So I'm a huge fan of the following pokemon, and I'd like some advice getting metagame builds for them if possible. I know they aren't all OU, but these are simply mons that I like. Please include stats to work towards on each, moveset included.

Flygon

Noivern

Camerupt

Tropius

Gardevoir

Cryogonal

Thanks team :)

Welp they largely differ not just in roles and gameplay, but also in tiers, with Flygon, Noivern and Camerupt being mid-tier mons (I am not up-to-date on the last Smogon suspect discussions, but they should all be RU or UU at most IIRC), Gardevoir being firmly in the top tier OU (and an effective one at that, her mega form being one of the dominant special attackers of the tier), Cryogonal seeing respectable usage in NU (or was it RU? My memory plays tricks on me sometimes) and Tropius being... Welp, I honestly cannot think of any kind words to say about Tropius, sorry.

So yeah, some better knowledge of the tier system, some deeper understanding of how the current metagame works and more importantly some more precise info as to what Pokemon you want to use in what team for what tier would be required, before talking about individual builds...

Flygon is used in RU as either a Defog user, a Choice Band/Scarf user, or Offensive LO defog.

Mega Camerupt is a powerful wallbreaker in UU and RU, problem is that it's super slow

Noivern is used in UU, usually as a Life Orb offensive set I think.

Mega Gardevoir, as said above, is one of the best special attackers in OU.

Cryogonal is used in NU and RU as a Rapid Spinner, but it's typing wears it down.

Tropius is ass, sorry but it's true

SInce everyone else has already addressed most of these mons, I'll talk about the one that they both knew nothing about: Tropius. I'll be frank, it's pretty bad. It's speed is terrible and those attacking stats aren't getting it anywhere, so the only real function it serves is something of a bulky SubSeed abuser in FU, which is a subtier of PU, which in turn is a subtier of NU. Basically, it can tank hits from some of the lowest pokemon around.

Gererally, the best set you can mange for it is something like

Tropius @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Harvest
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Leech Seed
- Substitute
- Air Slash
- Protect / Toxic / Giga Drain
This allows it to take hits and heal up tons while slowly whittling away at your foe. It has a lot of weaknesses, however, so be careful with it.

Like I said in the first post, I'm doing this purely for fun. I like building metagame, I'm just asking about some pokemon I've never built for before. These are simply pokemon I like, nothing more. I already have a subseeder Venusaur and Sceptile on my other games, I might go with that for Tropius in this one. Actually some of my favorite movesets are spiker setups for Skarmory/Foretress and ThunderSlash builds for Togekiss.

I know a fair bit about metagame, I won't pretend to be an expert, I really just wanted more opinions.

To the best and also.. Strangest of my teambuilding abilities..

Flygon can run multiple sets, it's up to you whether you would want an offense Flygon or defensive Defog user.

Personal favorite Flygon though:

Flygon @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpAtk / 252 Speed
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Boomburst / Crunch / U-Turn
- Stone Edge / Rock Slide
I've loved Noivern, but since it fell down to UU, I've never really used it anymore.
Noivern @ Focus Sash
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpAtk / 252 Speed
Timid Nature
- Hurricane / Air Slash
- Draco Meteor / Dragon Pulse
- U-Turn
- Flamethrower
All I can really suggest for Camerupt is Mega Camerupt.
Camerupt @ Cameruptite
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 28 HP / 200 Atk / 200 SpAtk / 24 SpDef
Mild Nature
- Earth Power
- Rock Slide
- Lava Plume / Flamethrower / Fire Blast
- Yawn / Protect

Gardevoir is bae, a bit lacking in speed but still very good in OU.

Gardevoir @ Gardevoirite or Life Orb
Ability: Trace
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpAtk / 252 Speed
Timid Nature
- Moonblast / Hyper Voice (only for Mega Gardevoir)
- Psyshock / Psychic
- Will-o-Wisp / Thunder Wave
- Calm Mind / Protect / Trick Room / Hidden Power Fire
Cryogonal.. I've only used in a Reborn playthrough once.
Cryogonal @ Focus Sash / Light Clay
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpAtk / 252 Speed
Timid Nature
- Freeze-Dry / Ice Beam
- Rapid Spin / Recover / Flash Cannon
- Reflect / Light Screen
- Reflect / Light Screen / Explosion / Signal Beam (whether you want more coverage or dual screen use with Light Clay
Good luck with your team-building!

Can't help but notice that you are uggesting Boomburst for Flygon, but not for Noivern :P

I mean, you could go Scarf, but if you like defense, Flybae can work just as well.

Flygon @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 116 Def / 116 SpD / 24 Spe
Careful Nature
- Defog
- Roost
- Earthquake
- U-turn / Toxic / Dragon Tail

Noivern can only be used in UU or above, which is rather unfortunate for it, but it's speed is quite advantageous. Here's a Fast Taunt set that can buy your team some momentum.

Noivern @ Leftovers
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Flamethrower / Air Slash
- Taunt
- Roost

With Camerupt, you don't have to go Mega if you're playing in a lower tier, but if going for OverUsed, MegaRupt is a fantastic wallbreaker and should always Mega Evolved.

Camerupt @ Cameruptite
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 168 HP / 252 SpA / 88 Spe
Modest Nature
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Ancient Power
- Stealth Rock / Will-O-Wisp / Toxic

Gardevoir should always be run Mega using Hyper Voice....unless it shouldn't. Got a problem with Swift Swimmers or Sand Rush Excadrill? Enter TraceScarf 'Voir

Gardevoir @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Trace
EVs: 4 SpD / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moonblast
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball

Cryagonal is primarily used as a diverse rapid spinner option who threatens Ground types trying to set up Rocks, as well as Waters with Freeze-Dry access.

Cryogonal @ NeverMeltIce / Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Freeze-Dry
- Ice Beam / Hidden Power Ground
- Recover
