Corey is always a thorn in my side in any reborn run. At this point your only Psychics are Meowstic, Munna, and a Drowzee if you're lucky enough. Your only ground options are Diggersby Dig (requires going to 37, over the cap), or Torterra (get shrekd) or Marshtomp (death sentence in first 2 gyms). You could also fight poison with poison, but I don't think there's any poison pokes with moves affected by the field. Ultimately it's just hitting him hard, surviving poison or poison entry, and having something take care of the Crobat.

I found out yesterday that Guts Luxray tears through his team, and he is tanky enough to survive a venoshock by crobat, you just have to keep healing him.

UPDATE 6: Smashing some bugs!

Hi guys, welcome back!

So last time Corey was defeated, and Fern told me that something is happening on the Grand Stairway! I guess it's time to check it out.

I come back to Opal Ward and then defeat some trainers on the Opal Bridge, then finally see what's going on: a large hole has appeared right at the center of the Stairway!

Unfortunately, the policemen don't permit to anyone to take a closer look (pff, and i even saved them in Jasper/Beryl. That's how they repay me? :c) so i'll come back later maybe.

I enter for the first time in the richest ward of Reborn, Lapis! Well it's definetly better than all the wards i visited so far (way, WAY better) but it's "ruined" by all the blood spilled by Corey's corpse, situated behind the Gym. With my surprise, i see Victoria and another little girl named Shelly watch pietrified the dead body. The girl seems to know Heather, because she recognises istantly the identity of it. Then suddenly Aster and Eclipse appear.

The two Meteor's Lieutenants confirm the suspect of Corey being their secret agent, just to vanish right after that after some dumb phrases:

Victoria: "No way, Team Meteor was thew one who blew up the Grand Stairway!"

Aster:"Nooo, a Sunkern did it. Of course it was us!"

Laughed at that, i admit lol

Then a strange flying guy appear and take the corpse away, along with the blood. Shelly tells us it's Shade, but don't goes into details with it. victoria suggests to take Shelly in her room situated inside the Gym, now it's obvious that Shelly is acutally the Lapis Ward Gym Leader!

After a small dialogue, Victoria and i head out to investigate the big hole in the stairway, but the Fight types trainer get taken in hostage by TM. I go trough the cave until i find a weird room with a big strange door. The same guy from the Moss Water Factory's facts explain me that the four coloured lines on the door represent four different objects, and that one of them is Heather's ruby ring. The man leaves, leaving me alone with Aster, Eclipse and Victoria, time to smash some Meteors

Avatar and Pignite vs Lunatone and Solrock, paralyzed Solrock while Pignite hit Lunatone with Arm Thrust, Lunatone set up Rock Polish, Solrock failed a move. Avatar hit Solrock with Electro Ball but got hit by it with Rock Slide, Lunatone set up again and Pignite hit Lunatone with Arm Thrust. Avatar got defeated by a Rock Slide launched by Lunatone, wich tanked another Arm Thrust, Solrock got healed

OP and Pignite vs Lunatone and Solrock, confused Lunatone, wich hit itself and got defeated by Pignite. Solrock failed due to paralysis.

OP and Pignite vs Electabuzz and Solrock, Electabuzz got confused by OP and hit himself, while Pignite hit Solrock with a 5 times Arm Thrust with critical hit, Solrock was Down

OP and Pignite vs Electabuzz and Magmar, OP got defeated by an attack of Electabuzz while hitting himself due to a Magmar's Confuse Ray. Pignite hit Magmar with Arm Thrust

Kai and Pignite vs Electabuzz and Magmar, Mach Punch + Arm Thrust defeated Magmar, Electabuzz hit hismelf due to the previous confusion

Kai and Pignite vs Electabuzz, same combination as before and the match ended

The two Meteors leave, while me and Victoria decide to come back to Shelly. The little girl seems to be really traumatized, so i go out to find a doctor who can help her. I bump into a girl right in front of the Psychiatric Hospital, she says strange things, then runs away.

When i enter the building, a little girl that affirms to have an invisible Jirachi called Nostra tells me the identity of the other patients: her name is Anna, and she have a twin brother called Noel (can't wait to battle him and his god dammit Cinccino, more than 30 losses expected) who have a Cleffa's doll named Nomos. I see another girl named Charlotte, with some scars on her body. I also find out who was the girl i met at the entrance, Laura, older sister of Charlotte and a member of Reborn's Elite Four!

Anna tells me that Noel and Charlotte are Gym Leaders, then when i tell her what i'm looking for she become anxious and begs me to not ask for help to the doctor, because he is a bad man who uses Electric pokemons during the therapies to hurt patients and "heal" them.

Speaking of the devil, doctor Sigmund Connal appears. I decide to believe to Anna and don't ask for his help, then Dr. Connal tests me out by making me battle with one of his subordinates

Kai vs Magnemite, 2 Mach Punch and Magnemite was down, while taking a Spark

Avatar vs Slowpoke, one Electro Ball was more than enough

Sassy King vs Elektrik, spammed Rock Tomb until he won

Kai vs Magneton, spammed Mach Punch and tanked one Spark/Electro Ball, Kai won

Connal says that a battle with Noel and Charlotte would not be good for their health, then Anna literally kicks me out after some advices for Shelly.

I give the suggestions to her and she feels suddenly better, so better that she decide to accept the battle request Victoria had originally asked to her. The girl refuses, indicating me as the best candidate for this battle.

On my way to the battlefield, Victoria tries to stop me because she thinks that the loss of a battle could harm Shelly more

Mr. B vs Scraggy, Scraggy hit Mr. B with Chip Away and Hi Jump Kick, then got healed after 2 Sludgebomb. Victoria's pokemon defeated Mr. B with one last Chip Away. It got defeated right after that, due to the damage of 2 more Sludgebomb and the poison damage

OP vs Pignite, Gust inflicted some damage to Pignite, wich responded with Arm Thrust. Then OP failed a Supersonic and got defeated by Roll Out

Avatar vs Pignite, Acrobatics and the foe pokemon was down

Avatar vs Haryama, 2 Acrobatics were more than enough, Victoria even healed Haryama once

Avatar vs Kirlia, 2 Acrobatics were, again, more than enough

Didn't expected to see Avatar this useful, really.

Victoria leaves, and i manage to solve the Gym Puzzle, so it's time to take down Shelly! But first, let's grind a bit

Avatar and OP vs Masquerain and Illumise, used Nuzzle on Masquerain and Sleep Powder on Illumise (this thing is sooo annoying), Masquerain used Struggle Bug (lowered Sp. Atk of both my mons) just to went down the next turn due to Electro Ball

Avatar and OP vs Anorith and Illumise, used Acrobatics and Sleep Powder on Anorith, Illumise awoke from sleeping and went with Struggle Bug. Then Shelly switched Illumise to Wormadam

Avatar and OP vs Anorith and Wormadam, Anorith got defeated by Acrobatics and Wormadam made Sleep Powder useless due to Overcoat

Avatar and OP vs Heather (Yanmega) and Wormadam, Nuzzle'd Heather, then OP got defeated by Ancient Power, Wormadam used Struggle Bug

Avatar and Sassy King vs Heather (Yanmega) and Wormadam, Heather got defeated by Acrobatics and Rock Slide, Wormadam tanked and went with Struggle Bug (critical hit on Sassy King, 14 HPs left)

Avatar and Sassy King vs Illumise and Wormadam, Nuzzle'd Illumise and defeated it with Rock Slide, Wormadam tanked and used Psybeam, Sassy King got beaten

Avatar and Clair vs Bugsy (Volbeat) and Wormadam, Nuzzle'd Bugsy then hit it with Shadow Ball, Wormadam Psybeam'd Clair. Went with Acrobatics on Busgy, wich tanked, and Light Screen with Clair, Wormadam used Struggle Bug and both of my mons tanked. Tried Acrobatics again on Bugsy but it got healed, used Shadow Ball on Wormadam. The pokemon tanked and went with Psybeam, wich confused Clair. The next turn Acrobatics defeated Bugsy and Clair hit herself due to the confusion, Wormadam went with Struggle Bug (again) but Avatar and Clair survived

Avatar and Clair vs Wormadam, Acrobatics failed to kill Wormadam, wich tanked and used Mirror Shot, defeating Avatar (MVP of the battle without any doubt), Clair hit herself but survived

Kai (hoped to conclude without using him or Mr. B, nevermind that) and Clair vs Wormadam, Wormadam got healed...but Kai OHKO it with Flame Wheel w/ critical hit

After that great battle Shelly hand over the Cocoon Badge and the TM76 Struggle Bug! With this badge all the pokemons will obey me until they reach level 40!

UPDATE 7: "Doctor Geezer"

Hi guys, welcome back!

So last time I took down Shelly, obtaining my 3rd official badge!

Shelly informes me that when a Gym Leader retires from his position, the League has another Leader of the same type ready to take his/her place. Maybe Ame actually does not know about Corey, so Shelly asks me to go and inform her.

When i arrive at the Gran Hall anyway, i meet Fern, who tells me that he has already told everything to Ame and that he is the backup for her sister Florinia. I also learn the name of the Poison Gym Leader's backup: Aya again, the same thing as Noel, her Dragalge is somewhat of illegal.

To reach her, btw, i'll need a particular key, and the green haired boy makes a deal with me: if i defeat him in a fight, he'll tell me where he found it. Let's get started

Kai vs Ferroseed, Flame Wheel and goodbye to Ferroseed

Avatar vs Ludicolo, Nuzzle'd Ludicolo, wich didn't attact due to the paralysis. Then i went multiple times with Electro Ball until the pokemon was down (Ludicolo got healed 2 times and failed another time due to the paralysis)

Clair vs Roserade, Roserade hit Clair with HP (dunno the type but it wasn't supereffective), who responded with Psybeam, Fern switched

Clair vs Servine, Servine got critical hit'd by Psybeam, then Mean Look'd Clair, who launched another Psybeam. Servine used Glare and Clair didn't attacked, the next turn Servine went with Leaf Tornado, Clair tanked and defeated the pokemon with another Psybeam (she also level'd up and learned Extrasensory)

OP vs Roserade, got hit by Giga Drain (no big deal), then used Supersonic. Roserade put OP to sleep, then defeated him with 2 Extrasensory

Avatar vs Roserade, Acrobatics. 'Nuff said.

So Fern is down, this oblige him to tell me that the key could be handed over by Aya's brother, who is a weird guy that dress like a woman and sing whenever he can. Then Fern leaves.

I think to know this guy: it's obviously Bill Kaulitz from Tokyo Hotel Cain!

Before i proceed any longer in the story say welcome to my new pokemon: Pawniard! (Got my Mistery Egg hacked since i can find Pawniard just on Route 4)

Pawniard the...well Pawniard, forgot to tell Njab a nickname for her :/ (Impish nature)

Anyway, i find Cain at Beryl Cemetery, and he tells me that she was looking for Heather, since to be all alone without someone who looks for you at such a young age can be extremely painful.Speaking about the key for her sister's Gym, if i manage to beat him he'll give me the key, so let's proceed

Pawniard vs Dewott, switched immediatly for Avatar (since Pawniard is still a bit low leveled)

Avatar vs Dewott, Revenge hit Avatar almost without inflicting damage. Nuzzle+Electro Ball finished the job

Pawniard vs Nidoking, switched immediatly again, just wanted to make her gain some Exp points

Sassy King vs Nidoking, Double Kick inflicted some damage, Sassy King went with Screech, but got defeated by 2 Double Kick

Kai vs Nidoking, 2 Flame Wheel and Nidoking was down

Pawniard vs Venomoth, same thing as before

OP vs Venomoth, Silver Wind critical hit'd OP. The next turn he got hit by Psybeam (tanked) and responded with Psybeam, wich confused Venomoth. Unfortunately Venomoth defeated OP with Gust

Kai vs Venomoth, Flame Wheel and bye bye Venomoth

Pawniard vs Grimer, same thing as before

Avatar vs Grimer, Grimer used Minimize and then Sludge Bomb, Avatar went with Shock Wave then Grimer got healed 2 times. Avatar managed to take it down anyway with Shock Wave

After the battle Heather appears, just to get mad at Cain telling him that she already has a friend that looks for her (Shelly). Right after that she fly away on her Salamence omg that's so cool :c to go to Lapis.

Cain tells me that right now he have to watch over Heather, and then moves to find her. I head to Lapis as well, and when i enter Shelly's room i find Heather mad at Cain (again) and Shelly (just because she thinks Heather is scary when she screams). The girl run away without flying on Salamence this time *sigh* and Cain follows her with Shelly and me.

Unfortunately, the bad Doctor manage to find her before us, and insists on take Heather in his institute

Cain: "Hand over the girl, geezer"

Connal: "Excuse me. I am not a "geezer". I am a Doctor. I've *useless things*"

Cain: "Fine then, back off, Doctor Geezer"

Connal says that he has all the rights to do that, since the girl right now hasn't any parents or tutors that can look for her, so his subordinates grab her and take her inside the institute. Shelly feels deeply responsible for what is just happened, so Cain cheers her up, telling that we are the team that's gonna rescue Heather (#REKTSquad in action m8s).

We hear a huge scream from the institute, so we move quickly to it. Anna lets us in, and while Cain takes care of the subordinates coming from the door at the Base Floor and Charlotte creates a diversive (unfortunately failed) me and Shelly begin to search for Heather, kicking the asses of all the employers in the building.

At the first floor anyway, an Orderly blocks the way with a mechanical gate. Anna suggests us to go look in the lab for a special program able to unlock it...she was actually right! So me and Shelly go to the upper floors, we set free Noel (who was grabbed by the employers when we started our plan) but the main way to Heather is blocked again, so we come back to ask Anna what to do.

Meanwhile at the base floor Cain managed to push back ALL the orderlies it's not a case that we are the #REKTSquad, eh, so we set free Charlotte, who gives us the key of Connal's Private Office, in wich there is the program that'll disable the gate!

So, we arrive at the top floor and manage to set Heather free, to run away right after that. Mission accomplished!

UPDATE 8: Battling a ghost!

Hi guys, welcome back!

So last time we rescued Heather from Doctor Geezer Connal's institute, and now me, Cain and the other ex-patients are officially running away from the law (since Connal has called the cops after the evasion).

I catch up with the others under the Opal Bridge (and in the meantime omg Connal forms an alliance with Team Meteor), anyway the only way to left Reborn City right now is unaccessible, since there isn't electricity to access the panel wich opens the door to escape from Reborn.

Noel find the solution: someone have to go and ask Mr. Shadow (aka Shade, the ghost that took away Corey's corpse) to turn up the electricity. Unfortunately, Shade is also a Reborn City Gym Leader, so the chosen one will have to battle him.

Ofc, the chosen one is me, so let's do this!

Before that, say hi to a new member: Diglett! (also i changed Clair's ability to Competitive with an Ability Capsule, thanks to Hiroki for the segnalation)

I return to Beryl and cross the bridge wich connect Beryl to the Old Power Plant and prepare myself to challenge Shade, the review:

1st try: arrived at Chandelure, but got defeated (i cry)

2nd try: made some grinding, taking all my pokemon to lvl 38, backups included (the only exception is Mate, wich is lvl 35) and found out that in the Grand Hall can rain lmao and tried a different team

Avatar vs Corey (Gengar), Nuzzle'd Corey, tanked Shadow Claw and defeated it with Electro Ball

Avatar vs Banette, Nuzzle'd Banette but got defeated by Shadow Claw

Clair vs Banette, Shadow Ball did serious damage on Banette, but Clair got hit by Knock Off (serious damage as well), then Shade healed his pokemon while Clair re-used Shadow Ball (this thing happened even the next turn, but Shade switched)

Cair vs Trevenant, 2 Shadow Ball and Trevenant was down

Clair vs Banette, Shadow Ball finished the job

Clair vs Doublade, OHKO'd Doublade with Shadow Ball

Mate (Dugtrio) vs Rotom, Sucker Punch inflicted some damage on Rotom for 2 times, but got defeated by 2 Shadow Ball

Kai vs Rotom, Rotom tanked Flame Wheel (this thing is too bulky god dammit) and hit Kai with Discharge, wich did fortunately almost no damage. Kai won with another Flame Wheel

Mr. B vs Chandelure, Toxic'd Chandelure, who responded with Flame Burst. The next turn Sludge Bomb + Stench made it flinch, unfortunately Mr. B got defeated by a Shadow Ball after another Sludge Bomb

OP vs Chandelure, tried to confuse Chandelure with Supersonic but got outspeeded/defeated by Flame Burst (switched OP in just to make the damage from Toxic bigger)

Clair vs Chandelure, Clair closed the battle with Shadow Ball

Yeah guys, Clair is back stronger than ever.

After that great battle Shade hands over the Omen Badge, along with TM65 Shadow Claw!

With this badge all the pokemon below lvl 45 will obey me, and i'll be able to use Flash outside the battle!

Shade then reactivate the electricity, showing me what's happening to my comrades: they're being taken by Team Meteor! Fortunately Cain manage to escape, but for the others it's too late.

UPDATE 9: Let's focus!

Hi guys, welcome back!

So last time i won my 4th Official Reborn Badge by defeating Shade, but right after that Team Meteor managed to take some of my friends as hostages!

I quickly return under the Opal Bridge, Victoria is already there and she tells me that Cain informed her about what happened. Unfortunately the way is now blocked by some boulders (*fault of Cain*), that can be moved by a certain move called Strength, to use it anyway i must defeat both Kiki (Victoria's sensei and Reborn Gym Leader) and Aya (Cain's sister and Reborn Gym Leader).

Anyway only Cain has the key to open Byxbysion Wasteland's gates, so we have to hurry and search for him!

I find the Pretty Boy in Coral and he tells me that he wanna rescue Heather and the others, so he's gonna defeat Kiki and take Strength from her.

Then the guy surfs away on his Muk leaving me alone one the dock teamwork > all, fortunately i meet Amaria coming out from one of the deposits, and the girl asks me if i wanna help her stop the pollution of the lake (apparently, she discovered that all the pollution comes from the Blackstream Factory in West Peridot). Of course i accept, and i head to Peridot with her.

We make an entrance to the Factory thanks to Amaria's Lapras (i want it.) and begin to kick the asses of the Meteors inside (her Lapras is lvl 80 lmao), one of them warns the boss of our presence, and Amaria starts to take on a huge amount of Meteor's members as a diversive to make my way more easy.

With my luck i get caught in a trap, and TM imprisons me with a bunch of other pokemon. Thanks to them i manage to break the bars that have been keeping me stuck, so i begin to search for TM's Boss.

After having opened 3 gates i finally arrive at the main room, i see the misterious man from the Mosswater Factory, ZEL and some other subordinates around a Muk inserted in a P.U.L.S.E. machine already know how this is gonna end.., the man explains me that Muk is the cause of Azurine Lake's pollution, then tries to kill me with his Garchomp but Amaria comes just in time to save me, freezing Garchomp wih an Ice Beam launched by her Kingdra.

Apparently, Team Meteor seems to have interests in a Sapphire Bracelet owned by Amaria, who gets mad and starts a battle with the strange man, while i try to stop P.U.L.S.E. Muk

Avatar vs Glaceon, switched

Kai vs Glaceon, Kai took an Ice Shard with almost no damage and OHKO Glaceon with Close Combat

Avatar vs Muk, Nuzzle'd Muk, got OHKO'd by critical hit Sludge Wave

Mate vs Muk, Mate used used Mud Bomb 2 times, reducing Muk's accuracy, and tanked Sludge Wave (the second one failed). Muk failed other 2 hits, while tanking 2 Bulldoze (1 HP, nothing to say about) then got healed. Mate hurt Muk with other 2 Bulldoze but got defeated by Muddy Water

Kai vs Muk, went with Close Combat (TANKED AGAIN WITH 1 HP LEFT), then got hit by Sludge Wave. Muk got healed again, then Kai went with another Close Combat. Kai got defeated by Muddy Water

OP vs Muk, confused Muk, wich defeated OP with Discharge

Clair vs Muk, Pshychic defeated (FINALLY) the foe

Mr. B vs Umbreon, used 3 times Sludge Bomb, but Umbreon used 2 Feint Attack and then Moonlight (restoring a lot its HPs). Mr. B used Toxic while getting hit by Quick Attack. Spammed Sludge Bomb again util Umbreon's health was at Red level, but got defeated by Feint Attack. Anyway, the foe got defeated due to the poison damage

Clair vs Espeon, strengthened Shadow Ball was enough to win the battle

I learn that the man's name is Solaris, and right after that he decide to use his Tyranitar to badly hit Amaria with Superpower to have a chance to flee.

Amaria expresses her gratitude by giving me the key of her personal boat, and i immediatly go to Apophyll Beach to find Cain and beat Kiki.

The girl runs a Martial Arts Academy on the beach and one of her students tells me that atm she is at the Training Field, and that if i wanna talk to her i should try to look there.

I arrive just before the start of the lesson (this one was over in something like 10 seconds [i wanna these kind of lessons for Maths :c]) and then after its ending i finally talk to Kiki, who tells me to meet her in her room well this is weird .

I meet both Victoria and Kiki in this one's room (i also learn that Victoria is actually Kiki's top student) and the Gym Leader gives me one opportunity to have the HM: i have to go at the top of Pyrous Mountain (situated right next the Academy) and challenge Kiki's best student of all time, who responds at the name of Cal. If i manage to take him down, then i'm allowed to challenge the Gym, and if i beat even Kiki then the HM is mine. also, seems like Victoria has a crush for him, well, time for someone to get rekt, Victoria is mine.

I quickly arrive at the top of the mountain (draining tons of lava, just to beat some time) and i finally find him, Red Cal, the Fire Type Trainer. He speaks some words about his life (particularly of his past by Reborn Gym Leader), Shelly (he seems to care about her a lot, because the two of them were always "obscured" by their brothers and they understood each other) and Blake, his brother who received all the attention always and from everyone. He also seems to be sorry for a certain thing that hurt Shelly a lot, and he affirms that that's what made him change.

After that little moment, the battle started

NOTE: Originally the weather was rainy, but i changed it to normal to have a fair battle

Avatar vs Infernape, Avatar OHKO'd Infernape with Acrobatics

Mate vs Thyplosion, Mate hit Typhlosion hard with Bulldoze, the foe took in sunlight to use Solar Beam but Mate defeated it the next turn with another Bulldoze

Mate vs Magmortar, used Bulldoze, but got defeated by a strengthened Lava Plume

Sassy King vs Magmortar, used Rock Slide but Magmortar tanked with 1 HP (AM I CURSED OR WHAT?) then took in sunlight for a Solar Beam. It was over but Sassy King failed the next Rock Slide, so Magmortar defeated him with Solar Beam

Avatar vs Charizard, Avatar defeated Charizard with 2 Electro Ball and resisted to a Wing Attack with almost no damage

Clair vs Delphox, Delphox outspeeded Clair and defeated her with 2 Shadow Ball, tanking a Shadow Ball as well

Avatar vs Delphox, Acrobatics defeated Delphox

Kai vs Blaziken, Kai went with Close Combat, wich hurt Blaziken a lot, then tanked a strengthened (Blaze ability + field) Blaze Kick wich made his HPs bar arrive almost at Red level, then Cal healed Blaziken, wich tanked again Close Combat. Thanks to Speed Boost now Blaziken was able to defeat Kai outspeeding him, but my beloved Infernape close the game with Mach Punch

Victory is mine then! So it's time to take down Kiki. I return to the Apophyll Academy to make some changes in my team (switched Sassy King and Mate for OP and Fab)

Speaking of Fab, i evolved her just after she learned Toxic, it was pointless to keep her the only NFE pokemon of this run

Anyway, at the Academy i see Kiki being helped by Victoria at staying on her feet, since she seems to be sick in a really bad way. The Gym Leader then asks me if i succeded in my mission, and after hearing a positive response she head to the battlefield. Victoria tries to stop me from battling her, because her master is dying and Victoria thinks that a loss could just makes her condition worse.

So here we go

Fab vs Scraggy, 2 Giga Drain were enough to defeat Scraggy

Kai vs Heracross, Kai defeated Heracross with 2 Flame Wheel, while tanking Aerial Ace

OP vs Gallade, OP hit Gallade with Gust but fainted after 2 Psycho Cut

Avatar vs Gallade, Acrobatics did the rest

Clair vs Emboar, Clair tanked a Heat Crash and won with 2 Psychic

Fab vs Hariyama, Toxic'd Hariyama and survived to Knock Off. The foe then used Belly Drum while Fab responded with Giga Drain. Both the pokmeon fainted the next turn (Hariyama for the poison, Fab for Smelling Salts)

In the end, the girl accepted my decision and leaves, while i prepare myself for the incoming battle with Kiki

Mr. B vs Machamp, set up 2 Toxic Spikes and hit Machamp with Sludge Bomb (wich poisoned the foe), but got defeated by 3 Strength

Avatar vs Machamp, defeated Machamp with Acrobatics

Avatar vs Gallade, again, one Acrobatics was enough

OP vs Toxicroak, OP got defeated by critical hit Poison Jab

Clair vs Toxicroak, OHKO'd Toxicroak with Psychic

Clair vs Hitmonlee, Hitmonlee tanked Psychic with 1 HP left (YES, I'M DEFINITLY CURSED) and then used Meditate. The next turn Hitmonlee got healed, and then tanked AGAIN WITH 1 HP LEFT PSYCHIC. The next turn the foe got healed and tanked Psychic again (more than 1 HP this time), Clair concluded with another Psychic

Kai vs Lucario, Close Combat destroyed Lucario

Avatar vs Medicham, Medicham tanked Acrobatics (while regaining some health with a berry)and defeated Avatar with Ice Punch

Kai vs Medicham, Kai used Flame Wheel, Medicham survived (1. DAMNED. HP.) but got defeated by another Flame Wheel

Anyway, Kiki collapsed after the battle and Victoria takes her to her room. The Gym Leader seems really pissed for her collapse because she see it as an act of weakness, then Victoria leaves the room shocked. I leave as well since Kiki wants to be alone right now, and Victoria makes me notice a little particular: where the hell is Cain? Wasn't he gonna challenge Kiki just a while ago?

Solaris has Full Restores (probably Full Heals too), so that Toxic will be erased. I would suggest Prankser Murcrow with Perish Song, but you probably don't want to cheap out like that.

UPDATE 10: Saving Cain + HELP

Hi guys, welcome back!

So last time i defeated Kiki and her Fighting Type pokemon team, and now i have to search for Cain in Azurine Island, since the Pretty Girl Boy seems to be lost in it.

The island is more like a swamp, and it's filled with wild Foongus all over the place (along with some interesting items btw) and it took me a while to arrive at a weird house in the middle of it, i guess Cain is there since there was no trace of him anywhere.

I have a bad surprise btw, since inside i find Aster and Eclipse! The two of them challenge me

Avatar and Fab vs Solrock and Lunatone, Lunatone got defeated by Electro Ball and Giga Drain while missing Psywave, Solrock hit Avatar with Psywave

Avatar and Fab vs Solrock and Rhydon, Nuzzle'd Solrock (wich missed Psywave) and Rhydon got OHKO'd by Fab

Avatar and Fab vs Solrock and Magmar, Solrock got OHKO'd by Electro Ball, Magmar used Feint Attack on Avatar and got hit by Sleep Powder

Avatar and Fab vs Milotic and Magmar, Magmar kept sleeping, while Milotic tanked Electro Ball. Avatar got defeated by critical hit Hydro Pump but got avenged by Fab, who defeaed Milotic with Giga Drain

Mr. B and Fab vs Electabuzz and Magmar, Electabuzz used Light Screen , this allowed Magmar to tank 2 Acid and 2 Sludge Bomb berfore waking up. Mr. B got defeated by 2 Thunder Punch and 2 Fire Punch

Kai and Fab vs Electabuzz and Magmar, Magmar got healed, while Close Combat defeated Electabuzz. Critical hit Close Combat defeated Magmar.

Well, after the battle Aster confirms (even without wanting it lmao) that Cain's actually here, so i begin to search for a hidden door or something like that.

I find it quickly then i heal my pokemon and head on, finding the Poison Type Trainer. He is trapped in a cell with some Team Meteor's member, Taka oh god pls no, ZEL and a Camerupt. Taka notices me, and i learn that they're gonna attack Apophyll (including Kiki's Academy and Victoria) by making Camerupt use Eruption on the top of Pyrous Mountain, the attack strengthened by PM's power could destroy completely Apophyll with one hit.

Ofc, i won't let them do that, so i challenge Taka

Kai vs Klefki, Klefki set up spikes, but got defeated by 2 Flame Wheel

Fab vs Gligar, Fab got OHKO'd by Acrobatics

Clair vs Gligar, Psychic did massive damage on Gligar and Clair tanked Night Slash. Taka healed his pokemon 2 times (saving him from the defeat) but Gligar fainted due to another Psychic

Kai vs Cradily, Close Combat almost defeated Cradily, wich went with Confuse Ray. Mach Punch finished the foe

Avatar vs Chatot, Avatar Nuzzle'd Chatot, then tanked Heat Wave and won the fight with Electro Ball PLS TELL ME THAT THE 1-HP-LEFT CURSE IS NOW BROKEN

Team Meteor leaves, so Cain is now free. The boy thanks me and heads to Apophyll to stop TM and save everyone (ofc before that he told some of his weird/unappropriate phrases).

I quickly come back at the Academy, and Victoria tells me that she already knows everything and that Kiki desires to talk us all. The Gym Leader begs us to stop Team Meteor and help Cal, who is already dealing with them. Me and Cain run to the entrance of the Pyrous Mountain, while Victoria remains at the Academy to help Kiki.

The girl anyway comes with us a bit after, since the dying girl intimated her to help me, Cain and Cal. Cain rushes on while me and Victoria proceed together, defeating some Meteors to gain our way.

At the top, we see Cain, Cal, Taka and Solaris. Cain was defeated already, since he couldn't take on the two Meteors together. Solaris focuses our attention on a problematic thing: there is a Camerupt inserted in a P.U.L.S.E., and if it uses Eruption, then it's the end of everything. Solaris tells Taka to deal with Victoria, while he takes me on.

So let's begin this suicide fight!

Maybe farm a Quick Claw off a Meowth, pop it on OP, get a priority Sleep Power. Follow up with Supersonic if he Full Heals, or Quiver Dance like mad, hoping he doesn't wake up. Follow through with Psybeam. Maybe sash Mate so you can get off a double Sucker Punch.

Mmh, this could be an idea but i doubt that Butterfree could inflict massive damage on Garchomp (even with 2-3 QD)

So last time i was about to battle Solaris! for the 20th time i guess

Let's do this

Fab vs Garchomp, Fab tried Sleep Powder, but got defeated by Earthquake

Avatar vs Garchomp, Garchomp won with Dragon Rush

Mate vs Garchomp, Sucker Punch just scratched Garchomp, wich defeated Mate with Earthquake

Clair vs Garchomp, Earthquake and you can imagine how it went

Kai vs Garchomp, same thing^

Mr. B vs Garchomp, same thing^^

Victoria and Cain seems to be shocked of my loss, in the meantime arrives Kiki. The Gym Leader sents Medicham and tries to attack the P.U.L.S.E., but incredibly Cal calls out his Magmortar, wich managed to stop Medicham, and throws in the volcano Kiki's pokemon.

Then, Solaris's Garchomp used Dragon Rush...on Kiki, killing her in an istant. Victoria is literally without words and rush to help her sensei, while Cal gets mad at Solaris because his teacher's murderer was not part of the plan.

Seeing that TM's leader is totally impassible, the Fire Type trainer, changes his mind and starts telling how Kiki helped him to go through the despair of being always considered worse than his brother in everything and adimts his weakness, then destroys the PU.L.S.E. with a Magmortar's Flame Burst, saving Apophyll.

Solaris just laughs at the boy, saying that actually Blake (Cal's brother) has reason: Cal is completely useless omg i'll laugh so hard when i'll wreck u at Titania's mansion Solaris. Then he disappears, along with his son Taka.

Cal is really sorry for what happened but Victoria doesn't wanna hear any excuses and intimates to the boy to stay away from her, making Cal leaving the top of Pyrous Mountain probably it's not important but..he went in the oppiste direction of the cave that leads to the exit, well nwm.

We come back at the Academy, where the girl gives me the HM Strength, but she says that the Fury Badge has been invalidated due to Kiki's death. Also, Victoria is gonna stay at the academy as the new Master, since Kiki chose her as a substitute.

Anyway me and Cain still have to save the kids, so we quickly head to the Byxbysion Wasteland, where my next challenge lies: Aya is waiting me with her Poison Type Team.

The Pretty Boy wants another battle before opening the gates, and actually it's a good thing since i need to light up my determination after Solaris, so here we go

Fab vs Venomoth, Fab took a Giga Drain and put Venomoth to sleep, then i switched

Kai vs Venomoth, OHKO with Flame Wheel

Mate vs Nidoking, Nidoking tanked Dig and hit Mate with a strong Poison Tail, then Cain switched while Mate was using Dig again

Mate vs Haunter, Dig had no effect on Haunter, wich defeated Mate with Shadow Ball

Clair vs Haunter, the two pokemon used both Shadow Ball (either tanked), then i switched since Haunter was faster

Avatar vs Haunter, Acrobatics defeated Haunter

Clair vs Nidoking, Psychic did the rest

Fab vs Samurott, Fab survived easily to Night Slash, then hit hard Samurott with Giga Drain. Samurott got healed but another Giga Drain was enough

Clair vs Muk, Psychic almost defeated Muk, but Clair got defeated by Sludge Bomb (she was badly injured, so it was predictable)

Kai vs Muck, Flame Wheel defeated Muk

Cain then opens the gates, and i enter for the first time in the Byxbysion Wasteland.

I think there are no words to describe it, just...purple. Purple everywhere.

It's filled with destroyed buildings/railnets and rocks, with some trees (even them are purple obv). With all this purple and wild Grimer/Venipede every two steps it's logical think that the Gym Leader trains Water Poison Type pokemon.

Somehow i manage to go through this desolated land, and i arrive at Aya's house. Her mother seems to be kinda mad at her daughter, because the living room of their house is now a Gym and there are people who step frequently.

Atm, Aya is battling another trainer, so it should not be a bad idea to see how she battles. With my surprise, the trainer is Fern, and that jerk managed to defeat the Gym Leader and earn the badge!

Right after that another trainer comes, he's Hardy, the Reborn Rock Type Gym Leader (and ex-classmate of Fern at the Onyx Trainer School), and he is came to say "hello" to the new Gym Leader. While Aya heals her pokemon in the healing machine, while Fern "helps" me gettin ready with a battle

Kai vs Ferrothorn, Flame Wheel badly hurt Ferrothorn, wich responded with Pin Missile (almost no damage). Fern healed his pokemon two times but in the end it got defeated by Flame Wheel (though Kai got injured several times due to Iron Barbs)

Fab vs Krokorok, Giga Drain OHKO'd the foe

Clair vs Roserade, Clair got outspeeded and hit by Giga Drain (wih did unexpectedly a lot of damage), Roserade got hit by Psychic. Clair got defeated by another Giga Drain

Kai vs Roserade, Flame Wheel did the rest

Mr. B vs Scyther, spammed Sludge Bomb until Scyther fainted

Avatar vs Serperior, 2 Acrobatics were enough

After the battle Hardy offers himself to direct the match, while Fern sits in an angle to watch. Aya returns, so it's time to battle again

Avatar and Fab vs Tentacruel and Nidoqueen, Nuzzle'd Tentacruel (wich didn't attacked due to paralysis), Nidoqueen used Spikes and Fab put it to sleep. The spikes hurt Fab and Avatar took down Tentacruel with Electro Ball. Fab used Giga Drain on Nidoqueen

Avatar and Fab vs Gengar and Nidoqueen, Nidoqueen got healed while Avatar Nuzzle'd Gengar (wich didn't attacked due to paralysis). Fab used again Giga Drain on Nidoqueen, wich resisted with a few HPs. Gengar tanked Electro Ball and used Sludge Bomb, Avatar hardly tanked and got poisoned. Gengar got defeated the next turn and Nidoqueen got hit by another Giga Drain. Avatar fainted due to the poison.

Clair and Fab vs Dragalge and Nidoqueen, Clair hit Dragalge with Psychic (more than half HP of damage), wich used Sludge Wave. My pokemon survived and Fab used Sleep Powder on Dragalge. The next turn Giga Drain and Psychic defeated the foes, but before that Nidoqueen awakened and defeated Clair with Crunch.

Fab and Kai vs Drapion and Venusaur, Kai inflicted a lot of damage on Venusaur with Flame Wheel, but got poisoned by Drapion, wich hit it with Poison Tail. Fab tanked Power Whip but failed to use Sleep Powder on Drapion. The next turn Venusaur got defeated by Flame Wheel and Drapion failed Aqua Tail (got lucky, i admit) and this time Sleep Powder was successful. Then i switched Fab for Mate.

Mate and Kai vs Drapion, hit Drapion with Close Combat, then the next turn used Bulldoze with Mate (lowered a little Drapion's HPs) and Close Combat closed the match

Again, i forgot to take the screenshot of the battle ending, i'm a complete idiot

Aya seems to be disappointed since she hates to do the Gym Leader. Anyway she has to do it, because her baby brother (Cain) left all of a sudden their home and never returned. Hardy offer himself as a volounteer to give her some advices and tells her to give me my badge, the girl accepts.

After this, i officially receive the Venom Badge and the TM 34, Sludge Wave! Also, i can use Strength outside the battle and all the pokemon under level 50 will obey me!

UPDATE 11.5: Quick things to say!

Hi guys!

Nothing important, the next update will be up tomorrow! Sorry if i haven't posted anything the past days but i had a lot of IRL stuff on my mind and i wasn't in the mood to play Reborn. Fortunately right now things are a bit better and tonight i'll bring all my pokemon up to level 45-47 (to be prepared for Serra) and then i'll continue the main storyline wish me luck for Onix because right now is useless, i need a Metal Coat asap.

Also, i catched 3 more pokemon, and if i have to be honest the ones wich i desired the most since the beginning of the run:

Bird Jesus the Archen (Impish Nature), crap IVs but hey, he's Shiny and omg i like it a lot

Iki the Misdreavus (Calm Nature), perfect IVs in all the useless stuff but it's not so bad (and he has Nasty Plot wich is op)

Heaven the Eevee (Bold Nature)
