Back when I was a young whippersnapper...

This will be the topic where I reminisce the good old days back when I was a boy. Even though I'm still pretty young, I feel so dang old, so that's why I'm making this topic, to share my tales of the days when I was a young sprout. So gather around, and listen to what this old/young man has to share, because I can guarantee, it'll be a long ride.

Note: Some of my tales might be in the Nightclub, because some are more... mature, I should say. Do keep that in mind.

Story time, ladies and gentlemen! Sit down, and enjoy some good ol' fashioned tunes as you read the very first story I share!

You may listen to what you want, but I'd suggest listening to some tunes such as these, since it's almost Halloween!

Now, THIS story, is all about my arrival to Pokemon Reborn in general. (Ohhh, don't worry, I'll try coming up with a story when it's even closer to Halloween). Now normally, I'd put this in the Grand Hall, but I feel that this is WAY long overdue. Anyways, let's begin, shall we?

Back when I was a boy, it was a hot summer of 2011 (Yes, I officially joined Reborn in 2012, but I merely stumbled upon it in 2011.). I was only 15 years old, and somewhere where I can't remember, I formed a clan on Pokemon Online. It was a clan called Ironfist, which was based on an ideal political party I attempted to make when I became Sophomore President of my high school. Yes, It seems stupid now, but it seemed like a great idea at the time (I was a power-crazed child back then). I've tried spreading my clan across from server to server, and eventually, I came to Reborn. (This was also around the time I went to Minnesota after so many years, as well as Wisconsin to go to the Wisconsin Dells, as well as a house built on a gigantic rock. Long story, really.) Some people may remember those days, and to this day, some still mention the Ironfist days... Both on Reborn, and in life, but only a few.

It was because of my lust for a strong organization that I completely missed out on Season 1 of the Reborn League. That, and I wanted to live my life (I'm still living it.) It wasn't until one fateful day, May 15, 2012, when I became an official member of Pokemon Reborn. Ever since then, I dominated the Reborn League's Season 2 and its X-League (With the help of my amazing mentor Dark Desire), and Season 3 and whoever I could beat in its X-League before the whole league shut down. However, my Reborn League Story will be for another day.

Also since then, I have made wonderful stories of my adventures in Pokemon games, which has taken my Pokemon game-playing to a whole new level. Maybe one day, I will be able to make video let's plays, too, who knows?

Which brings me to now. After playing and enjoying Pokemon games and fangames such as Reborn and Rejuvenation, I have become a developer for a fangame called Pokemon Revolution (Revo. in shorter terms.). And ever since I joined Reborn, the fan games have been changing rapidly. From new forms of Mega Evolution (PULSE, Dimensional Rifts) to Field Effects, things just keep changing. While the good old days were nice, maybe once I finish the game, I'll get started on a whole new file when the games are finished.

I have also made new friends, played fascinating games (Zero Alliance, RCBA, Survivor: Reborn, etc), and more! Yup, it certainly is a wonderful life being here in Reborn.

Stay tuned, Reborn, for more exciting stories.

I'll probably work on the first story when I'm not too busy with things. I've been doing so many things all day, and hope it's not gonna be like that for the rest of the week. XD

But don't worry, stay tuned!

Halloween is nearing closer and closer, and with that, a special Halloween story!

Back when I was a boy, on every Halloween per year, there was nothing more I enjoyed, than eating candy and bringing fear. Of course, the fear part wasn't exactly true, though I seem to do it everyday, even when I try not to. Every year, I trick-or-treated, up until the 7th grade. It was at that year I met two twins, and surprisingly, we were around the same age! Me and my twin brother became fast friends with them, and of course, we didn't realize they were twin brothers back then! Until a few weeks after we met them, that's when we knew, because they told us themselves, and we were surprised, too! We hung out a few times, and it was a delight. We even decided to hang out on that Halloween night. Of course, we were at that age and time, when people grow tired of the same old thing every Halloween night. We did trick-or-treat, and it was good. However, for the most part, we hung out and partied, as any other group of kids would. And it's been the same thing every year, until eventually... We stopped trick-or-treating, tired of the same old thing, but Halloween was still here. Halloween was a time where we laughed, and we cried...

...As Halloween, after all, can never truly die.

Well, you can all probably imagine what I'll be doing this weekend. However, me and my brother will also be hanging out with them on the day BEFORE Halloween, too. Since the four of us are all in college, it's hard for us to hang out like we used to, so we pretty much take all the time we can get. (Even though I wanted to go to a Halloween party, too...) Anyways, that's also the reason why I'm posting this story early before the big day! Happy Halloween, everyone! :D

Heh, the wording of the thread could be better and the Reborn community is almost infamous for the number of transgenders and non-binaries it has attracted. 'Sup guys- "I respect your lifestyle."

Something I've learned: there is nothing like obtaining age to make years seem short rather than long ordeals.

The beginning years are formative: All the experiences are new and exciting and innocent. You remember all of them. As you get older, stories, events, and circumstances start to repeat themselves. You don't keep two copies of the same document or picture on your computer, do you?

My second adage of the post: There is nothing like experience to make things appear routine.

The wonder, the surprise, the novelty is gone. Everyone has to start somewhere, and with my age and experience I can't help but hate Fairy Tale and One Piece as much as I do while for many others it is their introduction to anime.

It really doesn't help when old things that are great don't have graphics and/or techniques that have aged well. These superficialities are often enough on their own to drive away a contemporary audience, even if the story and its message is timeless. Has anyone here seen 12 Angry Men? It's an old black and white flick, but it is one of the most highly rated movies of all time and I did enjoy it

What might be new to some might be a terrible rehash, a shabby remake, to others.

It's been a good while, but here it is... This week's theme is Favorite Pokemon! Enjoy!

Back when I was a boy, I was all aboard the hype train for Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. However, before that time, my favorite Pokemon was a cute, little Igglybuff, and, of course, Pikachu (How can anyone NOT love the tiny little bastard?) Anyways, when Diamond and Pearl came out, I was all up for that crap. By the time the first Pokemon tournament I entered came around, I had an awesome team of six: Infernape, Garchomp (Or Froslass, I don't remember from the top of my head), Empoleon, Haunter (Yes, I forgot to evolve it into Gengar), Abomasnow (Properly nicknamed Obamasnow, of course), and Honchkrow. Little did I realize, that one of these Pokemon was actually going to become my absolute favorite. I surprisingly won the tournament (Even though the other finalist used a fricking Regigigas, even though legendaries were BANNED), and then moved on to other tournaments.

For some of the tournaments, I had a relatively similar team. Almost all of the team was the same, except for a few new ones, but a few stayed in the team. During the Unova days where one HAD to have 5th gen Pokemon, I was unable to use any of my beloved Pokemon from before. When we were free of that restriction, I think I used my favorite Pokemon for that. HOWEVER, by the time X and Y came out, I was now free to use Pokemon other than 5th gen. My team for that tournament was actually similar to my X-League team in Season 3, except for Dragonite being replaced with Salamence, and having no Darkrai whatsoever.

However, only one Pokemon that was on that team was also in my teams from years before... One Pokemon that was always faithful to me... One Pokemon, that even swept THROUGH for me... Heck, I even had him on my teams for when I was in Season 2 and 3's X-Leagues. But my one favorite, faithful Pokemon is...

...Honchkrow.

AND I THOUGHT IT WAS CHARIZARD, IGGLYBUFF, OR PIKACHU!!! While those three will always have a close place in my heart as second bests, THIS Pokemon, IS MY BOY! Me and this bird go WAY back! WAY back, that I'm actually going to have him in my Reborn and Rejuvenation teams! His name for both games is P.I.M.P., but he needs a PROPER name, and what better name to name him than Falcone? Some of you guys might know this name from the works of Pokemon Revolution, but THIS bird, is my signature Pokemon. (Charizard, Igglybuff, and Pikachu, I will always love you, but this bird is THE closest companion I could ever have.)

As I was talking to a friend of mine, I even scrolled up to see when my last conversation was. A year ago, she told me, "If you could only choose ONE POKEMON (If it has a devolution, it can evolve) to make real and have it go on adventure with you, what would it be (no legendaries)?" This surprises me, because I just looked back at it today, but I actually said that I would choose Honchkrow!

For Halloween this year, I even dressed in a classy black and red suit, too, complete with a hat and cane! Yup... I can honestly say that Honchkrow is definitely my favorite Pokemon, as well as my signature Ace.

It's funny, because in Pokemon Revolution, my character's closest companion (And Ace) is a Honchkrow who can speak. And the development Pokemon Revolution is actually the point where it brought me back to my fondness of Honchkrow. If Revolution didn't exist, I would still probably be oblivious to it all.

He may move slow, he can't fly high, but this bird's one hell of a guy!

Reader's discretion is advised.

Alllrighty kids, it's time for another backstory! It's a little close to my birthday, but it's not about that. Instead, it's about how the start of my love for video games!

Back when I was a REALLY young boy, my older sister had a birthday party. Of course, birthday parties usually have quite a bit of people, so me and my brother were vastly outnumbered. In fact, she pretty much kicked us out. It was a good thing she did, though, because then the two of us went to our aunt's house. When we got there, our aunt showed us something very new to us at the time: The Nintendo 64. It was a system that came out around the time we were born, and it was almost VERY close to the day we were born. We were born on November 13th, 1996, while the N64 came out in September 29, 1996 in the United States.

She also pulled out a game called Donkey Kong 64. I remember the two of us always refraining from pushing the A button, because we always enjoyed the DK Rap (And we still do!). We listened to the DK Rap, and played the game. Multiplayer was literally a blast, the story mode was great, and it even came with Donkey Kong and Jetpac! I remember always getting stuck at trying to get the high score for Donkey Kong, but now I usually get stuck at trying to beat my OWN high score. The music was great, and the graphics were wonderful in its time. I also played games like Super Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask, and even caught a glimpse of the cartridge (or box) of Conker's Bad Fur Day around the time I was little (Which I wish she still had... That game is pretty fun!).

Whenever I wasn't at my aunt's house to play the N64, I was usually at my uncle's house, playing Donkey Kong 64 with my family. Eventually, our cousin (Our uncle's son) and his family gave us their N64, as well as their Super Nintendo! The Super Nintendo had games such as Super Mario World, Super Mario Allstars, and more.

I also remember that when I went to Minnesota when I was a kid, I was introduced to Mario Kart 64 at a McDonalds on the way. Me and my brother loved it so much, we were amazed that we managed to find one at a garage sale. Mario Kart 64 was also the start of Mario Kart for us, too! As a kid, I always enjoyed N64 games, and every time I visited my old local library, I always checked out a N64 game. Some games from the list of games I checked out were Paper Mario 64, Banjo Tooie, Pokemon Puzzle League, Mario Tennis, Mario Golf, and even the original Super Smash Brothers. Unfortunately, this library has closed, and turned into an enrichment center, which is still good, I guess, because the library moved into a new building. Today, that library now has newer video games, such as Wii, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, as well as Wii U, and 3DS. I haven't paid too much attention to know if there are Xbox One or Playstation 4 games, but I'm assuming that there are. Heck, that library even has some new things, such as video game tournaments, as well as game nights, with systems both new and old from Wii U and Xbox One to the good ol' N64! (I could share more about the tournaments I was in, but that's another story for another day!)

Today, I do enjoy the newer systems such as the New 3DS XL, Wii U, and Xbox One. However, deep down, when I'm not playing newer systems, I like to go back and play the N64 and Super Nintendo, because they just bring back such wonderful memories. To this day, I always think of my family whenever I play these two systems, because they're sentimental to me. Yes, I have newer systems, but it's not really the same as playing these old systems. I actually love the Nintendo 64 and Super Nintendo just a bit more, because they're the systems that started my love for video games.

Thank you so much for playing my game!

I know, right? DK64 is my shit. Always has been, always will be. It's too bad Rare went over to Microsoft... Rare usually makes some pretty great games (Save for a select few)

And YAAAAAS, Edge! That song is my shit, too!

You know, I think I've shared some stories already, so if any of you want, feel free to share any stories of your own. Yes, I'll still be sharing stories (I'm not dead!), but I'll give others the chance to share too.
