zen
Slowbro has hideous defence, so even your breloom might not be able to kill it with one hit
Phazer
You don't see Spore? . - .
Zen
You don't see Spore? . - . You don't see Lum Berry on slowbro? Almost every time I use slowbro, it's holding a Lum, since most people use Toxic to try and get past its defences.
Phazer
I see lefties on Slowbrows. why not Plus I switched Honchkrow for Slowbro in my new team, works well with an amoonguss+slowbro regen stall. Slowking works terrible with me.
